What with the recent trend of hyper realistic foods in games? Why are devs putting so much effort in making them?

Nyooo.. you're making me hungry..
is ramen good bros i've never had it
depends on how much soul the chef puts in the ramen
Ramen tastes good however the miso soup they server together with it tastes like ass.
uhhh where the hell are you going, no ramen shop in Japan is serving it with Miso soup.
It's good if you have authentic japanese ramen
Don't go just to some random place either, find a japanese restaurant that specializes in ramen
its pretty mediocre compared to the chinese dishes its based off of. Teriyaki is pretty much the only decent japanese dish.
it's overrated
goulash is better in every way
how do you go through life without cooking a pack of ramen
I like it. The egg is the best part.
Yeah it's pretty good, you just have to go to a place that's authentic.
Instant ramen isn't ramen.
It's very hit or miss. This one is usually good.
>Instant noodles
Most places can't get the broth right, or straight up use instant noodles too.
You're going to some awful places then
The ones I go to usually make their noodles/broth in the morning and close for the day once they sell out
>make their noodles/broth in the morning and close for the day once they sell out
This is how every good shop operates
Food(just like sex) is something every human can relate to
H-Haha, yeah
>What with the recent trend of hyper realistic foods in games?
Name 5 video games right now to prove you didn't just make this thread as some offtopic bullshit to post your moronic tranime.

Frick off, 2016 tourist. Trump lost in 2020, deal wtih it.
Post more cute girls eating ramen.
Ramen is disgusting.
AI isn't cute
Americans
I prefer stylized food over realistic food in my games.
>picturing all these fat neckbeards thinking a local japanese place in the US / EU that says "authentic" and is ran by some mexican, sitting down for their ramen, and pressing their fat sausage hands together while saying "itadakimasu"
You will never be accepted as one of them.
>He doesn't have restaurants where the cute Japanese waitresses say irasshaimase
Joke's on you, I'm too lazy to use chopsticks and just eat ramen with the spoon.
I've had Ramen in the US that's pretty damn good. Just as good as many of the places in Japan. If you know where and what to look for, you'll find good ramen in the US
t. currently living in Japan
Is Japan a good place to live if you don't work there? How expensive is it?
>Is Japan a good place to live if you don't work there?
I'd say it's good if you do or don't work here
>How expensive is it?
Not expensive. Most things are pretty cheap.
Especially if you're paid in USD. 1usd is 140 yen currently.
Japanese food sucks anyway. Those bugs are moronic.
for me, it's pho
We're moving to something that's not being censored - food porn.
More and more devs are getting locked in their offices with no food until they finish the game
Probably an appeal to women. Women love food. Asian girls post almost nothing online but pictures of their latest snack/meal. It's pretty weird.
>slurp slurp slurp
>Why are devs putting so much effort in making them?
Its the opposite actually, theyre just using 3d photo scans.
