Its less about TEH JOOOOOOO nonsense and more that even that 100K package (which most games won't be using unless they're already huge) allows them to save on hiring CSRs if it works. They can replace 3-5 CSRs with a program that works 24 hours a day , doesn't need to get taxes taken out or even piddly corpo health care or 401K contributions etc and of course never b***hes about overtime, crunch, or unfair compensation ..so it adds up for execu-douches financially if the program meets the shittiest level of competency.
Atop this, they can claim that its SOPHISTICATED AI and therefore no appeals are needed as long as they can get away with it, and down the line when appeals are of course needed and the AI is proven to be shit, they can pass the buck that its someone else's fault and that Toxmod SpeechCrusher 2.1 was insufficient but now 2.2 is great etc. They can also go and claim that by using this they're making a SAFE SPACE for MARGINALIZED PEOPLE against TOXICITY so they can feel good about opening their checkbook and buying the next giant item mall abortion FOMO gacha shit that drops of course, and also gesture to parents and the like that they're WONT SOMEONE THINK OF THE CHILDREN-ing properly.
