Capcom barely promotes it despite it being one of the best games they ever made.

      Explain?

Nothing? It didn't need a remaster though, and probably got outshined by rain code
Especially the OST. It was fine before

I'm glad that it got a remaster because I probably wouldn't have been able to play it otherwise.

God I hate post-neo-nu-Ganker so much. Are you Black folk too moronic to emulate?

What's wrong with the OST?I think the remastered OST is very good. There's maybe two tracks where I prefer the original, the rest was remastered very well.

I'm no music expert so it's most likely a case of old good, new bad. I can't get used to the new songs
Too "boppy" perhaps would be my complaint?

Trauma is one of the best renditions
The others are hit or miss

I'm glad its not trapped on a dead console, but I still have my DS copy
Ghost Trick was never going to make a huge splash, especially in a year as crowded as this. I think itll be the kind of the thing like Ace Attorney where it generates a steady trickle of sales over the foreseeable future as more people discover it. Also $30 was way too much for it.

Who cares, there's nothing to gain from this selling well aside from maybe a useless sequel.

People who cared about this game, have already played years ago on Drastic or on their ds

Nothing. Perfect game that didn't need a switch remaster

Never had played it before, I liked it.
    OST was kino
Pity that the ending was rushed, but it was great nonetheless

Not enough differences to justify the price. If they want to do something with the property, make a spiritual successor.

  12. 11 months ago

30$ for an old DS game.
    Also it's not God Hand.
And they didn't promote it almost at all.

The remaster? It's an incredible lazy remaster. They didn't even make it wide-screen, never mind having variable aspect ratios, or even information on the pillarboxing. It's still Ghost Trick though so worth it.

I didn't even know there was a remaster, I thought this was a thread about the ds version

I'm sad I got the major end twists spoiled for me
I'd have been blown away otherwise

That kinda does suck yeah. I'd argue that, for how short the game is, knowing the twists largely makes experiencing it pointless.

nothing? It's literally a flawless masterpiece.

ghost trick is a game that 10% of the playerbase bought and 90% pirated. the remaster is just a chance to purchase a version if the game that runs natively on modern systems.

Yeah, I bought the remaster to do what my child self couldn't do 12 years ago

Released waaay too late, had they released it in 2017 or 2018 things would’ve gone better. But no, let’s release this shit in the midst of this massive competition going on.
Also, zero marketing didn’t help either.
