He's a mystery meat mulatto but you have to go out of your way to see what he looks like and he never speaks. In this game the sheboon won't shut the frick up.
Didn't they do a 180 on the formula that made Subnautica 1 a success? With the more constrained narrow zones, the voiced MC, the increased focus on land sections, and removal of anything spooky?
The kicker is that the AI was done with the same TTS program used for the first game. They just used a different preset voice. They could've had options. They just didn't.
i fricking hate the focus on tunnels - how many dead ends there are mixed with the ridiculous fog effect. The first one worked because you could actually see a good distance in front of you, but frick if this game wants to make sure you can only see 10 feet. Sure, it's """immersive""" but god fricking damn it's annoying.
Also those stupid fricking leviathans in the crystal tunnels. Why would you make them so fricking aggressive, they're just a waste of time. I pretty much enjoyed the game as much as the first one until i went into those tunnels, then it quickly turned into a chore. The entire "endgame" is fricking bunk.
boring formulaic crap, they hit gold with whole deep diving with giant monsters thing, then threw it all away, for some half arsed story with cookie cutter characters.
one step forward, two steps back
there were some decent improvements over the original like the base building and (subjectively) the sea truck, but the map just wasn't as fun to explore. the only areas I loved were the icebergs and the fuzzy fungus area. also, the voiced protag sucked, I did like ALAN tho
I haven't played the first one but this game was alright. A lot of it towards the end was a stupid grind though, and I have no idea how I was supposed to find some stuff organically. The snow area with the giant centipede was annoying as frick with no discernable land marks, they really fricked up there.
I just never got around to it. I saw that the second one was recently released on gamepass and gave it a shot because I figured newer = better. I kind of got burned out on the game loop so I'll play the first one in a few months.
Women
>smaller map
>less interesting environments
>less interesting story
>less interesting creatures
>voiced MC
still havent even finished BZ to this day
this
the exploration was off too
also the soundtrack definitely was not as good, which is what made subnautica
Black folk
Isn't the guy in the first also

Black person mc
Below Zero gals...
Dev was afraid to cross boundaries, played it safe and dull

I watched some footage and the AI was a pajeet woman
Instantly passed

>same game as the first but with snow.
I liked the setting of the first game more.

Devs completely misinterpreted what made the first game a success

>plays the shittier one first
Probably a smart move. Though I'm wondering what your hold up is for playing the Subnautica 1, it's better in every way.

How fricking long can it possibly take to make an asset flip DLC?
post it
