Don't know what the demo had to offer but the movement is one of the worst aspects. Once you cross a certain distance midair you arbitrarily lose all forward momentum and plummet to the ground like a rock.
It wasnt the complete freedom of GR, but there was still this sense of expression in movement. Having to look for spots to grab onto was annoying at first, but I got into after a while. Its been a while now, but think your parkour is limited by a rechargable resource might that by why you dropped?

No. That can be full and it'll still drop you after a few seconds. Didn't do enough testing to figure out if it's based on distance or time, but it consistently happens. The same quick also exists in FF15, oddly enough.

I pirated it yesterday and it's fun, though the MC talks like a drug dealer zoomer, she talks a lot, just like her companion which is the multiple bracelets thing on her forearm.
If you can get past that the game is fun.
Graphics are tight and the MC's model is very nice, she looks great most of the time, if she only never opened her mouth she'd be perfect, all they had to do was to give her a cool costume and make her a silent hero like Link from Zelda and such, if you are one of those posting "they just wont shut up!" players, then the game is not for you, because they won't shut the frick up, but I found out that video games can be enjoyed even with the audio off and you can pretend the subtitles are not there.
Funny enough, the game has the biggest amount of options to mitigate the non-stop talking, like the frequency of unnecessary diaologues and another twenty options I can't recall.
I've seen bits of the game being used in GPU benchmark videos to test performance in Forspaken. That game looks like absolute ass...unless you have over 16gb of vram so the textures will actually load in (lol quality jap developers)
Apparently they mostly fixed whatever vram problems it had and with 8gb vram the textures look okay but you have to set the textures to max to speed up the texture streaming speed for some reason.
the game got a few updates that improved the Ambient Occlusion and the frame rates on the PS5. Sadly the DLC isn't enough to encourage people to buy that game, and S-E doesn't seem to be planning anymore update or overhauls for that game.
Honestly the new lighting doesn't seem that great either. There's a very aggressive auto exposure at play here and when it works "correctly" it makes the world shine if you're just standing in a shadow, adjusting for the shadow you're in. Looks really silly. Sometimes it works incorrectly and the shadow you're in doesn't get adjusted for, then you can just be in complete darkness. That mostly happens when the dialogue starts in a new darker location so I assume it just doesn't adjust during exposure dialogue

You will understand after that. Again, can't speak for the full game but regarding my experience with the demo:

Imagine trying to make an isekai game, except it's not an isekai because Frey is actually from Athia. You can't make your own character, you get no harems and instead have a bunch of extremely ugly women that is shoved in your face constantly. You don't even get to join a Guild, but instead get moronic Detour "quests" like following a cat which...leads you to a crappy item for some reason. And then it ends. WTF? The game is also filled with politicial garbage. A perfect example is Frey's cat Homer which is a male's name, but of course, the cat is female. I could go on about things like the horrible writing and plot, the massive empty world and so on, but I think you get the idea. No one asked for this garbage and you would have to pay ME money to play it (I got it for free and still feel conned).

I pirated it yesterday and it's fun, though the MC talks like a drug dealer zoomer, she talks a lot, just like her companion which is the multiple bracelets thing on her forearm.

Graphics are tight and the MC's model is very nice, she looks great most of the time, if she only never opened her mouth she'd be perfect, all they had to do was to give her a cool costume and make her a silent hero like Link from Zelda and such, if you are one of those posting "they just wont shut up!" players, then the game is not for you, because they won't shut the frick up, but I found out that video games can be enjoyed even with the audio off and you can pretend the subtitles are not there.
Funny enough, the game has the biggest amount of options to mitigate the non-stop talking, like the frequency of unnecessary diaologues and another twenty options I can't recall.

Apparently they mostly fixed whatever vram problems it had and with 8gb vram the textures look okay but you have to set the textures to max to speed up the texture streaming speed for some reason.
the game got a few updates that improved the Ambient Occlusion and the frame rates on the PS5. Sadly the DLC isn't enough to encourage people to buy that game, and S-E doesn't seem to be planning anymore update or overhauls for that game.
Honestly the new lighting doesn't seem that great either. There's a very aggressive auto exposure at play here and when it works "correctly" it makes the world shine if you're just standing in a shadow, adjusting for the shadow you're in. Looks really silly. Sometimes it works incorrectly and the shadow you're in doesn't get adjusted for, then you can just be in complete darkness. That mostly happens when the dialogue starts in a new darker location so I assume it just doesn't adjust during exposure dialogue
