women
they turned falloutslop into rick and mortyslop
Obsidian were lucky with the FNV
Can't blame Obsidian for this one. The publisher Take Two outsourced it to a third party studio.
>Can't blame Obsidian for this one.
It's everyone else's fault now? Obsidian fanboys are perpetually hurt.
I don't think the game was particularly good to start with but this new version was done by Virtuoso. The same studio that did the Horizon Zero Dawn PC port that was so bad initially Guerrilla had to step in to fix it.
>so bad initially Guerrilla had to step in to fix it.
The only good Killzone was the first one.
The female designs, what the fuck were they thinking
Chuds gaslighting everyone into thinking the game was bad when in reality the chuds were just triggered by the themes of the game which were also in FNV but chuds are stupid.
Im literally shaking rn
>gaslighting everyone into thinking the game was bad
No one thinks about this game or forms an opinion on it
You are just a dickless man, not a woman.
First world being the best and progressively getting worse, both character and story wise, planet to planet afterwards. Apparently they had different writers for each world that were given a general outline of the main story and that was a mistake, the first planet's writer should've been the head script creator
Love the game but agree that all the NPC dialogue from your companions is cringe so its best to play solo
It was fun playing an unhinged psychopath who just murders everyone. Word gets around and you can a reputation
Oh i know I'm doing a shovel knight run killing everything in sight
Them charging full price for a patch that makes the game worse is pretty funny
OBSIDIAN WITHOUT AN IO TO RUIN
They put all their eggs in one basket with the first world. Everything that came after fucking sucked. Also the women looked like fucking trash. Most of the player ally NPCs were fucking trash.
Level scaling
Thats it.
Fundamentally it felt like a fake open-world game. The actual amount of exploring you could do was a lot more limited relative to a Bethesda type of game and the rewards for exploring weren't as substantial.
There were a bunch of other issues as well including:
1. lack of enemy variety
2. weak companions
4. poor skill system
People don't understand Obsidian's MO. FNV was an outlier because they had the creation engine and FO3 to do the ground work. If you compare TOW to NWN2, you'll see that they're extremely similar in terms of content and tone, which runs strongly counter to FNV.
It was boring as shit and didn't excel at anything, the ultimate 6/10. I had no drive to play after reaching the space station after first map.
>no 3rd person
>you wouldn't want it anyway with how gay all the armors look
>Half-baked planets
>Zero armour options
>Companions are interesting
>Choices are either: psychopath corpo dick sucker or commie anti-captialism
You could tell it was a lower budget console game based on the lack of weapon/enemy variety, the menus, and the literal who publisher. I thought it was decent despite all that. I liked the twist toward the end, and the game does a good job balancing out the anti-corporatist themes with things like Monarch. The sequel might be better given that they have Microsoft money now.
I really wanted to like it but the writing was just one note; corporation bad. ok i get it
Couldnt get immersed
It was lacking in imagination, really just felt like a nu fallout game with a world inspired by borderlands
It's the most forgettable game ever made. I completed every quest and side quest and I literally cannot remember anything except for the blue haired guy, the ship AI, and the black commander lady, and I can't recall a single line they said.
Every time I see a thread about it, it takes me several seconds to remember I played it all the way through, like remembering a fever dream I had when I was a teen. I've never had a game do that to my brain before or since.
