Some of the sexual scenes are especially disturbing. The gore is more of an afterthought. Couple jump scares though.

Currently in the Unlimited Blade Works / Rin route, and I've liked it much more than the Saber route. The twists were interesting and Rin is best girl anyway.
I still have the Heaven's Feel section to play, but Sakura doesn't really interest me at all.
F/SN isn't really something you read for the romance. HF is the craziest route, you should read it.

I just finished chaos;head noah after playing steins;gate. I was completely unspoiled, so much I didn't even look at the characters before playing. It was a wild ride to say the least.
The scene in link related was so well done I'm sure it'll stay in my head even if I forget everything about the game afterwards.

The Committee of Zero patch, yeah. I did apply the patch fortunately. Although, since I know some japanese, I noticed some lines still didn't match exactly what the characters were saying. Just nitpicking though.
The atmosphere and the tension was super kino in like the 75% first half of the game but it got too fantasy-esque for me in the end.

Yeah, but I guess it was meant to relieve all the tension that was built up. It felt good to finally have a goal after being utterly helpless not knowing what the frick was going on for most of the game.

Anons, help me out. What are some actual good VNs? Is Ever17 good, and can I read it without starting with Never7?
S;G is the only really good VN. The rest are average or worse.
Even if it's entryway, S;G suffers from some bad pacing in the latter half and the childish protagonist isn't very easy to get into at first. It takes a while for things to get good so maybe it's not good for a first VN.
Nothing at the moment because I'm occupied with JRPGs. Going to start b***h on a Horny Night, KnS2, or Tokyo Necro soon; haven't decided which yet.
