Common sense. Anyone making MMD videos worth watching are using some combination of a custom edited motion, camera, model, or all three. If they weren't then no one would be watching them in the first place. And these people aren't sharing their custom edits for you to download and use on your own.
Being able to load up and render models and animations yourself for 6DOF viewing is ideal, but if someone is using a good combination of model, animation, and particularly camera, why wouldn't you watch it?

Uh try I think it's called masterpiece studio. Recently re-released for free. Does a lot of things from sculpting to rigging also animations. Just download or catputure the animations you want and use either a pre rigged character or rig one yourself (last I tried took 30 mins to rig in vr, a lot easier than blender which took me 2 hours)

Will never understand the people who think VaM is too complicated. It has an ingame scene downloader that downloads everything and a scene browser that takes you right into the scene. Literal low IQ running around posting.
simply moving a character around can be a pain in the ass. change someone's pose and then they reset their position and there's a physics explosion. loading poses or moving objects or modifing lights in a scene. every thing has way too many options. there needs to be a "basic mode" toggle that hides like 80% of the menues. its bloated with options. also the language is weird. theres looks AND appearances? this is coming from someone with probably over a hundred hours in it. its still annoying as hell to use sometimes.

Yes. It works online, too, but only Local servers with friends. Using the mod on Official Servers will get you VAC'd. It's a simple drag-and-drop installation with some tweaking needing done to the game's video settings, and it works with all of your Workshop mods. Motion controls for melee weapons, too, which of course makes them way more OP.

So far, my favourite experiences with VR have been games like Moss 1 and 2, and stuff like Tetris Effect and Rez HD, which require little movement and can be played from a seated position. Anything out there that's recommended for me?
Played Trover, will try Thumper. I wish they did more dollhouse-style platformers. Moss is fricking awesome. I regret that the team's currently busy making a MOBA sequel to it of all things.
its a weird genre. because it often doesn't really take advantage of vr in the way other games can. they're still fun though. if like to try a city builder in vr. but i just have quest one and cities vr won't work on it. theres this indie god game sort of thing called deism that alright.
