That's really the best way to describe it. Thankfully there are no towers to reveal the map.
The combat is clunky, the sidequests boil down to "go to spot B to beat up group of generic mooks and return to me" or "bring me 5 boar asses" and traveling through the island is slow, despite all the gomu gomu rocketing and that rocketing is made annoying by insta hitting sniper marines in the main city area.
Not to mention that the PC version doesn't have all the DLC available. The "hot spring missions" are not available on PC due to sexual content, which boils down to pic related.
ALSO, the DLC is not available for consoles in USA, but it is available in Saudi fricking Arabia.
I live in Finland, but my PC copy does not get the free DLC, because the PC version is a lazily ported muttland version.
