    Character-action games are rarely profitable to a degree that pleases a company. They suck investments like crazy and aren't even remotely a high-volume genre. DMCV is probably the only genuinely big successful one in the last decade.

    Square is also notoriously fricking dogshit at supporting their devs or making good decisions, so there's 0 doubt in my mind they fricked up and mishandled this game in a way that can't really be laid at the feet of Yoshitpiss entirely.

    It's like a 6.5/10.
