it was fun to watch, specially when you really had to practice links, today with SF 5/6 you can watch whatever pro combo and mimick within 5-10 minutes.
i would always try to do those smugs dudley combo but it was hard as balls on training cant imagine in a real match.
It turned a bad coin flip game (sf5) into a bad 4-sided dice roll game. The s5 of sf5 team knew what made THAT game fun and came up with cool ideas on how to punch up a bad system (Dan’s meter abuse, Akira’s aerial stuff, Oro’s hilarious bullshitery) but not what makes STREET FIGHTER itself fun. So when they were tasked with making sf6, they only iterated on 5.
“Ok. What if everyone had Ryu and Gil’s Perry and everyone has Kolin’s neutral skip! And then we make a giant gay menu and call it an open world adventure!”
Worse is the post launch support has been all incredible expensive skins for your donut steel character, and season 1 of characters that no one is particularly charged to use.
You're overthinking it. They just looked at what Neversoft Studios was doing that they didn't and placed high relevance on ignorant newcomers. They went as far as making a half assed character creator that made shitty MMOs look refined.
You could rip JP from SF6 and toss him into Injustice 2 and he'd adhere to the meta flawlessly. WIth the removal of close range normals that SFV entered with the series is trying to find it's way into child's minds. They called the simplified control style "Modern" that's dedication to abandoning as many concepts as required to catch an audience unlike the one it currently has following it. Look I understand it's called Parry, but the purpose of it was to give people the block button Street Fighter has avoided for decades.
When are people going to realize that Capcom's management is completely incompetent? They only turn out truly great games when no one in corporate is paying any attention and has already written off the title like what happened with RE7
People have been seeing that recently with the Enigma DRM controversy. It seems like we have a "Capcom Cycle" where they rotate between heroes and villains every few years, and we are entering another one of their heel turns
>and we are entering another one of their heel turns
Reminder that all the ecelebs and shills claiming Capcom were on their “redemption arc” is when all the leaks occurred when Capcom was internally planning on going full ESG and making plans to stamp out “socially dangerous mods.” They never stopped being shit from their last heel turn. They’ve only gotten worse.
I remember when all of Capcom's upcoming games were leaked and they have SF6 and then 1-2 years later already had SF6: Turbo planned. Frick them Japanese israelites
For modern fighting games, "X Edition" just means they'll bundle all currently existing DLC into one package, but whichever version you decide to buy will be the same game at its base. This isn't like the old days where a new game edition meant you had to buy it otherwise you'd get locked out of its player base and balance changes.
Good Street Fighter >introduces new character >unique, innovative, fresh >never ever shows up again have to play old games to feel the spark
Bad Street Fighter >introduces new character >it's just a clusterfrick of fan favorites combined into a single character no one wants >none of those fan favorites characters will be in the roster
It doesn't even cater to Japan they just got lucky that the only professional video game player anybody in the country could think of when they found out about gaijins and their "esports" was Daigo so whatever crap Capcom shits out is automatically considered a major esports game comparable to Valorant and Apex.
>shit neutral >mechanic heavy rather than character driven >style over substance everywhere >still poorly balanced >new characters that rip the moveset from the old, making the old pointless and unlikely to show up later >focus on stupid world tour/avatar battle bullshit >netcode still ass >barely even plays like street fighter
Putting in a mechanic that fricks people unless they only use the few moves that can cancel into it in neutral is a weird move when your movelist is already small as frick.
Haven't played in a month or two but I'm looking forward to ed, looks very cool. I really should play a little so I can unlock the school blazer from the battle pass.
It sold better than any other Street Fighter so people had to come up with more and more moronic explanations for how it and the rest of the genre is actually dead
The best way to get better at hit confirming is to call it out in your brain. If you think someone is going to do something, try and punish them for it. Not only will you be ready to confirm the combo the more you do it the easier the combo will be to confirm.
Bro are you serious the window is long as frick way, and you only need to do one forward input the first one can be buffered

>you buffer it
Damn.... that sounds like it feels bad. Having to always do a forward input in each attack i do looking out for the hit.
Some attacks you can hit confirm by watching what the opponent is doing at the moment you press the button. If you see Bonchan, for example, you notice he often confirms Luke's standing LK on a counter hit into drive rush cancel. It has to be a confirm, because LK is a light button and you can't buffer Drive Rush with those.

MP+MK is the input for Parry. You can cancel attacks into DR by pressing it. They updated the game with this feature months ago.

Well, I used to have the L1 and L2 buttons as 3 Ps and 3 Ks in SFV. Now I have those assigned for Parry and DI, respectively. It just took some time for me to get used to it.

That's only necessary for doing raw Drive Rush.
To cancel an attack into DR, you just have to press the parry macro. That's it. This was a pretty early QoL update. I'm surprised some people still don't know about it.

Capcom in general is being really slow with updates, not to mention that major balance patches will only happen like once per season. At the very least, you can expect these sorts of QoL and polish updates happening each time there's a character or content release. For example, one big complaint people had was the input buffering for reversals after recovery. They improved on that at the same time when they released Oufits 3 for the main roster.
So there's probably going to be another update like that when Ed comes out. I still hope to see many technical issues fixed myself.

>The only ones who care about SF6 is Japan. Which is ironic since this game was made for the west.
Japan is getting more and more influenced by degenerate western "culture. I can't think of a bigger cuck nation, considering what a rich culture and traditions they have of their own, but choice to worship the ones who nuked them twice.
If you paid for a $60 or $70 game, you're paying for a complete audiovisual experience. That includes the music. You shouldn't have to mute the music if it's bad. The game developer should put GOOD music in the game instead.
Gameplay was a big step up from 5, but it doesn't matter since the roster fricking SUCKS. All the newcomers look awful and whoever is in charge of designing hair for characters needs to go back to working at Arby's.
>make setup/rushdown hybrid character >worse rushdown character >setups are limited because sprays outside the corner are moronicly expensive and just not very good in the corner without out 50 layers of mind games (that often lose to parrying)
it went wrong when they nerfed the only character i liked after the beta and left her like that for a year
absolutely mind boggling that kimberly doesnt have a low forward special cancel. its pretty much necessary to compete in this ape ass game so you can convert into drive rush.
>kimberly gets everything that made her fun in the beta gutted from run stop pressure to teleports >basically everyone who mained her dropped her after a month >further nerf using her by not letting you use her level 3 to frick crossups under the guise of a bug fix because frick having any good defensive options
my body is ready for the yearly patch to just be the most garbage ass changes no one asked for. i dont even care about playing anymore
no anon not based. you do a yearly patch when youre sure the game is relatively balanced. the same exact characters have been running this game since morons were saying "its only a month old tiers will change"
I think if they shortened it to every 6-8 months they could keep the stability they're clearly looking for in game balance and still address obvious problems. Like, halfway between Capcom cups.
no fighting game has ever been releases in a better shape and as balances as SF6. is your idea of balance all characters having same frame data and tool options? if not then having characters which are considered top tier will always exist no matter what. why not make it fun for yourself and others play low tier characters and get as good as you can with them? I personally find that really fun.
Anonymous
No but I think having the balance patch be bi-annual would alleviate certain complaints the community has built up. I love the game, but there are still changes I wish could have happened before EVO, some character specific, some universal. For example, I wish they'd widen the frame window for drive impacts to clash, as there have been multiple instances where it was obvious my opponent and I had the same idea, but because he input just a little later, his drive impact won.
Season 1 DLC was the worst in recent memory. The moment people saw the lineup of next characters they immediately started looking forward to other games like Tekken

SFVI is total zoomer trash. KOF still looks like its made for people and not homosexuals.
I don't give a shit about EVO, if your game only exists to be a EVO game then it's not a game people are wanting to play; It just becomes more work. SF6 as a VIDEO GAME PACKAGE is fricking garbage.
NTA, but holy shit, you're dumb. If people didn't want to play SF6, then it would naturally be reflected in the number of its EVO entrants and other tourneys.
It's s pretty shitty investment when you have to travel and pay for all your expenses to be present at a major tournament with an extremely low chance of winning anything. 98% of the people signing up for a stacked tournament like EVO know that.

MK1 is closer to what you're referring to, and it's a stark contrast with SF6's thriving and healthy state. By every metric that isn't a cynical echo chamber of random secondaries that pretend to play games like Ganker, SF6 is doing more than fine. I hate many things about the way this game is balanced, but morons like you only poison the well against valid criticism with your delusional wishful thinking that the game would simply fail.
Kof was dead sense day 1.
The nonfunctional online matchmaking killed it.
I had an easier time finding games in Soul Calur when it had sub 300 players online than KOF when it had 3000.
And this shit didn't work for over a year.
I haven't had the need to look for matches since I play with both irl friends and steam friends
that should be true for any fighting game but I've only done it for kof XIII and XV
if there were no mind games involved then drive rush would be useless. you could make this exact complain about any other mechanic such as grap or jump ins.
Drive system is shit, the game is nailed to it, so it's not an easy fix. >drive impact
Mostly useless beyond bronze. One of the first things you learn to react to. So at higher levels you just don't see this period, unless it's guaranteed because of burnout, or some desperation random move. Pointless to have. >drive rush
Worst offender. It is all of neutral. There is no point playing traditional footsies for most of the cast when you can just slime in and either be plus (at worst) or get a big combo. Even the highest level of players can't react to DR jab 100% of the time even if that's the only thing they are looking for. It's also risk adverse. It's the safest and strongest option, and boils the game down to "both players stand out of button range and have a wild west duel to who will slime first". it also makes the game feel very samey, you are always approaching with this. Every character is, leading to 90% of the cast feeling similar. What's that characters gameplan and strengths? Oh he wants to slime in and pressure you and get you to corner. How unique. >drive reversal
It's an okay tool to use sparingly, the only issue is you'd rather save your meter for more slime rushes. Also it's punishable on block, which reduces it's usage. >parry
Parry is a bad mechanic, and I'm tired of Turd Strike gays pretending otherwise. It infects a host of other parts of this game. Why are there throw loops? Well they need them to balance the literal 50/50 of wake up parry. >EX moves being tied to drive guage
This leads to everyone using level 3 supers since there is no use for super meter outside of that. You'll see a level 3 probably every set you ever play, from both players. >burnout
I get the idea, but it sucks in execution too. If you are on offense you are winning, and not only that but you are gaining back all the meter you are spending for pressure and sliming, letting you keep winning. Burnout = autoloss against a lot of characters like JP.
It's a cancer.
Honestly the only things i hate about VI is drive rush. At the least punishing it should lead in to counter hit or crumple.
Ot make neutral drive rush cost more than a single bar. Honestly Neural should cost 2 bars and cancel should cost 4 but refund 1 bar if you land a hit so blocking it is more rewarding.
>So at higher levels you just don't see this period, unless it's guaranteed because of burnout, or some desperation random move. Pointless to have.
God I wish this was true. I'm in Diamond and I still see random drive impacts thrown out in neutral.
Name one SF game that was perfectly balanced and universally loved by everyone in its first Revision.
Even SFV that most people hated was considered a good game by the time the championship edition update came out.
If anything VI is the best first revision of all the SF games.
Street shitter is too casual and the inputs are way too simple. Hopefully more kids (not Sooners) play teller 8 instead. Always support good games instead.
Always been more of a Tekken fan but I would count Third Strike as one of my favorite games ever. Have had more than my fair share of fun with other Capcom fighters, too, Street Fighter or otherwise. I think 6 is great. Everyone on here pretends to be a high-level player, and I'm sure some people on here are serious, but mostly this reads to me like a bunch of bad players getting mad when they get out-foxed by someone who is using Drive Rush or Modern controls.
never forget until this day the achievement percentage of those who have over 300 won matches in SFV is at like 0.2% percent, and even less for the achievement for reaching gold league, which is easy af. homosexuals here dont play fighting games.
>what if we gave defensive keep out zoner the ability to become a rushdown character
i stand by my decision that drive mechanics should have been archetype based at the very least
slurm (drive rush) is one of the worst mechanics ive ever fricking seen in a fighting game. its insane how heat, tekkens equivalent, isnt even all that great and is still 1000 times more balanced and designed than drive rush
If it's all luck, can you explain how the same players consistently reach the top ranks and are able to compete for a lot of money? Also, why didn't you participate in Evo? Are you going to Capcom Cup?
you mean the top players that have admitted the game is random as frick. and yeah, they are probably better at conditioning and guessing but at the end of the day if you have been following the competitive scene, I don't see how you can not agree with me. how are people like Punk still not qualified for the CPT despite being top 5 in the world at the game?
There's a large mental stack, but you're placing way, way too much weight on randomness. Again, if it were as random as you suggest, the same players who've been at top ranks for years in SF wouldn't be so consistently at top ranks in SF6. That's just basic math. >they are probably better at conditioning and guessing
That's called reading. It's something that high level players do in any game. You literally sound like DSP when he gets read lmfao

reading only works when your opponent respects you. it's different online. I can neutral skip whenever I feel like it and just randomly toss a coin on what I'm gonna do, except this this game it's not even 50/50, I'm drawing from fat deck of options. yeah, try reading that. at least they had the decency to be generous with ex reversal resources in this game.

man I'm trying to play aki not even to master, just mid-ish diamond. I've done it with chun, deejay, luke and marisa and playing aki is like getting slapped in the face after all these privileged top tiers were kissing my cheek and tucking me in every game. This is the most valid opinion in the thread.
Anonymous
I feels you. I did find getting to masters with aki way easier than it was with jamie, personally. guess liking a character a lot helps soothe the gapping.
I'm sorry to break it to you anon, but people who waste hundreds and thousands of hours on the same game don't tend to be the most rational people. Pro players are ALWAYS calling their game random as frick in every game (when they lose). >how are people like Punk still not qualified for the CPT despite being top 5 in the world at the game?
Because he had to come first in one of like 3 tournaments? CPT's moronic format is not proof the game itself is bad.
I also disagree, and I think its important to understand most people on here don't really know what they're talking about. I'm only in mid-diamond so I'm not amazing by any means, and I'm sure theres master rank players or better on here who don't like the game too, so you can't always draw a straight line between 'bad at the game' and 'bitching about the game' BUT, when people do explicitly state their rank along with their complaints, you get a better understanding of where they're coming from. Which is often The Scrub Zone
I enjoy the game, but I only play it occasionally from time to time instead of daily like many active players. However, when I do play it more actively, I cannot deny that I slowly develop gripes with the game, my main ones being >Poking into DRC
as it is, the reward from cancelling your poke into a drive rush cancel far outweights the risks, making it pretty much the best option in every situation, except when you are at a risk of burnout, and even then, it can be worth it if you are at a significant life lead. On block, you get a free mix that also leads into another +ob mix since the drive rush buffs the button you press, and on hit, it guarantees an easy hit confirm. This becomes especially draining against characters with a cancelable cr.mk. >PP
I have a bit of a love-hate relationship with perfect parry. On one hand, I enjoy it for allowing for more interesting specials, even if some consider them neutral skips, and for bringing an element of uncertainty into offense. On the other hand, that element can also be very frustrating as perfect parry is currently a fairly risk free option to use while blocking, as the attacker has to pretty much read it and go for a throw instead of continuing their blockstring. >Lvl3
At this point, I've started to believe that how supers work is an intentional design, but for the majority of the cast level 3s are by far the most efficient use of super meter, while level 1s are 2s are mainly for guaranteed kills or the occasional yolo reversal. As a result, most players sit on their meter until the second or final round, making said rounds very volatile with easy hit confirms leading into big damage and fast snowballing. Special level 2s like Blanka's, Rashid's and JP's might be frustrating to play against, but at least they bring some variety into meter usage. >t. Master rank
>As a result, most players sit on their meter until the second or final round, making said rounds very volatile with easy hit confirms leading into big damage and fast snowballing.
I do this as a diamond player but I mostly figured that I was scrubby as shit for it.
Though I think it's also character specific, I see Chuns hitting level 2 all the time.
>I've started to believe that how supers work is an intentional design
Obviously.
The whole system is set up so morons genuinely can fraud wins though the majority of ranked. I'm talking the people hardstuck in silver/gold/plat/etc. It sounds like a generic scrub complaint but it's genuinely true. The game was built so people could do random shit, fraud one round, then win the second round in two interactions due to lvl 3. It cuts the time players have to react to the opponent's gimmicky playstyle massively down, meaning even morons are guaranteed *some* wins even if they're losing overall.
All this plays into bo3 matchmaking being a fricking terrible format regardless, but you know.
>games is balanced for most players instead of the top 2% of weirdos
that's good man.

I don't disagree in principle, but the problem is that it's balanced poorly around the majority. Frauding random wins in ranked isn't truly enjoyable and won't maintain a long term playerbase the same way creating a game actually enjoyable for the whole playerbase will.
For all the shit people gave Strive, it did a very good job of making the game resemble the real game at every skill level, while maintaining a huge gap between beginner/intermediate/high skill players. Even something like Tekken which is famous for its knowledge checks is less extreme about how quick and fraudulent its intermediate ranked play is.

When the super arts got introduced in Tekken 7 I did not like them on principle but I've gotten over them. I don't think there's such a thing as losing or winning "fraudulently". The other day I had a Panda in Tekken 8 cheese the frick out of me. That was on me though, to learn my character more and learn what to do. In the first few weeks (months?) of SF6 the complaining about modern controls shitters was outrageous, when those players are just as easily managed as classic control players. If a slightly better player loses to a slightly worse player from some new mechanic or element of cheese, that is onus to do something better or differently. Learn yer matchups, and all that.

Way to completely miss the point of what I'm saying.
Fighting games are full of cheesy tactics which are high in raw strength and require specific responses. I am not complaining about this, it's just a fact. It is up to the other player to adapt and deal with these tactics, and that is fine.
The problem comes with reducing the number of interactions in a ranked set, such that it becomes easy to win at least *a* game with play that's extremely poor in the context of winning a set overall. Especially if like in SF6's case, where this fact was intentionally designed into the game, at the cost of making the game actually enjoyable for the majority of mid-level players and at the cost of making high level sets short and overly volatile. For example, as was mentioned earlier in the reply chain, designing lvl 3 supers to be this strong has rendered lvl 1 (and most lvl 2) supers very weak inherently and almost always a misplay to use.
Additionally, it even more heavily incentivizes gimmicky play for the bulk of players who don't know any better, which reduces the enjoyment of everyone. It's like a psychological trick within the context of ranked matchmaking. There's always going to be players trying to force gimmicks and knowledge checks etc, but it is far more common in SF6 than other games despite it not even being strong.
Tekken 7 rage arts aren't the same thing; you don't store bar across multiple rounds to get one nearly-free round win. They're a constant option without opportunity cost. Plus in general a game of Tekken is Bo5 rounds which reduces volatility massively.

level 1s and 2 are meant to be a get off me reversal or match closer at the end of a combo instead of being for damage. everything else you said can be wavered off as nonsense and irrelevant. enjoying fighting games comes down to how willing you are to put up with the inherently cheeses and bs strategies that is every single one of them has. maybe you should move on and play another game ir genre as a whole.
curious to what fighting game you would consider the pinnacle of balanced characters and system. but never mind, youll most definitely just give some ridiculous moronic answer and stick to
it for the sake of shit posting.

I have moved on to other fighting games, just like everyone else is moving on one by one. Sophistry about "just deal with it lol" is meaningless at the best of times, as if there aren't good and bad fighting games.
Moreover, I never said I couldn't deal with anything, I said it its super meter system was designed around this kind of interaction in mid level games. It's obviously something that players can get past with skill, but the design intent was to create limited numbers of easy wins for low and mid level players in ranked. This creates a system which is not enjoyable for the majority of its playerbase and leaves a crippled, half-baked super system at all levels of play. You've not said anything that even attempts to argue against this.
And if you're going to cope about lvl 1 being actually useful you could at least point to it being a DI breaking burnout reversal.
Anonymous
NTA, but Supers can also be used to drain you opponent's drive meter. Even if you don't put them in burnout straight away, leaving their resources close to depletion will only take a couple more hits to put them in burnout, even if they block.
That's not to mention the utility of Super installs (Guile, Blanka, fricking RASHID lvl 2 is not useful? Get real), side-switching, countering projectiles, corner carry, etc.
Lvl 3s and CAs do in fact too much damage, making comebacks a likely occurrence in many circumstances. But to argue other Supers aren't useful is just plain ignorance. Either that, or you're just playing some character that is not well balanced.

If that were true people besides tryhard trannies and Leffen would still be playing
It's important that everyone understands your posts come from a black ape that failed junior high school and places all of his self worth in putting up with shitty video games because they have a brand name on them.
Sure grandpa, SF6 is getting a yearly patch just like your old arcade games got yearly refreshes.
And look how much everyone loves it! Isn't SF6 in a great state?
The game's player retention hasn't been great and everywhere I go I see nothing but complaints. >You can have gripes and complaints about a game you enjoy.
Like it having a terrible patching paradigm that is completely out of pace with how games are played in the modern era?
sf6 is in a great state. everyone on here will sob and gnash their teeth over culture warrior obsessions from the moment the game was announced to whenever the next one comes out. Its balanced well and plays great for the first iteration of a mainline sf and only the wretched slew of zoomers are bamboozled that a videogame would dare to intentionally hold off on putting out a balance patch every two weeks.
They catered the game to casuals. A good fighting game should reward you for having balls and being aggressive. But every time I try to be aggressive in SF6 I get punished. So the game basically rewards you for being a low T b***h which I guess fits with the whole theme of the game but still
>pee pee poo poo haha pee pee poo poo you cant refute pee pee poo poo I accept your concession pee pee poo poo
I for one long for the time when this world is swallowed by the earth and the seas along with all you homosexuals.
stop being parasites.
>Just grab some sweaty dude
Shitter detected. I play fighting games to kick ass, not cuddle. I never have to grab in Tekken and I'm gliding through ranked.
>pee pee poo poo haha pee pee poo poo you cant refute pee pee poo poo I accept your concession pee pee poo poo
I for one long for the time when this world is swallowed by the earth and the seas along with all you homosexuals.
stop being parasites.
Maybe, maybe not. The game currently lacks characters from 3, so I would expect at least one in season 2. Season 1 DLC also has no charge characters (unless Capcom completely overhauls Akuma), so I would expect one in season 2 also.
I just want Alex back. That's all I ask for. Been using him since TvC and I hated what they did with my guy in 5. At least 6 has a chance to not only fix him, but give him new options and moves. Also if Alex does make the roster at all, PLEASE Capcom for the love of frick make his headbutt back standing HP again! Having it as a charge move like air stampede was moronic and one of the biggest call outs in 5.
Drive Rush in neutral was an absolute mistake, one that cannot be fixed easily since it's such a core mechanic
Also the monetisation is absolute ass. It had one of the best launch for a FG ever, but the post-launch is just depressing
I'm kinda hype for Ed (only dlc character I'll get) but after that I think I'm gonna do the same thing as with SF5 and just wait a few years until there's an updated version with 3-4 seasons of additional characters with all their costumes unlocked. Frick getting nickel and dimed for years, got too much other shit to play to stick around
Not enough objectification of Chun li and her horse legs. Her thighs should be front and center in all the menus.
Where is the game mode where chunnie has to shake her oversized thighs in public for chip change!?
Why isnt her stories about getting her thighs groped and humped constantly with obvious undertones that she is guilty. Or her having to work as entertainment at a birthday party where shotas swarm her motherly body???
How come they dont give you the option to ridicule her for her swole sexy thighs when you talk to her. And demand thighjobs from her? Not even an option to draw attention to the fact that she has the fattest breasts in SF as a mere afterthought since all her attention is on her shameful lowerbody.
Not even a dress up minigame where she has to squeeze into the other female fighters clothes only for her lowerbody to be way to meaty leading to indecent scenes with her.
Why does no one refer to her as a MARE ingame when that is the clear concensus on her character!? Oh and on that note how could they not have scenarios where miss mare pose suggetively with horses along with a mini game where she has to clean stallions huh, i mean come on. Its like they wanted it to bomb.
Ugly characters mixed with coom bait to both disuade people from wanting to keep playing while attracting drooling morons who won't long-term support your game
Street Fighter is known for its fundamental neutral; you jump if you want to move forward fast, anti-air beats this, fireball beats turtling. This has anime dashes to move forward on the floor faster than jumping and parries to trivialize fireballs; its basically not SF
Full priced game with a day 1 FTP style grind ticket
And planned DLC
Mary sue OC main character too bland to get attached to
Char creator allowed enough freedom to allow morons to make 'funny' characters, so 9/10 oc's are walking potatos with downs
at least they kept the character creator in a dead game mode. I hate how it's forced in Tekken. that shit is fricking annoying and I want it to stop being a thing in fighting games.
Oh yea that reminds me.
Wasted tons of time on the mary suevitar shit then added levels to it making it not fun to fight people with because you can fight a guy with like 5 x your hp just because he wasted more of his life than you did
I don't see myself listening to this track outside of the game, but it's undeniably superior and more authentic compared to his SFV theme. Also, both Ed's theme and AKI's are infinitely better than most other character themes in SF6. Hopefully Capcom tries to keep up producing actual music rather than a collection of sounds with barely any layering or direction.
I belonged nowhere, a passenger without a boarding pass
I sold mixtapes out of my gym bag
Click click, paper and pen became a murder weapon
In every soul there's a king and a coward
You have to decide, are you a lion or a pig today
Will I free myself from the constraints within me until I'm free
or will I listen to the choirs that only complain, doubt me
And yes, success naturally requires timing
but when the chance arrives, I swear I'm ready
I visualize how I kill and attack
How I spit and massacre and then roar like a Viking
Let go of the traumas now, they mocked me as a child
But I let go, I'm not angry with them anymore, I forgive them
Only in battle do I make them cry terribly
Like a sharp katana, you feel the words penetrate you
This is a message to my former self
The future is the big fear, but please don't be afraid
Each of their words, it stings and burdens you
But rest assured, their light will soon go out shortly
And sure, I'm afraid, the thought of it
failing tightens my whole mind
So I don't wait long - because I grow from it
I broke through this wall and I start the fight!
-Uninspired bland music so they can have their in-game announcers talk over the match (no one uses this feature as far as I can tell)
-Some truly nauseating character designs; Kimberly and Lily especially.
-The engine can not handle shadows at a distance properly and you get all sorts of visual dithering on most maps and any kind of transparent clothing. (AKI is the worst offender of this)
-Ridiculous prices for their DLC but people actually pay for it so what do I know.
If it's not one guy then it's the same couple of schizo discord butt buddies that have been shitposting for months. I've seen a lot of the exact same posts itt on sfg from an anon that has unironically declared jihad on sf6. Most of the people who actually play are too old to spend time every day on moronic v gamewars. I just filter it since he uses the same buzzwords every time.
SF6 is just awful to look at and listen to. Art style is off putting and character models vary in quality like V. And Jesus chrithe OST is fricking horrid.
Try not to let it bother you so much. The whole world is in a terrible state. I can't imagine how much of a little shit I'd be if I grew up these days.
Have you considered maybe you are a hugbox schizo homosexual (emphasis on the homosexual part)
Are you saying that sfg isn't a complete trashfire?
i dunno man, after 4 and 5 i just feel i ran out of steam. have barely 100 hours in 6 and i got it on release. in 4 and 5 i probably had nearly 500h to 600h or more. guess i just burned out, but even after several months long breaks i just feel no desire to even turn it on
Honestly, the music, and lack luster impact animations.
The music isn't just "ok" it is actively bad. It's the most uninspired music I've heard in a game in a long long time. And this is a fricking problem when the visual themes of the game are so tied into hip hop. The animations are also fricked, the way non super attacks land looks like the characters aren't even hitting each other as the models just overlap. This can be fine if there are other animation to make up for it but there isn't. Fricking street fighter 3rd strike at least emphasizes the spot that is hit. It sucks because it's easily the best online experience of any fighting game yet.
post launch support
They nailed the launch but everything after has been meh.
The DLC characters are all shit, everyone is just waiting for Akuma
Every collab and in game event they promote ends up being for the avatar shit no one really cares about
Also having zero balance patches for an entire year. I get that this is an intentional design philosophy they're trying but it makes the game dry as frick when nothing else new is coming either.
They would have made so much bank just giving it to Chun. They designed so much monetization around the avatars while ignoring the meat of the game and I dont get it. I always forget this game has a battle pass too cause it only unlocks shit for your avatar.
I am yet to make an avatar. I only use the part that has training and ranked.
Nobody likes the avatars outside of battlehub shitposting that was fun for about a week. Even people that like World Tour and single player content would have preferred playing as the actual characters because the interactions with your goofy avatar and the actual SF characters are so fricking boring and stupid, whereas interactions between the characters themselves would have been way more interesting.
what a nauseating image
>Street Fighter
>You don't fight streets
They took mechanics everyone loved from SF4 and instead of just porting them over they fricked with and ruined them
Also the music is fricking terrible
Capcom's internal teams don't turn out good fighters, it's always DIMPS. When they refuse to use DIMPS they put out trash.
dimps also made five which sucked a fat dick for several years before it was good. I'm glad they decided to make this one in house, personally
>DIMPS made 5
No, DIMPS made 4. 5 was made in-house same as Marvel Infinite. IIRC DIMPS just did some asset work on 5.
And what did everyone love about SF4?
Idk but i always liked how the neutral was played in 4, aside from ultras i think a similar game without it would be fun
it was fun to watch, specially when you really had to practice links, today with SF 5/6 you can watch whatever pro combo and mimick within 5-10 minutes.
i would always try to do those smugs dudley combo but it was hard as balls on training cant imagine in a real match.
SF4gays should be hung in the public square. Move the frick on homie.
Reminder that Guy, Zeku and Maki will never be added to the game because of this goblin.
They're almost always the least fav of the game their in so its no lost.
>They're almost always the least fav of the game their in so its no lost.
pretty much everything. theres literally nothing well made in this game, its almost entirely outsourced to indians
>4-sided dice roll game
Is it even possible to make a 4 sided die? moron.

The worst Season 1 DLC package in FGC history
It's aesthetics filtered out the white people, it's gameplay filtered out the select few mexicans and black dudes who suck.
MTX Live Service sloppa shouldn't be in a fighting game

more games should cater only to japan and not mutts lol
It doesn't even cater to Japan they just got lucky that the only professional video game player anybody in the country could think of when they found out about gaijins and their "esports" was Daigo so whatever crap Capcom shits out is automatically considered a major esports game comparable to Valorant and Apex.

How the frick people react to the hit confirm into drive rush? The window is way too tight.
You don't actually do the input on impact. You buffer it so when your move does hit you do the next move. Like c.mk into hadoken.
>you buffer it
Damn.... that sounds like it feels bad.
And by the way,
>Having to always do a forward input in each attack
You can bind Parry/Drive Rush into a single button.
>You can bind Parry/Drive Rush into a single button.
I guess you're talking about the cheatbox?
Yeah. The cheating DualSense controller exclusively for the Ps5
I'm talking about arcade stick not having more than 8 buttons. Only the cheatbox have more and pad ofc having R3 and L3 that i guess you're talking about binding one of those to that (?)
Even with 8 buttons you get to bind two extra buttons to do whatever.
Oh yeah that's true but i thought those buttons always are binded to DI and parry....
I play on pad. I'm literally just talking about game's binds. You can tap a single button to cancel attacks into DR.
NTA, but I didn't know this. How?
MP+MK is the input for Parry. You can cancel attacks into DR by pressing it. They updated the game with this feature months ago.
Well, I used to have the L1 and L2 buttons as 3 Ps and 3 Ks in SFV. Now I have those assigned for Parry and DI, respectively. It just took some time for me to get used to it.
so i just press the parry macro but still need to press the forward two times? That's what you're talking about?
>press the parry macro but still need to press the forward two times?
That's only necessary for doing raw Drive Rush.
To cancel an attack into DR, you just have to press the parry macro. That's it. This was a pretty early QoL update. I'm surprised some people still don't know about it.
Damn...how early? I played on release and like 3 weeks and didnt know about it
Probably a few days, maybe a week after you stopped. lmao
https://www.eventhubs.com/news/2023/jul/18/alternate-inputs-drive-rush-sf6/
Damn. Thats sad. One of the reasons i dropped the game was the cancel. Guess ill give it a shot again.
dont. stay out, homosexual
I still hope to see many technical issues fixed myself.
dont worry about it. stay out, homosexual

Correct. They even gave Ryu a western boxing stance when he's in burnout. He's meant to be a JAPANESE karate man btw.
How tf is that a boxing stance?
He's just tired.
the philly shell is the ideal defensive stance even a karateka like ryu knows this
Because you're thinking of boxers using their "stereotypical" conventional and high guards, that's the philly shell guard.

Master, waiting for Ed now.
Genuinely, for anyone complaining about the music, how do you not mute the soundtrack in literally every FG you play and just put on your own music?
You type like a queer.
Answer the question.
The ost sets the tone. The soundtracks that I put on when I mute the game are from other fighting games with good music.
If you paid for a $60 or $70 game, you're paying for a complete audiovisual experience. That includes the music. You shouldn't have to mute the music if it's bad. The game developer should put GOOD music in the game instead.
I actively listen to Tekken music in the gym. I genuinely love Tekken's music.

>setups are limited because sprays outside the corner are moronicly expensive and just not very good in the corner without out 50 layers of mind games (that often lose to parrying)
it went wrong when they nerfed the only character i liked after the beta and left her like that for a year
absolutely mind boggling that kimberly doesnt have a low forward special cancel. its pretty much necessary to compete in this ape ass game so you can convert into drive rush.
she has a ridiculous good standing mid kick, mid punch cancel and her drive rush low mid kick more than makes up for that.
Snake eyez is in Capcom cup with zangief though.
even the worst grapplers make up for being low tier in being fraudulent. remember how people think manon is bad?
She's very bad, her medals/ throw aren't strong enough.
>kimberly gets everything that made her fun in the beta gutted from run stop pressure to teleports
>basically everyone who mained her dropped her after a month
>further nerf using her by not letting you use her level 3 to frick crossups under the guise of a bug fix because frick having any good defensive options
my body is ready for the yearly patch to just be the most garbage ass changes no one asked for. i dont even care about playing anymore
>the yearly patch
lmao, based crapcom
no anon not based. you do a yearly patch when youre sure the game is relatively balanced. the same exact characters have been running this game since morons were saying "its only a month old tiers will change"
I honestly forget cans exist. Think only time I have ever used one was on a stunned opponent for the combo.
Season 1 DLC was the worst in recent memory. The moment people saw the lineup of next characters they immediately started looking forward to other games like Tekken
I love the drive system.
Ed is cool now, so it's alright
>All the hype grifters have wandered away leaving SF6 a skeleton i knew it would be
My my what a completely unexpected surprise that no one had any idea was gonna happen.
>buying fighting games for full price
every homosexual deserves this outcome and a dead game. Real gangstas still play sf5 until they fix sf6
>The game i dont like is dead because i say so!
>What do you mean you find matches instantly online.
>I disregard your statement because it does not fit my ideal made up narrative.
Nice Skeleton bro.
IF SFVI is a skeleton then what is KOF?
Dead and buried, but at least the game's still pleasing to look at unlike that ghoul in the OP.
It literally looks and animates like a early ps3 game whit slightly better shaders.
I dont play fighting games to look at them i play them to actually play them.
And arguably SFVI looks better if you are not a weeb coomer.
>And arguably SFVI looks better if you are not a weeb coomer.
You don't like street fighter then, thanks for outing yourself.
nice art. sfvi is full of them and I find it a nice motivation to play through arcade mode with every character to unlock them
Yeah, it's too bad the game looks nothing like them.
well the only ones where that would be 100% the case is the alpha and vs series if you lee talking about the game actually looking like an anime. SFVI looks absolutely amazing in action as well no matter how much you disingenuous homosexuals seethe and piss and shid your skirts.
Listen man, the particle effects and the graphical fidelity are stellar, the art style is fricking foul man.
That the problem here because they have every means to make an attractive beautiful aesthetic but chose not to.
why does that look so ugly?
why are you a blind homosexual? sf never looked better
Go play Guilty Gear Strive dude
Strive is shit but it's still better than SF6 and yes, obviously way better looking too.
You my friend are the one who misses the point of SF if you think the series was supposed to look like anime.
Whatever you say moron.
Street fighter never looked better than it was using animation techniques for it's visuals, supposed to or not, it was it's peak.
Imagine if sf6 looked like that, They tried with IV no idea why they stop trying with the 3D animations.
Everything about SF6 is so stale.
The thing is between OVerwatch, ZZZ, and most obviously Guilty Gear, you can see these animation techniques applied to 3d but instead SF devs went the lazy west way and made those stiff looking gross models.
highly doubt you play any fighting games, homosexual. Good thing you can play sf3 anytime you want still. stay there
I enjoyed 5 because it was the closest thing i was gonna get to SF3-2, and even fricking Alpha-2.
Not perfect but i still love it more than 6 by a country mile.
I will. And you'll keep defending a defunct company with 1 good product (Monster Hunter) in the basketweaving forums.
theres nothing to defend. capcom are masters in their craft. dont worry, the moment they make a product which I feel isnt for me is the moment I never buy or play a new game of their ever again. now you and your xisters can carry on rooting and praying and lighting candles in hope for such moment to come. homosexual.
Real street fighter waiting lobby feelsbadman
>capcom are masters in their craft.
You play Exoprimal anon?
How about those shitty multiplayer games they tack on to Resident evil releases?
>b-but what about
keep praying, homosexual.
No you said they're masters of their craft, do tell what's masterful about those releases.
You asserted the claim, please back it up.
get fricked with a broomstick and burn like the homosexual you are. hows that?
I accept your concession.
>You play Exoprimal anon?
Yea it was pretty fun for a bit, but it should've been structured more like EDF.
>SF
>RE
>MH
>DMC
>DD
I think I'm good for another decade.
>RE
Short and linear cinematic experience, goes against what RE truly is (Maze and puzzles with a B horror theme)
>MH
Safe for now but the new one is going to be Open World and a GAAS so expect it to be shit
>SF
Dogshit, that series is so fricking dead it's not even funny
>DMC
Always a mediocre Ninja Gaiden clone, peaked with 3 and 4
>DD
Safe for now cause they remade a 15 year old game with new graphics lmao
>bigger than it's ever been
>bigger than it's ever been
>bigger than it's ever been
>on the backburner after having its most praised entry by far
>most hyped game of the year
>DMC
>Always a mediocre Ninja Gaiden clone, peaked with 3 and 4
DMC was created before Ninja Gaiden and set course for all action games that followed,
Where is this from?
SFVI art work you get by playing the game. not sure if this one was world tour or arcade.
capcom needs to try out arc sys animation methods. people also mod those all the time so i doubt it would be hard to make alternate costumes for it
>capcom needs to try out arc sys animation methods
The shit you read here.
are you implying arc sys stuff looks bad? guilty gear animations are top tier
>Arc Sys animation
Is ugly. Last thing SF needs is more crappy blur and particle effects over the entire screen and giant letters when you get a counter hit. Ugly games.
that's not what i am referring to, those effects are unnecessary, what i speak of is what they do with normals
>arc sys animation methods
dont bring arc sys anon, because of the troony shit you have to pretend everything ArcSys is bad, despite them perfecting anime visuals on 2D fighting games.
>dont bring arc sys anon
i appreciate it but ill bring it up as much as possible, not only i am correct but i am so fricking right people will seethe about it relentlessly.
SFVI is total zoomer trash. KOF still looks like its made for people and not homosexuals.
You realize SF6 is probably still going to have the most EVO entrants this year, right
I don't give a shit about EVO, if your game only exists to be a EVO game then it's not a game people are wanting to play; It just becomes more work. SF6 as a VIDEO GAME PACKAGE is fricking garbage.
NTA, but holy shit, you're dumb. If people didn't want to play SF6, then it would naturally be reflected in the number of its EVO entrants and other tourneys.
Those people want money.
It's s pretty shitty investment when you have to travel and pay for all your expenses to be present at a major tournament with an extremely low chance of winning anything. 98% of the people signing up for a stacked tournament like EVO know that.
>Able to find a match within seconds at any rank level
>Gets more entrants than other freshly released fighting games
>IT'S FRICKING DEEEEEEEEEAAAD
I'm sure if you cope hard enough it will eventually become true
Find me the quote where i said the game was "dead".
I'll wait.
Are you not the person I was replying to calling it a skeleton?
You're aware a "skeleton" is used to describe a withered figure right anon? If i wanted to say "dead" i would have called it a dead game, it is not dead, but it is a husk of what SF once was.
>You're aware a "skeleton" is used to describe a withered figure right anon?
It's actually used to describe something that's dead. You could have used "husk", or "shell". You didn't, and now you're trying to cover your ass. And even if you did, you'd still be wrong.
This fricking gay has to resort to semantics lol.
Go smoke a wiener kid.
>he had to resort to semantics!
>now watch as I pull out MY semantics
It's okay to admit you're wrong, dude.
hes a moronic esl monkey. not that theres anything wrong with being an esl but when youre a moronic brown monkey whos too stupid to acknowledge your own misunderstandings of the language then you definitely deserve to be called out.
>skeleton means I don't like it
MK1 is closer to what you're referring to, and it's a stark contrast with SF6's thriving and healthy state. By every metric that isn't a cynical echo chamber of random secondaries that pretend to play games like Ganker, SF6 is doing more than fine. I hate many things about the way this game is balanced, but morons like you only poison the well against valid criticism with your delusional wishful thinking that the game would simply fail.
Your game's fricking dead bro
Kof was dead sense day 1.
The nonfunctional online matchmaking killed it.
I had an easier time finding games in Soul Calur when it had sub 300 players online than KOF when it had 3000.
And this shit didn't work for over a year.
I haven't had the need to look for matches since I play with both irl friends and steam friends
that should be true for any fighting game but I've only done it for kof XIII and XV
Honestly? The RE engine is ugly as frick
Get woke, go broke
>SF4 Cammy and Chun are clearly the worst looking models
What did he mean by this
>t.chang
i forgot how egregiously hideous sf4 was
god that game was so fricking bad it still makes me mad
That character is so attractive and the graphics are so good! I love the use of colors! I want to buy Street Fighter 6 now!
just check it bro
if there were no mind games involved then drive rush would be useless. you could make this exact complain about any other mechanic such as grap or jump ins.
666865128
Yes, Kids. Ive seen you now frick off.
stay out. tell your xisters to do the same.
Name one SF game that was perfectly balanced and universally loved by everyone in its first Revision.
Even SFV that most people hated was considered a good game by the time the championship edition update came out.
If anything VI is the best first revision of all the SF games.
Drive rush
the same thing wrong with everything anon
Black folk and israelites are given rights in white countries
Capcom sucks now.
Street shitter is too casual and the inputs are way too simple. Hopefully more kids (not Sooners) play teller 8 instead. Always support good games instead.
Third strike is good too.
Always been more of a Tekken fan but I would count Third Strike as one of my favorite games ever. Have had more than my fair share of fun with other Capcom fighters, too, Street Fighter or otherwise. I think 6 is great. Everyone on here pretends to be a high-level player, and I'm sure some people on here are serious, but mostly this reads to me like a bunch of bad players getting mad when they get out-foxed by someone who is using Drive Rush or Modern controls.
never forget until this day the achievement percentage of those who have over 300 won matches in SFV is at like 0.2% percent, and even less for the achievement for reaching gold league, which is easy af. homosexuals here dont play fighting games.
just adapt bro
Unironically yes
Du is an actual freak of nature who's perfected both offense and defense.
No he's not, he's a shitter abusing shitters on the worst Street Fighters now that there is no real competition.
>what if we gave defensive keep out zoner the ability to become a rushdown character
i stand by my decision that drive mechanics should have been archetype based at the very least
I do hope that the drive rush mechanic will do what Strive did for the new mechanic where the characters got different wild assaults.
>>what if we gave defensive keep out zoner the ability to become a rushdown character
Guile has been rushdown since 5.
>makes 5-6 bad guesses
>gets mildly punished for them each time
Genuinely, what do you want?
What went right with Street Fighter 6?
slurm (drive rush) is one of the worst mechanics ive ever fricking seen in a fighting game. its insane how heat, tekkens equivalent, isnt even all that great and is still 1000 times more balanced and designed than drive rush
Why does the OST suuuuuuuuuuuuuck? That shit doesn’t make me want to fight, if you want to make something different do it but at least make it pumping
>we want the zoom zoom audience
>zoom zooms already moved on to the next streamer fotm
they reap what they sow, also a bit of woke->broke
Don't like the visuals. It's not the Capcom I use to love.
reinstalled after 3 months brake. game is just not fun to play. win or lose, in both cases it feels like luck.
Disagree there, but I'm deep in the trenches for ranked so I'm biased.
what does that mean? I was 1600 MR when I played regularly. everything was a coin-toss
>I can neutral skip whenever I feel like it and just randomly toss a coin on what I'm gonna do
Then why don't you do that and get to rank 1?
because my opponent can do the same to me
so you wholly admit that you suck at the game
the game says I'm Master, so take it for what it's worth
absolutely amazing how every single one of you shorposters are in masters rank. why dont you show us your id? what do you have to lose?
dont tell me, youre afraid someone will doxx you? get wrecked shitter you dont play the game until you prove otherwise. and this is also me
although now Im also masters with jamie. now show yours.
YOU WONT, homosexual
Not him, but what if I'm not stupid enough to of bought the game and have watched a collaborative of Twitch players reach said rank doing stupid shit and have themselves insulted the design on that basis? Wouldn't that make you look like you have your head up your ass?
Black person. have a nice day.
>have watched
why fighting games bring so many homosexuals who dont play the game, i bet 90% of these threads are people who only played SF2 on the SNES for 30 minutes on their childhood and thats it.
man I'm trying to play aki not even to master, just mid-ish diamond. I've done it with chun, deejay, luke and marisa and playing aki is like getting slapped in the face after all these privileged top tiers were kissing my cheek and tucking me in every game. This is the most valid opinion in the thread.
However, when I do play it more actively, I cannot deny that I slowly develop gripes with the game, my main ones being
>Poking into DRC
as it is, the reward from cancelling your poke into a drive rush cancel far outweights the risks, making it pretty much the best option in every situation, except when you are at a risk of burnout, and even then, it can be worth it if you are at a significant life lead.
Either that, or you're just playing some character that is not well balanced.
>designing lvl 3 supers to be this strong has rendered lvl 1 (and most lvl 2) supers very weak inherently and almost always a misplay to use
Classic Ganker poster: pretending to be an expert about something about which you have no clue
>gays on Ganker will praise Strive just to shit on SF6
God you gays are so disingenuous.
Strive is very good now.
If that were true people besides tryhard trannies and Leffen would still be playing
Strive was always good.
It's important that everyone understands your posts come from a black ape that failed junior high school and places all of his self worth in putting up with shitty video games because they have a brand name on them.
>quit at Gold because it's impossible to climb out of
are they for real
Probably not, no. Reads like a textbook schizo false flag.
No Laura
Just do what I did, play Manon and abandon projectiles
Game's fricking ugly, there's no character that I look at and think "man they look cool I want to play them"
No patches has locked it in its shitty launch state.
Boomers screaming about how fighting games shouldn't be patched are getting what they deserved.
>No patches
Good. Frick zoomers and their incessant need for weekly content drops and monthly patches that "shake up the meta".
Sure grandpa, SF6 is getting a yearly patch just like your old arcade games got yearly refreshes.
And look how much everyone loves it! Isn't SF6 in a great state?
It is, and people like it for the most parts outside of Ganker
>B-but pros
You can have gripes and complaints about a game you enjoy.
The game's player retention hasn't been great and everywhere I go I see nothing but complaints.
>You can have gripes and complaints about a game you enjoy.
Like it having a terrible patching paradigm that is completely out of pace with how games are played in the modern era?
>The game's player retention hasn't been great
Lmao.
sf6 is in a great state. everyone on here will sob and gnash their teeth over culture warrior obsessions from the moment the game was announced to whenever the next one comes out.
So the game basically rewards you for being a low T b***h which I guess fits with the whole theme of the game but still
you're right. you're totally clicked in to the current state of sf6. no notes.
Explain why SF6 is good. You can't. A "fighting" game that rewards you for running away is a shit game.
>pee pee poo poo haha pee pee poo poo you cant refute pee pee poo poo I accept your concession pee pee poo poo
I for one long for the time when this world is swallowed by the earth and the seas along with all you homosexuals.
stop being parasites.
grab next time, shitter.
>Just grab some sweaty dude
Shitter detected. I play fighting games to kick ass, not cuddle. I never have to grab in Tekken and I'm gliding through ranked.
I accept your concession, unironically.
You're a moron. Have fun getting grabbed and not breaking away ever.
Alex will be in season 2, right? He's always been my favorite SF character. I love power bombing people.
Maybe, maybe not. The game currently lacks characters from 3, so I would expect at least one in season 2. Season 1 DLC also has no charge characters (unless Capcom completely overhauls Akuma), so I would expect one in season 2 also.
no 3rd strike characters is a rule for this game.
Having it as a charge move like air stampede was moronic and one of the biggest call outs in 5.
basketball american month
Drive Rush in neutral was an absolute mistake, one that cannot be fixed easily since it's such a core mechanic
Also the monetisation is absolute ass. It had one of the best launch for a FG ever, but the post-launch is just depressing
I'm kinda hype for Ed (only dlc character I'll get) but after that I think I'm gonna do the same thing as with SF5 and just wait a few years until there's an updated version with 3-4 seasons of additional characters with all their costumes unlocked. Frick getting nickel and dimed for years, got too much other shit to play to stick around
I've jerk offd to her
Felt really good
Not enough objectification of Chun li and her horse legs.
I would play this game.
Btw RPG Maker XP is free tok eep on steam until feb 19th.
Wasted tons of time on the mary suevitar shit then added levels to it making it not fun to fight people with because you can fight a guy with like 5 x your hp just because he wasted more of his life than you did
Meanwhile, in Tekken.
tekken needs to use SF6 body mods to fix the fridge body lol
the women look disgustingly mannish without mods
Black person, are you saying this for real?
In a fricking SF6 thread, no less?
SF6 girls barely look human.
lol moronic tekcúck
you don't need mods to see ass and breasts in SF6
girls in tekken look like fridges in burkas
im so nice boi
http://twitch.tv/xrdmain
new cringe just dropped
I don't see myself listening to this track outside of the game, but it's undeniably superior and more authentic compared to his SFV theme. Also, both Ed's theme and AKI's are infinitely better than most other character themes in SF6. Hopefully Capcom tries to keep up producing actual music rather than a collection of sounds with barely any layering or direction.
Lyrics in english: (Credit to Shoreux on Youtube)
I am not alone, yet I feel lonely
I'm zero point zero - in harmony with my feelings
I long for success, yet fear failure
I dance at the party, but deep down I'd rather drive home
Ecstatic, then deeply saddened
I'd like to have sunshine, but the moon suffices
Just because I have excellent verses
doesn't mean my heart doesn't feel hollow
And honestly, I don't know where it comes from
Even in broad daylight, everything seems blurry to me
As if someone had taken the core out of me
I've been swimming through this deep black sea for too long
I am mentally unstable, I feel like a freak
I'm not fighting against the world, but against myself
I'm seized by this cold, empty feeling after a victory
No matter what I achieve, it will never be enough
But I keep fighting, my heart is my guide
The self-doubter in me - my constant companion
But I keep living - quitting is not an option
I fight my own demons and ascend the throne
It runs like a thread through my life
Great deeds, few words
Because death awaits everyone
Must confront raw fear
My heart races, memories are painful
But what doesn't kill me makes me stronger
Feel the power within me, call it nuclear power
And the force that pulls me down, gravity
Inhale, exhale
No turning back, only straight ahead
The onlookers stand at the garden fence
"When will his house of cards collapse?"
(1/2)
The pressure rises - Lungs ask where the air goes
Blood, sweat, and tears shimmer softly in the moonlight
Don't even need a second, just a fraction
Don't believe in good or evil, who is truly blameless?
So focused - see everything in slow motion
Haters look like ants from up here
Break them down into protons - kick them in a high arc
Through the galaxy, back onto the concrete slabs of reality
After a short streak of luck come setbacks
Because so many want to see you fall like hyenas
They don't dare to dream - they rob you of your joy
They have their lives in front of their eyes every day, how they waste them
But not for a day would I trade with these people
They feel pathetic, yes, even if they deny it
Laugh on, I have a dream that means something to me
Come on, kid, look into my eyes - do you see them shine?
Bling bling - I follow my instinct
So call me the kingpin - carry gold within me
Your motto is lose-lose - my motto is win-win
They called me a little loser, idiot, and midget
While they slept, I kept training
Write on paper - everything that's boiling inside, no time to lose
I've died once because life showed you the sunny side
and then some shit happens again
But the street fighter in me wants to keep marching
Maybe I'll get lost occasionally on the long journey
He really has no manners, maybe they're prettier, bigger, richer
But in being myself, none of them stands up to me
Ohoo and I'm not at the end yet
Screw the guy with the scythe, tell him to cancel his plans
Don't wait any longer for gifts, I'm on the verge of turning the tide
And now they're raising their hands for the living legend
I was the taciturn choir boy - they called me a lab rat
2/3
When is Rainbow Mika and her huge ass getting added to the game
Any buffs you're hoping for with season 2?
I want Manon spin to have more invul on projectiles and oki off hit grab.
It's a solid game with some serious problems:
-Uninspired bland music so they can have their in-game announcers talk over the match (no one uses this feature as far as I can tell)
-Some truly nauseating character designs; Kimberly and Lily especially.
-The engine can not handle shadows at a distance properly and you get all sorts of visual dithering on most maps and any kind of transparent clothing. (AKI is the worst offender of this)
-Ridiculous prices for their DLC but people actually pay for it so what do I know.
The b***h ass community that cannot stop complaining about everything
Trash
You mean Ganker?
Sfg is complete trashfire and has been so for months
No it’s not one guy doing. All the community does is b***h and moan
>bitches and moans about b***hing and moaning
>All the community
Ganker isn't all the community, get a life.
Have you considered maybe you are a hugbox schizo homosexual (emphasis on the homosexual part)
If it's not one guy, its a small group of them, 5 or so at most. Also
>being active in any general, ever
Ishygddt
most of us moved to trooncord. the cammygay, blue deejay and the jamiehomosexual shenanigans spam were too much to handle.
post invite link or you're lying
In this thread, it's like 90 percent one guy lol. He's ass mad because everyone stopped playing sf5
>make a bad game with bad mechanics
>people will whine
surprise surprise
Why is there so many eBay listings for the game+ultimate pass for $40? Did they overproduce the mad gear box?
SF6 is just awful to look at and listen to. Art style is off putting and character models vary in quality like V. And Jesus chrithe OST is fricking horrid.
Ganker is a terrible site to discuss Street Fighter
>Ganker is a terrible site to discuss anything
Fixed
>Ganker is a terrible site
fixed
Try not to let it bother you so much. The whole world is in a terrible state. I can't imagine how much of a little shit I'd be if I grew up these days.
Are you saying that sfg isn't a complete trashfire?
i dunno man, after 4 and 5 i just feel i ran out of steam. have barely 100 hours in 6 and i got it on release. in 4 and 5 i probably had nearly 500h to 600h or more. guess i just burned out, but even after several months long breaks i just feel no desire to even turn it on
Street Fighter is dead. Move on OP..
SF6 WON
not sure. It's the Street Fighter I've enjoyed the most since Super Street Fighter II Turbo.
I am so genuinely mad at the Yor costume.
She look so fricking stupid.
