mostly 2D stuff like traditional platformers, action platformers, cinematic platformers or metroidvanias
and then mostly just 3D action-adventure stuff. I guess seeing my character is important to me
what fighting games do you play? I've always wanted to get into the genre but I'm too dumb to memorize combos and struggle with complex inputs, so I always stuck to Smash instead since it's a bit more fluid and easy to pick up
I play Tekken 7, Guilty Gear Strive, and I will play KOFXV once the characters I want get in. If at all.
>I've always wanted to get into the genre but I'm too dumb to memorize combos and struggle with complex inputs,
That sounds hard but it really isn't. I haven't really gotten into the genre until about a year ago. The hard part is the beginning where you understand those things but then your mind goes blank in a match against a player. Eventually you get used to it and understand footsies and neutral. You just have to play them and can start whenever you want.
do you play with an arcade stick or anything?
I am a keyboard chad. Stick and pad don't feel good to me. You have to find what works for you.
Lately it's been mostly Roguelite and Roguelike games. Can't be bothered to pick anything else up.
If a fun management game appears I'll play that.
I've been on a stint of RPG/Adventure games. The last three games I beat were Dragon's Dogma, Hollow Knight, and Yoku's Island Express. I'm currently playing Pillars of Eternity at the moment. Still not sure if I'm going to go right for the sequel or try something else at the moment. Maybe Underrail again now that the new update is finally out.
I don't play video games.
>Fighting games
>Card games
the most fun and engaging kind of games that actually require brain usage. puzzle games too but I don't play those nor do I know of any
Card games are too RNG for me.
Primarily
>Fighting Games
>RPGs
>Action
>Tactics/Strategy
>Business sim if that's what you call Rollercoaster Tycoon
I don't partake in too many FPS games aside from Titanfall. I also stopped playing MOBAs years ago.
I also play card games but with physical cards with friends.
that puppy is long since dead of old age by now
>RTS games, some turn based stuff as well
>Arcade flying "sims" or whatever genre Ace Combat and Project Wingman fit in
>Some sports games, although it's almost exclusively Football Manager
99% of what I play is horror. The 1% is FOTM shit like Elden Ring or VNs like pic related
>Fighting
>Tomboy
>Mind_break
I don't play videogames but I do shitpost about them constantly
>playing only two genres
The phrase that Gankerirgins don't actually play video games will be around for as long as this board/site stays alive.
