Lyon could learn a thing or two from Kvasir.

Way too many.
Asthmatic bookworm was mad that the other princes were all fit alpha chad tacticians, and this would prevent him from pounding Eirika's sopping-wet-for-Seth pussy.
his dad was shit >lyon goes to his dad and tells him grado is going to get fricked by an earthquake >says they should get help from renais >vigarde is apparently good friends with fado, renais and grado are allies >despite this, vigarde tells lyon that renais would never help grado, its not in their self-interest >then dies of his illness >lyon despairs, takes his father's advice to not ask ephraim and eirika for help, and turns to the demon king >in the end, grado gets fricked by the earthquake, and ephraim goes off to help grado, exactly as lyon said he would
it all goes back to vigarde fricking it up
>despite this, vigarde tells lyon that renais would never help grado, its not in their self-interest
This part is wrong, Vigarde didn't ask for help because his only flaw: PRIDE. That same flaw kep him from telling his people that he was seriously ill.
Not much of an occupation either, it's just that homosexual fricking his livedoll on the palace and not bothering to send troops to the countryside or collect taxes from the land. Even Selena mentions how understaffed they are to keep Renais actually occupied. And that is before even their army is tasked with crushing the sacred stones ouch right in the fire emblem
He introduces Lyon syndrome to the franchise >be smarter than average >forsee a problem for your nation >do stupid things to try and stop the problem >make it way worse >despair because you are surrounded by morons
Pelleas has this problem too but he's surrounded by people smarter than he is so it works out
Story telling how. It was very basic. Lyon was an incel frightened at the responsibility of being Emperor while wishing he could be strong like his father and later Ephraim. Also wishing that he could have Erika because so does everyone else. He was a weak man in the position that required a strong man and he deserved the end he got.
You know what's really funny? Riev comes from Rausten, a religious kingdom. He got thrown out for practicing Dark Magic where he was taken into Grado later on. But imagine being raised in the Vatican and somehow coming to the conclusion that Satan is badass
I also just realized that with his Dex stat he effectively has 40 crit with a Killer Lance. Monsters don't have Luck and the entire final third of the game are monsters. Japanese Cormag could solo the rest of the game with barely any issue. Except against maybe Riev.
Don't forget the first support where Myrh asks to call him brother. And the first part of the one in that image where she wonders if he should be calling her grandmother.

I think poor Lyon was a bit moronic
The strong implication is that Lyon only attempted to use the Fire Emblem to bring back his father. I don't have proof that it was Riev who convinced him of the possibility but given his track record and the bullshit that went down with Orsen, it was probably Riev that convinced Lyon it was possible. Once he had the Fire Emblem Lyon's mind was immediately corrupted. While he might not have tolerated the zombies when he was normal, after he was possessed he probably didn't care. The routes seem to flip flop between how lost Lyon was at various points in the story. In Eirika's route Lyon was already gone when he met her. While in Ephraim's route he seems to have just enough control to admit his selfish motivations for doing what he did.
Well we do see some shades of his original character. Before his possession he was really into history and learning magic. And he always had a crush on Eirika. It's kind of sad because he always thought he was less than Ephraim or his father. But he didn't have to be. He could use Magic. The other two can't, he had something that they didn't. If he had the confidence to not try and be Ephraim-lite he could've been a decent ruler. He might not have gotten Eirika but he was still left with the entire fricking Empire of Grado. I'm sure Selena would've been willing to serve the Emperor.
Because it's a game I enjoy. I like understanding why I enjoy the games I do and I think about them after playing them, especially if it's a game I've played multiple times. Paper thin or no it's still there.
Because there are SEVERAL flashbacks to before he was possessed which (You) seem to have missed. I wish you had made this post about FE7 so I could at least agree to it.
None of that has any relevance to the story of the game though. He is already possessed at the start of the game, so his history doesn't matter because his character has already been overwritten.
Didn't seem like it. Eirika is generally nice to everyone. I don't think Eirika secretly wanted Lyon's dick, she probably just thought of him as a close friend while Lyon wanted something more.

>I must use da evil magic to save everybody!
>oh no I am possessed how could this be?
ephraim route lyon was in control though
or was he?
certainly not possessed the way he is on eirika route, based on morva's different reaction
demon king tricks, say I
Born to shit
Forced to wipe
Lyon is fricking tragic, he is basically the FE version of Oersted.
his dad was shit

>not shown : massive renais riots from starvation
To be fair tho the invasion must have thinned the herd a little especially on Grado's side
its weird that the liberation of renais is basically just taking the capital, and the occupation isnt dwelt on at all
Not much of an occupation either, it's just that homosexual fricking his livedoll on the palace and not bothering to send troops to the countryside or collect taxes from the land. Even Selena mentions how understaffed they are to keep Renais actually occupied. And that is before even their army is tasked with crushing the sacred stones ouch right in the fire emblem
I mean, just look at him.

High on the Eirikussy
>Dude trust me
what was his problem?
His philosophy is that there's nothing wrong with being evil.
He was an incel
Why can't we have storytelling like this in the newer FE games?
Story telling how. It was very basic. Lyon was an incel frightened at the responsibility of being Emperor while wishing he could be strong like his father and later Ephraim. Also wishing that he could have Erika because so does everyone else. He was a weak man in the position that required a strong man and he deserved the end he got.
>storytelling like this
moronic nonsense? We do still have that,
Julius if he incel.
>Yep, this guy looks trustworthy
You know what's really funny? Riev comes from Rausten, a religious kingdom. He got thrown out for practicing Dark Magic where he was taken into Grado later on. But imagine being raised in the Vatican and somehow coming to the conclusion that Satan is badass
imagine living in God's kingdom and somehow coming to the conclusion that you're better than him
Fair enough
that's just what Lucifer did I mean
Yes I caught that anon. I was agreeing with you
just had to make sure since my post was a bit vague
And his name? Grima Wormtongue.
He looks like an incel so no wonder that Lyon teamed with him.
what's riev's backstory beyond being excommunicated from rausten? did he know lyon? how involved was he in the demon king's resurrection
Japanese Riev is insane
>25 MAG with a 12 Mt Aura Tome
>in a game where only Pegasi and Bishops have reasonable resistances
Japanese Cormag's base stats on the Eirika route are insane too
What the frick? 18 STR? Those are endgame numbers for some units
I also just realized that with his Dex stat he effectively has 40 crit with a Killer Lance. Monsters don't have Luck and the entire final third of the game are monsters. Japanese Cormag could solo the rest of the game with barely any issue. Except against maybe Riev.
qrd on SS localization difficulty changes?
I loved SS's aesthetic, it didn't deliver the challenge 6 and 7 did.
Were we robbed?

>wants to get fricked by Ephraim
>they're too busy fricking each other
He could've been saved so easily, it's a shame.
He was possessed, so his character is irrelevant.
Well we do see some shades of his original character. Before his possession he was really into history and learning magic. And he always had a crush on Eirika. Why do you care so much about the paper-thin characters of this second-rate Gameboy game?
Why do you care about shitting on them so much?
Being an unpleasable, jaded unhappy piece of shit is not an endearing personality.

only if you play the eirika route
Wasn't Eirika crushing hard on him, or was she just being nice? Autism, can't honestly tell
Didn't seem like it. Eirika is generally nice to everyone. I don't think Eirika secretly wanted Lyon's dick, she probably just thought of him as a close friend while Lyon wanted something more.
I like Ross.
What was his problem
too much drip
Refused to pay child support.
