If you want some advice, Riot gun is shit, drop it for Striker, which is smaller and better. Sell magnum ammo (just upgrade capacity when you need more). Also dump these yellow herbs on Ashley, dunno how you got to mid-game with all these and a fully upgraded HP, new game?

Aside from my first playthrough, I've never upgraded my guns so I've got plenty of money and since I'm using up grenades more often, I usually have space for an RPG so I can quickly take down Garry or any of the bosses

If you don't upgrade guns, you straight up can't kill some of the bosses (unless you can knife all of them to death)
Besides, I've already beat them the legit way and I don't like dealing with some of them anyway.
I think the original HG is better than the blacktail if you fully upgrade it. That 5x headshot critical can save you a lot of ammo and give you a lot of cash.

Obvious answer: play the superior remake instead, and store whichever weapons you're not currently using.
Sell the rifle and ammo, get a bolt rifle later when you get rid of those yellow herbs if you still need to snipe.
