FPBP as usual. Nobody wants Shitnova games. Give me Let's go Togepi and Pichu I would legitimiately rather have that than another shitty spinoff (Legends) that is nothing like a true pokemon game or dogshit sequels to dogshit sequels to dogshit games.
How about no.
The entire point of Unova is to be a modern day region, not a fricking japanese farm, not medieval europe.
That's why the lore and history have literally ZERO things in common with America in any way shape or form.
Because its history quite frankly doesn't matter, the region got annihilated because that shit doesn't matter.
So you think that America had nothing going on before europeans came over? There's so much lore and history that could apply. You have to remember that not everywhere teaches dumbed down history like american schools do.
I think a problem is that a lot of indian stuff isn't really applicable to modern unova lore and would create a disconnect.
That said, I don't see why europeans have to have discovered unova to begin with. It's a fictional continent so the idea that everybody was there from the beginning isn't unreasonable.
>So you think that America had nothing going on before europeans came over? There's so much lore and history that could apply.
South America did, there wasn't much of interest going on in most of North America back then
When Europeans got to the New World, North America was a post-apocalyptic wasteland inhabited by the primitive tribal descendants of a fallen civilization.
And that civilization was never as advanced or as widespread as the civilizations of Eurasia, so it left behind far less information about itself.
Very little is known about them, comparatively speaking.
We don't really know what was going on in North America because the only civilization north of Mexico never invented writing and died of a massive plague decades before Columbus arrived.
There are maps in almost every library and museum that show there was a large trading network and cities made by natives. There are artifacts everywhere. If you want to get into some /x/ shit, there's plenty of evidence that there were cities with permanent structures that got destroyed when europe colonized and rebuilt many cities. A lot of the old maps show native cities in the same spots as the major cities that we have now.
As far as I know, the cities fell before Europeans arrived, but you're right that they existed.
The likely reason they were in the same place as major European settlements is that people tend to settle cities in the same places.
To my knowledge, writing never spread north of Mexico, so they left behind no records. I would like to think that the English wouldn't have been as moronic as the Spanish, and if there had been written records, they wouldn't have been fricking burned like the Mesoamerican records were.
Interestingly, one of the biggest reasons civilization never progressed as far in the Americas as in Eurasia is the lack of horses and other draft animals. Peruvians at least had llamas, but Mesoamericans and Mississippians had nothing.
The other reason, of course, is that they couldn't get their hands on easy-to-access copper. The Aztecs were technically still in the Stone Age when the Spanish arrived, although they were a great deal more advanced than any Stone Age culture in Eurasia.
We don't really know what was going on in North America because the only civilization north of Mexico never invented writing and died of a massive plague decades before Columbus arrived.
>Imagine thinking your favorite gen isn't a poorly received entry with plot equal if not worse than a final fantasy game which you then boast its the best thing about it
Couldn't be me
I don't care, just give me the original dragon already, even if it ends up never appearing in another game like Ultra Necrozma, just give me that which I have earned.
Because B/W is over 10 something years old and there's literally no reason to make a B/W3. That's such a weird thing to even ask for, out of the blue after all the remakes they've done in the past. I want a legends game which would be new.
It makes perfect sense, room temp.
Every other set of games got Directors cuts instead of full on sequels. BW2 are just BWs Emerald or Plat with a twist.

BW2 is a direct sequel to BW1 with a completely different story that takes place some time after the previous game. It's not even remotely comparable to a "twist" or platinum, you stupid moron. A direct sequel is not a "remake", which is what they've been doing for years now. The only thing I see them doing is if there was a "BW3" it would be a retelling of the original two stories to condense it into one game. You're not going to get a Legends unova AND a direct "New" sequel to 10 year old game that's suppose to be a remake. Makes zero sense and it sounds like some hopium.
BW3 is the more interesting choice, assuming it takes the form of a more traditional pokemon game and features mechanics and pokemon through Gen 9 in some capacity. A revamped world tournament provides a ridiculous number of possibilities if they were willing to put the work in.
Anyone that wants the OD to actually make an appearance is a moron.
There's no way to do it in a way that stays true to the themes of Unova.
BW3 >set in the future >if the dumb dragons get anything they all get a unique form of their own >even kyurem learns after the centuries how to absorb energy to become more whole in its own way rather than rely on the other two
I know >paradox forms are imagination and not real
Is still being argued, but in case they turn out to be real you can just say reshiram, zekrom, and kyurem combine their new powers to make that weird energy we see flowing inside the robot mons.
>Protagonist! It's me, Champion Washington! We need your help to stop Team Redcoat from taking over the region! >Quick, Use your (Mag)mortar to destroy their crates of chipped pots! That way they can't evolve their army of sinistea! >Dragon Trio bless Unova!
We'll eventually return to Unova but I have a strong feeling Game Freak is taking us back to Johto again first during gen 9. So either Let's Go Togepi or Legends Celebi.
I really doubt we're getting a Legends game in gen 9. They couldn't have started preproduction until some months after PLA released, when they saw that the game was actually really popular.
>most people
Even if 70% of people buying the double pack are splitting it with a friend, that's still hundreds of thousands of people buying both versions.

Most people aren't even buying the double pack to begin with, dummy. You have 0 evidence a surplus of people get both versions. Most people aren't friendless losers and even most friendless losers have the internet for trades these days.
Buying both versions doesn't make you a whale. Most kids have both versions. Hardcore adult fans most definitely get both versions. I buy both so because I don't like relying on others to to get exclusives, especially since home took so long.
A retelling done by Atlus or Spike Chunsoft with no Game Freak involvement that combines both Black and White and goes full JRPG, letting you decide the version as you play complete with Reshiram, Zekrom, and Kyurem endings.
People were CONVINCED that a new Let's Go was coming. People are now convinced that a new Legends is coming. My money's on another new dubiously mainline game.
Neither
bump

>wants a true Pokémon game
>wants legpiss 2
wtf
Legends is mainline
give me both
there's no way they can both be bad...
>BW3
>Ghetsis still at it after all these years
I want Legends: Genesect or Legends: <Original Dragon name>. BW3 would be neat too, I guess - or, OR, hear me out - BW0?
You'll get Legends:Victini and like it. We all will
How about no.

Can I get a good region instead of Unova please?
discord post
>Imagine thinking your favorite gen isn't a poorly received entry with plot equal if not worse than a final fantasy game which you then boast its the best thing about it
Couldn't be me
discord post or ESL post?
Schizo post?
Yes you can get Kalos, you just need to inject a vial of tetrodoxin right into your bloodstream
brb molesting a pufferfish real quick
Legends Kalos with the war and actual Zygrade content would be cool
not Unova
i miss rainbow rocket brehs
I don't care, just give me the original dragon already, even if it ends up never appearing in another game like Ultra Necrozma, just give me that which I have earned.
I want remakes and legends. "BW3" isn't a remake that would be a sequel no one asked for.
Why do you want the same game again instead of a brand new game?
Because B/W is over 10 something years old and there's literally no reason to make a B/W3. That's such a weird thing to even ask for, out of the blue after all the remakes they've done in the past. I want a legends game which would be new.
Gen 5 was the only gen with direct sequels so it would be in the spirit of those games to make BW3.
That makes zero sense.
It makes perfect sense, room temp.

A spin-off game focused on contests, musicals, and the Dream World that takes in Nimbasa City. Includes Ferris Wheel dates.
*takes place in Nimbasa City
>Includes Ferris Wheel dates
That's lewd anon
>Hiker
How did you frick up your playthrough so badly that you ended up with him?
BW3 is the more interesting choice, assuming it takes the form of a more traditional pokemon game and features mechanics and pokemon through Gen 9 in some capacity. A revamped world tournament provides a ridiculous number of possibilities if they were willing to put the work in.
how does ghetsis still have kyurem in a hypothetical bw3
he found another one
He assraped both player characters offscreen and stole their dragons
He bought it
he genned it, max ivs, no player id. Dude doesn't give a frick, ban him if you can
>He still thinks the next game is gonna be Unova
Anyone that wants the OD to actually make an appearance is a moron.
There's no way to do it in a way that stays true to the themes of Unova.

I want Pokemon Legends: Unova to have a Colonial America feel
>Protagonist! It's me, Champion Washington! We need your help to stop Team Redcoat from taking over the region!
>Quick, Use your (Mag)mortar to destroy their crates of chipped pots! That way they can't evolve their army of sinistea!
>Dragon Trio bless Unova!
George Washington was a slave-owning chud, he's not going to be appearing in any video games as a good guy anymore.
Champion Roosevelt would probably be more fun anyway
BW3 with Black coming back
BW3 if it has full national dex neither otherwise.
Neither, they both sound fricking moronic and ignore what the devs went for regarding themes in both BW/BW2 and Legends.
Play the fricking games.
Legends, no contest
No more pokemon games
We'll eventually return to Unova but I have a strong feeling Game Freak is taking us back to Johto again first during gen 9. So either Let's Go Togepi or Legends Celebi.
I really doubt we're getting a Legends game in gen 9. They couldn't have started preproduction until some months after PLA released, when they saw that the game was actually really popular.
BW3
Neither. I want a typical Black and White reimagining like ORAS and HGSS with updated visuals and battle mechanics.
BW3 is never happening unless Gamefreak makes BW and BW2 accessible to newer audiences.
And Legends flopped. I doubt they're itching to do that again so soon.
>Legends flopped
It sold 15 million copies despite only being one game instead of two and having limited marketing and coming out in February.
>despite only being one game instead of two
All that proves is "selling le same game twice"gays are spergs and no one actually buys both.
If you believe this you might actually want to get your brain checked for holes. They sell a fricking double pack for a reason.
Because most people get a friend or sibling to get the other version, stupid. Just because you're a whale doesn't mean most people are.
>most people
Even if 70% of people buying the double pack are splitting it with a friend, that's still hundreds of thousands of people buying both versions.

???
black 3 for sure, i loved bw 1 and 2 so i would love to see this happen
legends
Legends Kyreum is never going to happen. It's going to be split into Legends Zekrom and Legends Reshiram in order to increase sales.
Good. Kyurem is the worst gen 5 pokemon.
A retelling done by Atlus or Spike Chunsoft with no Game Freak involvement that combines both Black and White and goes full JRPG, letting you decide the version as you play complete with Reshiram, Zekrom, and Kyurem endings.
These both look like thinly veiled attempts to rehash B2W2 (and remove key features).
I'm hyped as shit for BW remakes either way.
People were CONVINCED that a new Let's Go was coming. People are now convinced that a new Legends is coming. My money's on another new dubiously mainline game.
