I'll never forget getting it on Christmas day. My grandma got me a Gameboy and a Wolverine action figure and my dad got me the game
I borrowed red version from a friend and later brought my own copy of yellow when I was 8. Red was the first pokemon game I touched while yellow was the first I could call my own.
Pokemon Red. Got it on Christmas morning in 1999 along with a purple GameBoy Color from my Grandma.
I hope you're lying to fit in because being 30+ and browsing this place is sad
Hard disagree
We were here when it was good, and are now stuck even though Ganker sucks
You consensually decide to be here when Ganker is complete garbage without even knowing any good of it. The same applies to pokemon as a whole. It's garbage now and you only disagree because you don't know any better, you have no past to compare it to.
>Ganker was never good
LITERALLY no one will EVER say this compared to what we have now. Even the most newest of fags will agree current Ganker is beyond garbage
Same as you, I actually found my cartridge in an empty street while I was walking home from the park with my mom. My friend then gave me his brother's old gameboy some time later and I got to play it

I really got into pokemon when I saw a playthrough of pokemon emerald online, then discovered what emulators were
To be honest I wish I experienced it when it was there but I had a lot of fun anyways.
god bless 2D pokemon
I played Leaf Green first from my cousin's GBA but later I ask my dad to buy me Yellow and I played it on my sister's GBC. My sister got Gold and Crystal.

I go where I want

The 2007 MUH scientology raids influx really did a fucking huge amount of damage to this sites quality.
You posted it. But my parents bought me Silver and Sapphire at the same time, I just played Firered first.
see except I only had FireRed to start with
I will now play your game.

I got the exact same as you on the same day though it was from my parents
Emerald for me.
Ranger 2
Pokemon Red for the Gameboy back in 1995. Pokemon Crystal for the Gameboy CoLOR and so ok and so forth.

Pokemon Blue for me, my brother got Red at the same time.
Leaf Green. Then silver. Then Ruby. Weird how it worked out that I played the gens in order sort of
Diamond
Pokemon Blue.
I think Gen 1 is by far the worst Gen
good thread
Crystal.
Imagine choosing:
Blue
Crystal
Sapphire
Leafgreen
Pearl
Soul Silver
Black
X
Alpha Sapphire
Moon
Sword
Violet
X
Pokémon Colosseum
Have to say, I was disappointed the mainline games were in single battles.
That design choice just seems idiotic to me.
First I played was Red, first I owned was Yellow.
Pokemon GO
I’m sorry
the first Pokemon game I ever interacted with was Red but I was too young to understand it so the first game I beat was Ruby
I'm a hoennbaby
Pokemon Blue
Sapphire on Emulator but I changed to Emerald around Rustboro City
Pokemon Y.
ZOOM ZOOM, YOU LITTLE TRANNY FUCK YOU I HATZE YOOOOOOOUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!

blue. was in 2nd grade. beat the whole thing with venusaur pressing the a button
Blue. I get why people consider it archaic today but I still think it's solid. It's just a really simple version of the formula.
