The venom shit is what gets me the most. Any time a successful non Eddie Brock Venom is brought up, it’s ALWAYS Flash Thompson, completely forgetting that Agent Venom and Venom are going for completely different things. We have DONE the experiments, we have done enough of these “non Eddie Brock” Venom stories, will writers just give it a rest already? It’s failed way more times than it’s EVER worked.
There's nothing inherently wrong with having Harry be Venom. I appreciate that they actually laid the framework for it in the first game. It was built up well and could have worked, but the problem is that Harry, like Peter, were both written to be these lame, weak, beta, wh*te "men". I think people dislike Harry in SM2 for the exact same reason that they dislike Harry - both were written in very unflattering ways

when they revealed they cut content for more MJ sections is when I gave up hope. Those parts could be used for fleshing out miles so he didn't feel useless or giving us 4 more moments to play venom instead of just 1. FRICKING WASTED

You defeat Vulture and Electro + Scorpion and Rhino at the same fricking time and they want us to be impressed that Kraven did it by locking them in a room alone? If he killed Mister Negative or Doc Ock sure that might be a little bit more impressive.

I know the devs don't really hate Spiderman but this game made me feel like they hate Spidey's fans.
All the attempts at diversity were utterly pathetic by the way. Pretending to be so knowledgeable about other cultures but hanging the wrong flag in Miles' room. Or their idea of BIPOC art being some incredibly soulless photoshop even a corporation would consider out of touch. Or the contexts of presenting black characters like gays or grafitti artists.
The devs know how to create a good Spiderman game but it seems like they have no intention of actually doing it. I regret giving my money to them.
