I didn't even have the usual Toxic strategy, I just spammed Foul Play because Legendary. Reading the meltdown the next day was fricking hilarious, especially when nuzlockers were raped so hard going in blind that an 'U-Necrozma Clause' was accepted as a legitimate option.

Anon, you're not going to be Lv65 in a point where the boss is meant to be overleveled @ Lv60, the same level as Hau's ace during the final battle of the game. Unless you're so bad at the game you need to grind several levels to not get all 6 pokemon oneshot multiple times, you'll be at Lv50-52 on an averaged-out party of 6, not even close to its power.

You? Lost
I have a feeling the people who are seething at people calling Ultra Necrozma hard are BW2gays who are upset that they can’t claim their game is as challenging.
Cool fight, sadly all my team countered it hard Muk, Magnezone, Tsareena, Snorlax, of my entire team only Araquanid and midnight Lycanrock had a bad matchup
/vp/'s inability to not be thieving bastards meant I didn't get filtered by it. Primarina and refresh bonuses kicked the shoit out of it without needing cheese along the lines of "zoro as PSY/toxic stall".
>buh-buh-buh the NUMBERS MASON
And my way involves role-playing as a real live frickwit in the pokémon world, bonding with his charges and treating them as individuals. Sorry you're autistic. Stick to showderp next time.
The other frickwits in the Pokemon world don't have their Pokemon miraculously survive at 1 HP every other battle. It's fine to play on easy mode, but don't pretend you used a strategy besides "I played on easy mode."

Now that you mention it, it would be something interesting if they decide to give the lucky 1 HP survival to the legendaries and pokemons from certain trainers like the gym leaders, your rivals and high ranking villain team members. >*rival's pokemon* toughed it out to not disappoint *your rival* >*legendary pokemon* should have fainted but refused to give up
Went into the fight completely blind, and curbstomped the thing first try with a Zoroark I just so happened to have with me. I've been genuinely confused by all the posts here claiming this was somehow supposed to be a tough fight.
I'm genuinely moronic for failing to see how a bunch of 30-something year old adults couldn't fudge their way through a battle designed to be beaten by literal children? Even if you were unprepared, there's no excuse for you getting filtered and throwing a tantrum over it; there was nothing difficult about the fight in the slightest, and if you truly think there was, then perhaps you're the one who's genuinely moronic.
Man my Zozoark was shit that it couldn't kill it within the 5 turns of it spamming the psychic move. At least without that the rest of my team could easily kill it. Gen 7 has the best challenges totems aside most trainers actually have ev trained pokemon in it I had to turn exp share back on somewhere in the middle
Next time, bring a Zoroark with foul play into the mix.
It turns out, using a move which uses your opponent's already boosted high attack stat makes the fight a bit easier.
Managed to break through it with a combination of Alolan Muk and Magnezone
It was fun having a battle in a modern Pokemon game that could properly frick you up if you weren't ready for the fight
I was playing blind so I lost 2 mons instantly before walling it with Mawile and Zoroark
Still thought it was pretty cool and fun. Wish there was more to the city you fight it in

Yeah, out of everything, this was kind of the biggest letdown of the new ultra-mechanics. If I'm not mistaken, the previous games did allow you to explore more freely, and even had lore bits for them, but I never played them.
For a city, the 8 or so buildings you see are kind of anti-climatic.

Literally my exact reaction

Raw panic. This was the first time in ages I've did a blind playthrough of a Pokemon game, and I only won out due to a fluke switch to my Zoroark.
