Cancer's just a biological time bomb that can happen to anyone at any time. It's RNG. The Sword of Damocles of the human race that only becomes more likely the longer you live, to the point that it's inevitable. That guy got really unlucky.
>things americans say. >depending on the cancer you have there's varying degrees of likelyhood you "just got RNG" > >astronomically small chance someone gets lung cancer randomly.

Nah mine is valuable unlike yours europoor.
Everything about this post is moronic
But the first part is the only part nobody else called you out on.
>things americans say
Everyone else on the planet apparently is a cancer researcher with in depth knowledge of every minute detail involved in every type of cancer in existence.
Also it's pronounced MINOOT btw when you're using the other definition, you're a moron so I do need to explain this.
>it's inevitable
Speak for yourself. I am anti-oxidant maxing, fasting at least once a month, meditating everyday and not eating goyslop. Unless a bus comes out of nowhere, I'll see you at 150.
>meme maxing >meme fasting >meme meditating
imagine wasting your time doing all this useless shit and not exercising, which multiple studies have shown decreases your overall all risk mortality rate. fricking moron. you think sitting in a corner with your eyes closed is gonna help you live a long life? lol
Cancer has increased for many reasons but the biggest reason is because of obesity. Many cancers respond to estrogen so the fatter you are, the more estrogen you have. And being fat is just unhealthy too.
>Cancer has increased for many reasons but the biggest reason is because of obesity. Many cancers respond to estrogen so the fatter you are, the more estrogen you have. And being fat is just unhealthy too.
for breast cancer, not necessarily all of them.
Also 92% of them need sugar. Dunkin' Donuts is literally dunking on their customers by selling a drink with almost 200 grams of sugar in it. Even doing blow has to be healthier than that.
Not just obesity, sugar consumption. Not to be a keto advocate, but keto stalls and kills cancer cells. Truly worth a hail mary if you're dying of cancer to try Keto.
I know you're memeing but people really do believe "[disease/mental illness] rates went up in modern times, something bad must be happening to people". No you moronic fricks, we're just capable of actually detecting it. Back in the day grandpa just had a bad cough for a couple years and then died in his sleep. Or you just said "that kid ain't right" when he killed small animals for fun. Food allergies are technically caused by modern society but not because people are somehow "weaker" but rather that they're encountering foods their ancestors would've never had access to. Of course you're going to have lots of people allergic to peanuts, they're native to Bolivia and you're native to Germany. Your ecosystems have never interacted.
One of the few things that did change are our jaws. Almost everyone has buck teeth now because of the easy to eat slop we have. 400 years back people had to chew pretty hard foods.
>Of course you're going to have lots of people allergic to peanuts, they're native to Bolivia and you're native to Germany. Your ecosystems have never interacted.
Wrong. Almost no one in the EU is allergic to peanuts. Natives to Bolivia and natives to EU are exposed to peanuts from the birth. Only in the US are people beyond moronic and "protect" their children. Even if a baby is allergic to peanuts, if exposed very early, the immune system learns it's not harmful. By the time you are in high school your immune system is robust enough to kill you and it's too late to develop tolerance for it.
France probably would have been a better example. And you can't just "toughen up" kids with the kind of typical reaction they have to peanuts. A 4 year old who is allergic to peanuts doesn't get a stomach ache, their throat closes up and they have to use an epipen or they suffocate and die.
You might find yourself thinking this because allergies do change over the course of growing up. As a kid I was allergic to coconut and peaches. I avoided them for a long time (ie, I didn't "expose" myself to it at all) and by college I just stopped being allergic to both.
There are plenty of information campaigns on things to do to reduce your cancer risk, but what more would you like?
You can start rounding people up and putting them in fat camps with strict diets and you'd be spending lots of money on much more effective cancer prevention, but I don't think the general public would go for it.
I see. Well that does suck. I do hate how money-centric everything is. But then again, research ain't cheap. No one's gonna fund something if it isn't beneficial.
This man is right. Anything else is cope. Just look up telomeres and learn. Cells can only divide so much. Over time the telomeres get shorter and shorter to the point where the cells become essentially moronic and become things they're not supposed to be, aka cancer. Unless we find a way to reverse telomere loss everyone WILL die of cancer at some point if they manage to beat everything else off.
>Unless we find a way to reverse telomere loss
Not true. You can immunize against certain types of cancer and the list is expanding. So in the future when a specific type of cancer develops because of telomere shortening, the patient gets vaccinated and his own immune system will recognize and destroy these cells. Only immunodeficient patients will be fricked. Hopefully we'll get human aligned AI swarms of NANOMACHINES SON by then.
DNA will corrupt but you can train the immune system to recognize the cancer and stop it. Currently the best treatment for certain types of cancer are immunizations (vaccines). Very high success rate (80-94%) with complete remission, more and more of these are being made for other types of cancer. This corona shitshow was good for one thing, significant funding into research of mRNA tech, which seems to be the answer to cancer looks like.
>AI swarms of NANOMACHINES SON
We already have those. The immune system. The problem is simply to aim it to target correct cells and making sure they actually do their job then cancer is cured.
>The problem is simply to aim it to target correct cells and making sure they actually do their job then cancer is cured.
Currently no cancer can be cured, only go into remission. But if you teach the immune system to target specific genetic profile (using a virus or a spike protein as a vector), you teach it to recognize the cancer and kill it. As I said, it's currently the most successful approach and the cutting edge in oncology.
>AI swarms of NANOMACHINES SON

>What would you say to him
Shouldn't have gotten the jab. >aged 35, never smoked >lung cancer
There can be a lot of causes beside smoking but i have a feeling this guy wasn't smoking asbestos daily.
>Cancer's just a biological time bomb that can happen to anyone at any time.
Nope. Before modernity cancer was something almost unheard of. Shitty food, shitty lifestyle, shitty behaviors will lead to cancer, yes. Try not eating for a few days and letting your body recover from all that food, it will save your health in the long run.
knew a girl who died of a rare lung cancer at the ripe old age of 16. Never smoked, nobody in her family smoked, she grew up breathing fresh mountain air far away from the city. Sometimes you just lose for no reason.
My uncle (never met him) died of it at age 16, never smoked, no asbestos nothing perfectly healthy dude according to my parents. There's people put there who smoke drink and eat like shit and live to 85, there's people out there who eat nothing but health food, excercise daily, god tier shape and die at 20. Lifes weird.
Shit happens.
Some people just get cancer for no discernible reason. And some people smoke 2 packs a day and make it to 90 cancer-free.
We do not understand the myriad of conditions we call "cancer" very well. We have some ideas about mechanisms and we can test substances on rats, but for the most part we are still just stumbling around in the dark after all these years.
Asbestos increases chance, but you can get a cancer of literally everything at any age. You just need 1 Gankercel cell which can't get a gf to start the process.
fiberglass and all the related products are fricking cancerous. Depending on how bad are work condition and your exposure to it, at the age of 40 you will look like someone on his mid 60's
Chem trails, or radon gas coming from out or around your house. Many people dont know that planes still use leaded gasoline to fly in the Us, as long as they were bulit before the lead gas ban law was made. Hence why planes are retrofitted and NEVER remade. Its so much cheaper, and the elite know this. Thats why so meny people die so young, pollination form lead gas from planes.
There's nothing remotely fun about hospital stays. >food is shit >beds are shit and will hurt your back >nothing to pass the time with >can barely concentrate most of the time because of the pain/painkillers so any books you bring with you won't be read >can't get a decent night's sleep because you're hooked up to some bullshit that either beeps or needs manual change
I was in for a month, and kind of. It got really bad when the colostomy bag I just had installed suddenly started filling when I was asleep and I woke up to a wet and disgusting feeling, and had to watch a female nurse clean a literal butthole poking out of my gut while I was naked, emaciated and hadn't showered or shaved in three weeks.
I was in for 3 days after having acute appendicitis and that was 3 days of no sleep, trash food and and having hallucinations from the anesthesia. Would not recommend. I also learned that morphine doesn't do jack shit for me.
You mean middle aged sociopaths taking their anger out on the patients. >get admitted to hospital >guy in bed next to me warns me the nurses turned his arm into a pincushion while putting the iv in >guy in bed across from me says the same >nurses arrive and jab me with the iv >oops your vein moved >it's a slippery one >hold still and this will be over >just one more big pinch >other nurses show up and ask for a turn >it moved again >the vein is really small
Frick nurses. Frick hospitals.
This is how I can tell you've never had to stay overnight in a hospital for treatment or surgery. You don't get hot nurses tending to your every beck and call 24/7. You get obese middle aged nigress CNA's fricking around on their phones, pocketing your medicine, going through your shit, trying to give you spongebaths with a disgusting sponge that they use on every patient, dragging you to the bathroom to watch you shit and piss.
There's nothing remotely fun about Starfield >game is shit >graphics are shit and will hurt your eyes >nothing to pass the time with >can barely concentrate most of the time because of the gameplay and anything you do won't be fun >can't get a decent night's game session because you're hooked up to some bullshit that needs a "good PC" or needs mods.
Nah, some people love it there, you'd be surprised. They basically get to be treated and cared for like a baby again or it's better than their shitty lives and so they make excuses to be there.
Burger healthcare might be shit, but at least you get painkillers. Here in Europe hospitals are super stingy when it comes to painkillers, probably afraid of creating morphine addicts or something, you'll be lucky if you get any at all.
I know a guy who went down in agonizing pain from pancreatic cancer. The doctor went on leave without oncreasing morphine dose.
This happened in Europe.
>can't get a decent night's sleep because you're hooked up to some bullshit that either beeps or needs manual change
This is very accurate. I had stage III cancer recently and needed four week-long stays for chemotherapy. Every time you move your arm at night the IV drip gets crossed and the machine starts making noise, causing you to have to call a nurse to set things straight again. This happened two or three times a night.
Also, I was lucky enough to have a single-person room with an ensuite bathroom, because every time I had to take a piss at night (which happens a whole lot when you're on a saline drip between rounds of chemo) I had to get out of bed carefully, take the IV machine out of the wall socket and roll it with me into the bathroom and back.
The hospital bed I was in was actually supremely comfy.
But let's just say if I have to sit in again I'm going to try and bribe the nurses to bring me some microwave dinners.
I can still taste the slop they served me and it tastes vile.
I'm certain the food caused physical changes to my brain, it was a traumatic experience.
Aussie here. I've been in hospital the past month and honestly, it's been decent. I guess American hospitals are really just that bad.. kinda ironic seeing as they charge you poor c**ts an arm and a leg
I live in the uk and spent 2 months in hospital. beds are comfy. the food is pretty good. nurses are nice. only thing is, i didn't get to enjoy much of the food because my bowels were paralysed.
the absolute worst thing about hospital stays is the other people you're stuck with. had one frickwit come up to my bed one night and threaten to kill me. spent a few nights sleepless because some fat hag was wreathing about in her bed screaming non stop. some old guy across the isle kept shitting himself.
it's also according to what you are smoking, too. if you are sucking back American Spirits by the pack, sure, but if you've spent your entire life smoking hand-rolled cigs you are much better off.
If someone does that to me my ghost is going to rape that homosexual every night in his sleep. Using dead people to promote your game is gross and anyone who does it deserves to have their butthole constantly leaking with ectoplasm.
Honestly, I didn't even know who the "tribute" for. Thought it was a random letter to an NPC in game. Also, for all we know, he might be a pedo. Are you gays going to cry for him now?

Sure mate.
From Bethesda's point of view it's easy content, they can just throw it in a random corner and it generates them positive press when people find it. It's a win-win.
Both Skyrim and Fallout 4 also had NPCs based on dead fans that didn't get to play the games >"His name is derived from Erik West, whose internet alias was "Immok the Slayer," a visitor to Bethesda's HQ during Skyrim's development. Bethesda was so impressed with his knowledge of Oblivion that they gave him an in-depth tour of Bethesda studios and decided to create a character named Erik in his honor. Erik died of cancer six months before the release of Skyrim, hence Bethesda immortalized him in the form of Erik the Slayer." >"Evan is a tribute to a Fallout fan's brother Evan, who passed away before Bethesda Softworks could deliver a care package of Fallout merchandise sent as a way of supporting the two brothers after their father had died. To make up for the delayed package, Bethesda promised to include Evan as an NPC in Nuka-World."

Get myself euthanized if there's no hope of getting rid of the cancer. Having lost my father to it last year there's no way in frick I'd willingly deal with the deterioration.

He would still be alive very likely but he's been shitting blood and eating slop for years before he went to a doctor and by that time it was in his liver.
That took like 30 seconds for some intern to create in game. It's just a note with some text. They didn't even both to create a new model. That's not sad, it's pathetic.

Because most people aren't miserable enough to trade away their lives to opioids/benzo/booze. Drug addicts are miserable in the long run. Cancer patients don't have much to lose
I read a study where they gave mushrooms to cancer patients. It didn't cure them obviously but almost all of them accepted their fate and felt more at peace with it after they were high. We should give dying people mushrooms
People will cling to the idea that they're going to survive against the odds till the end. Saying frick it and taking a bunch of drugs and either dying painfully, becoming a vegetable or choking on your own vomit probably isn't very appealing

ODs arent fun. though if you know youre on your last day a generous morphine drip is probably the way to go. getting gently smothered by the giant blanket of a morphine nod is definitely more pleasant than the excruciating pain of cancer eating away your insides and shutting down your organs.
When you're nearing death, but still have some time to reflect on your life, you start to realize the important things anon.
And hedonism isnt one of them.
I've got stage IV melanoma and just went through four rounds of fricking chemo the last thing I wanna fricking do is pump my body with more drugs. I can barely walk at this point and playing video games just feels like a waste of time.
remember that cancer kid that got to play fo76 early and died like the very next day? i cant even imagine the anguish of dying while the feelings of an overhyped disappoint were that fresh.
honestly it was probably the game that finally killed him. along with that dev, fo76 is so bad it has a body count.

>I'm gonna die very soon >Nothing will matters to me >Before I die, I'm gonna prostitute my illness out and gain likes and le upboats >Also, I'm just gonna continue playing Xbox
It's a shame that these idiots are completely brainwashed by social medias and think it's the most important thing ever.
It's also sad that he's just gonna waste the rest of his time just playing video games.
What will you do if you only have months left to live?
id do the same. probably do a shitload of drugs too. blow a couple stacks on the highest class hooker i can find and give her an a2m throat creampie. but my last days would definitely be playing video games and shitposting here.
I am trying really hard to think of a game/IP I'd hate to miss out on if I was dying, but I can't think of one. Feels a little pointless, right? I would be much more curious about all the weird drugs out there that make you see god and let you talk with dead people. Ugh I don't get it. Makes me think of the guy that got to see the new Star Wars movie early before dying; why hinge EVERYTHING on being able to consume some piece of media before you go? It could never be good enough.
Psychedelic drugs, special food (if you still have the appetite) like that olive wagyu beef. I think I'd just want to really dive inward with drugs and eat really nice food if possible. Pining for a video game as your dying wish just seems dystopian to me.
>the sibling you are closest to writing poems about your experiences together and they only share it with you and then they set it ablaze after you die. Only the two of you know its contents
Is there nothing you have strong memories associated with?
Like if Sonic Adventure remake was announced and looked amazing, I'd be pretty sad if I had cancer and was due to die before Its release.
There's plenty of games I know I'd feel that way about.
They could be when you're bedridden. There comes a point where you're still alive for a couple months but stuck in bed and all you can do is watch movies with the family or play vidya if they're gamers. It's not like people with cancer aren't still passing the time.
You've avoided saying what you would do?
Simp for women in your last days?
You're not going to be able to really enjoy stuff like hiking or travelling so much.
When you're dying stuff like that doesn't really register. I see PS5s at Target all the time, I've got the money to buy one but I don't care and same goes for Xbox and Switch. I have my PC and I might buy a game on sale but I haven't done that much since summer. I just play older stuff when the mood strikes me but other than that I just watch movies and have been working on my anime back log (finally watched a lot of the early Gundam stuff).
Cancer scares me, cause even though I’m young, it still could happen whenever, and it feels like often when people notice something bad is happening, it’s already super advanced. But it’s not like there are frequent(well, not really) screenings until you’re much older, so you can just get kinda screwed.
If you're really concerned, fast for 4+ days 4 times per year and eat a low carbohydrate diet. Additionally, buy liposomal quercetin and eat it with an over easy egg every morning. Morning is the best time because you're breaking your 8 hour fast from sleeping, so your cancer cells are quite hungry and quercetin is a bit too spicy for them. Egg yolks are a natural emulsifier and quercetin isn't that bioavailable, even the liposomal form needs some help, hence the egg in combination with the quercetin.
Cancer is scary but for the most part you won't get it until you're old, or if you live an extremely unhealthy lifestyle. You should be more scared of blood clots. I'm 37, I've known 2 young people with cancer, both had a pretty treatable type of cancer and both are still alive today. I've known 3 people who had blood clots, all younger than 40, all died from it almost instantly and out of nowhere. I've never known anyone who had a brain aneurysm but those scare me too.
Two were not, one was an athlete and very fit, but the third one was overweight and had their stomach stapled and the clot happened to them within a year of the surgery, so that likely played a part.
Clots tend to be diet and or if you do nothing but sit around all day. Weird it'd happen to a fit athlete unless he was eating some real garbage or had some unknown medical condition.
While true, all of those could happen without warning, while cancer means you get a diagnosis, have to learn your chances of survival, and then just slowly go through the process, and if you aren’t gonna make it, you’ll probably know well ahead of time.
Atleast with most cancers you get to liva a couple of years and allowing you to get your fairs in order and do tje things on your bucket list.
But I do see the appeal in a quick death. It doesnt torture you as mentally since one doesnt have the time to process incoming death
Well don't be, the chances are really low, even more so when you're young. If you're really worried you can make an effort to live healthier, stop smoking etc.
Also you can just easily check your balls with a flashlight, feel for lumps with your fingers and go to a dermatologist to get beauty marks checked, I did that a few years ago and they cut one out from the top of my head lel
>Be terminal >Worried you will die before playing a long awaited game >Terminal illness goes into remission >You get to play the game >It's shit >Hope is lost >Nothing else to look forward to >Get sick >Die
There was a movie like this called Fanboys, set in the 90s where a teen gets a cancer death sentence and he's a huge Star Wars fan. His friends convince him to take a road trip to Skywalker Ranch to steal an early cut of Phantom Menace so he can see it before he dies(the real release date he will already be dead). It's pretty funny all the way thru, and of course the movie sucks but the characters in the film don't know it yet
from a lung cancer patient, you probably don't have lung cancer
by the time you feel pain in your chest you are probably spitting blood in which case it's stage 4
that's how mine was atleast
That said, if you respond well to treatment, you can usually just kill the cancer early if it comes back. And the younger you are, the less likely it is that it comes back.
>For the past two years I've had blood in my stool
I'm very untrustworthy of doctors, I'm riding this thing out till' I'm dead.
Everytime someone I know goes for a doctor visit and gets put into a hospital, their health IMMEDIATELY deteriorates. I don't trust em.
May he rest in peace but if I'm being honest I feel like worrying about not playing a video game is the last thing you should do or care about if you're dying soon. You should aim to spend as much time with your family and friends as possible.
Video games are just a distraction. I like playing video games but they are all basically the same. All shooters are the same, all turn based are the same, all rpgs are the same just different skins or feel.
At 35 if you played games since let's say teens you aren't missing out on much if you decide to stop.
It's popular belief that time has no meaning in the afterlife so it's mythical that he has a huge backlog of great games to complete while we sit around doing nothing.
How come none mentioned the elephant in the room? The thing that people were forced to take and soon afterwards western societies were recording more deaths than normal.
I swear this entire thread is full of scheming agents of evil.
The demoralizing tactics are winning. People just take bad news at face value and never try. Sad, really. The human spirit being trounced by men in funny hats paying media sites to push certain keywords and perspectives. Slavery is a choice.

>when all people have uploaded themselfes into the cloud and get to have unlimited sex with their perfect waifus
That won't be you being uploaded though. The copy of you will be having sex, you'll still be in teodiosis realis mundus.
That depends. If we can isolate the process of continued consciousness and gradually ship of theseus it over the course of several years into hardware replacement instead of bruteforcing it like conflip morons do, it won't be a copy.
iam sure we can find a way to upload ourselfes into the cloud without copying
basicly drag and drop
also if i kill myself while being uploaded theres a slight chance ill be reborn as the copy
also, 50% is an extremely high survival rate for cancer kek
pancreatic cancer kills 95% of the time if not caught early
treatments have changed a lot and online data is mostly outdated now
if you get cancer, remember that you are not a statistic
>born with an ultra rare form of artery hardening >have survived 6 heart attacks
Ask me anything I guess. I've started a trial of a super secret that's made me heart attack free for almost 5 years now. Its going to market's in the next two apperently.
It's the worst pain I've ever experienced. I always see people say that stupid meme like "haha do you ever get that one random chest pain once a year and think it's time for you to die xD" and I can tell you it's beyond pain >chest
Imagine lying down flat and someone sits on your chest FULL weight. The feeling in your heart feels like someone is squeezing it with their fist (if you ever read or saw jojo part 3 think that part where jotaro uses star platinum to stop his heart, its a squeeze feeling and its awful). Contrary to popular belief your heart isn't really on the left side. It's basically in the center with a chunk going to the left so 95 percent of the pain is in the centre while 5 is on the left side (most people think the full heart is on the left side) >arm
Sharp pain shoots down left arm and burns for a while. >other symptoms
Shortness of breath, MAJOR sweats, blurry vision >myths
Some people say heart attacks can kill instantly but that's not exactly true, this is cardiac arrest which is MUCH rarer and happens usually due to genetic conditions or a heart attack that went too far.
Did it get easier the more you had?
It gets less scary but the pain is the same. It's a literal 10/10, those heart attacks that are symptomless with no pain are EXTREMELY rare and usually only happen in woman.
Nah. The survival rate for heart attacks is quite high due to symptoms lasting a while. As long as you ring an ambulance you're golden (give or take). Apperently only 12 percent of them lead to death. Cardiac arrest on the other hand has a SURVIVAL rate of 12 percent. I've survived so many because: >live with a family >live literally right beside a hospital by luck >have an internal monitor
Greek philosophy. While death is not there you need not be afraid of it because you won't know it and when death is there, you need not be afraid of it because then you won't know it either.
it happens, enviromental issues are to blame most of the time
the good news is if you get it and its not from a smoking habit it's easier to treat
there has been a rise in cancer rate in young people since the 90s
Smoking doesnt automatically gives people cancer. Given by his background like how he spent hours consooming video games slop, lets just assume he spent 35 years of his life on his mom basement, or a room with a bad air circulation or asbestos house like the first post said or whatever.
The moral of this story is go outside and dont spent too much time in your room, otherwise you'll be dead like this söyboy manchild on reddit whose probably getting buried with his funko pops collection
>go outside >breathe in that smog filled city air >get microplastics in lungs anyway like most of humanity does
You're fricked either way unless you live in the suburbs or countryside. And even then, most of the food you eat is processed shit pumped with cancirogens. Unless you're a part of the elite that can afford to screen the air you breathe and buy the best natural food possible, you still are in the risk group no matter what you do unless you go off the grid completely and let's be real here, for most it's not an option.
>most of the food you eat is processed shit pumped with cancirogens. Unless you're a part of the elite that can afford to screen the air you breathe and buy the best natural food possible
Is fresh unprocessed naturally grown food really that hard to come by for Americans?
Well, the TTIP deal never went through because the EU found American food to not even be fit for animal consumption. That's how fricked it is in the states.
Then go to the place where you could get a fresh air? I dont know? Take a train or hiking on the weekend? Its not that hard and train tickets are affordable, hiking can be done in any hiking trails that mostly free of charge. Camping is also an option, you could even bring friends there
Look at those updoots... look at those internet points... look at those 'fellow cancer patients' who wrote paragraphs about having a cancer and getting hundreds of updoots...
Dunno, this shit is suspect
Actually, anyone else remember when a redditor posted a photo of Der Coomer lying in a hospital bed with a caption saying "I finally beat cancer, and also covid too!" and THOUSANDS of redditors fell for it and upvoted it? Lol, lmao
I say this as someone who lost someone close to cancer. If it spreads, just stop treatment and start taking the pain meds and enjoy what little time you have left. I don't necessarily think doctors see money bags in a lost cause cancer patient, but at the very least the "you have this many months to live" line doesn't exist any more. They never tell you you're definitely going to die.
It started to be obvious with the person I'm talking about so it was still no surprise, but never got a date until one of the hospice nurses just said it will be tonight or tomorrow, when it was obvious because he wasn't response at all by that point.
So the moral of the story is that people who consider committing suicide should get a pet and start genuinely care for it so they get better?
I can get behind that.
Honestly unless they're talking about getting a specific tumor taken out, they're probably dead. If you're relying on chemo or immunotherapy and it didn't already start shrinking things in the first six months, you're basically a goner.
If one treatment didn't work, it had to be a scan weeks later to show that. Then they have to wait for the non-working shit to be out of your system. Then there's paperwork and approval for trial drugs you have to wait for. Then you have to wait months to see if that worked.
All this time shit is still growing. So you can't even just throw treatments at your cancer and see if it works. You get a handful of shots at trying different treatments before it's too late and you're going.
>OH NOES!!! I WON'T GET TO PLAY THE NEWEST HECKIN EPICRINO COPYPASTED LOCATION OPEN WORLD SLOP FROM MY BASED BOY BETHESDAINO!!! HELP ME TODD Black personMAN!!!
I'd rather be dead than play another one of Todd's "masterpieces"
Man, there sure are a lot of premature deaths than average now after trying to force a medical experiment that turned out to not even work and wasn't even tested for safety as shown when the papers they tried to hide for 70 years came out.
New Zealand stats include anyone getting sick or dying in anyways as uninjected up to a month after being injected, and then uninjected 3 months afterwards.
The medical staffs logging things could also determine that the person most likely got sick beforehand within that timeframe and still count them as uninjected even if they presented or died within that narrow timeframe.
In other words it is completely useless propaganda from a government trying not to be held liable for their own actions.
Then why doesn't everyone else with excess deaths do that 😀

What, skyrocket in general while trying to hide away through smaller stats they make up?
In general they do globally except those that made their own products or did not mandate mRNA therapies.
I'm not anti-vax, even got the booster twice. But aren't you gays at least curious how the Covid-panic just vanished after the Ukraine war? Just a week or so before, they were still pushing for the third or fourth booster for a new variant. If the booster and variant was really that important, why did attention/coverage/panic for it vanished almost immediately. I followed the news almost daily and then the war happen, they still peddle the booster for one or two weeks, and then, nothing. I feel like the big pharma got way yoo greedy and started pushing boosters as a quick profit.
Well, judging by how hard they were peddling the booster, it doesn't seem like they were thinking about ending the panic. It was weird how everyone and the media just sweep it under the rug. It's not just one more booster mind you, they were planning for 2 or 3 more IIRC. It's creepy how fast our attention and focus changes according to what the media wants to feed you.
I remember this being talked about at the very start of it all, when they were first discussing lock downs. People are primed to act that way - an unknown threat is frightening, but once you have been living with it for years the edge wears off.
what? the "covid panic" is still here
my oncologist is giving me another booster next month
the media just loves to focus on the current thing that gets them the most views, people got bored of covid
I'm honestly more afraid of potentially having a heart attack than getting cancer.
I tend to work a lot just sitting down for hours on end, which ends up making my legs usually hurt and I get the feeling at some point it might cause problems with blood clots forming and possibly traveling to my heart and killing me.
Same but with hitting my head after slipping on something
>worry about dying >die from the extra stress
Worrying about dying actually brings you closer to the Death's door.
Death happens. You have to accept that. Even when we solve aging you're not out of the risk of dying.
The only conceivable way to not have to worry about death is having your consciousness digitized (not creating a copy) and being in a board of some self-sustaining spaceship that can easily survive for millions of years through constant automated maintenance while you frick around in virtual worlds. Assuming we solve the entropy problem and preventing slow heath death or find a way around it (e.g. moving to other dimensions/realities).
Otherwise you're still going to die at some point.
>tldr
Put the effort you waste on worrying about your death on bettering yourself and extending your time you get to enjoy. You live in times of major changes where it's not impossible for you to live long enough to survive until tech which allows you to live for millennia becomes real.
inb4 muh rich, muh government, muh wars, muh global warming, muh doomer posting
Pessimist die sooner than optimists.
One of the reasons why things are bad as they are is because of homosexuals like you.
stand up once an hour no exceptions, if your boss rushes you tell them frick off you're preventing blood clots. this is not a joke.
I have minor back issues but rather than strain myself I take 5 and do you know what, they prefer that over me throwing out my back. look after your health.
>That one episode of teen titans go where there is just that one random kid in their tower and everyone is just being nice to him
that was such a strange episode and I thought they were gonna prank him or something. Was he like a real fan or something?
God spared him.
The last time I was excited for a game was fricking callisto protocol and it was because it came out on my birthday.
The disappointment was already immeasurable then but if I was weeks from dying and that was the last shit I was looking forward to I'd have killed myself sooner.
Imagine having cancer and looking forward to this game and then Borefield ends up being his last experience on earth. It's a mercy if he never got to play it.
>take break from Ganker for a few days due to work >come back
Yep, Gankereddit is still getting 400+ reply threads to screencaps of other social media sites because nobody in charge gives a frick about anything.
treatment takes an incredible physical, mental, and emotional toll on people. I've had thoughts of stopping treatment just because I live by myself and doing chemo like that is a fricking nightmare so sometimes you just feel like saying "frick it let me die". I kinda feel like that right now but I know it's mainly because I just got done with a round of chemo last week I should start to feel a bit better next week as I'm hitting the nadir right now.
Cancer "treatment" is basically trying to kill you but stopping just short of and hoping you can come back. It's torture and if your prognosis is not good then there is no point of spending your final days in agony.
Why do people post shit like this? Nobody fricking asked or cares. It's like those morons that post their life story of learning to drive a manual in their gran dads f100 on a dirt road as a youtube comment. Shut the frick up.
He kind of framed Starfield as his life's end goal but we all know how the game turned out in the end.
It's some sort of retrospect how things were and hoeps were up only to be let down.
Hopefully he was a smoker or vaped, if he was he deserved death. Ima go back to drinking my monster energy drink and combing through shitty pajeet tier java code for 5 more hours.
If you moron ever get cancer, look into dry fasting.
The shit you can do with your body to fricking attack cancer is unbelievable only due to big pharma and doctors seething at the proof.
Autophagy and Ketosis can save your fricking life.
Specially if you're overweight.
If you have enough fat stored in you, fasting can help you directly target cancer cells and win in the end.
It's uncomfortable and a fight against time, but if you went the chemo route, then you're just a stupid homosexual who never stood a chance for listening to the industry that profits off your fricking suffering and death.
Dry fasting costs you NOTHING.
It works better than your dumb ass would believe right now.
the saddest thing about watching my dad battle cancer wasn't knowing that he was going to die, it was how he lost interest in just about everything. baking, bands, music, technology, and the worst of all his sense of humor. i didn't hear him laugh for last several years of his life.
i only got him to smile once when i showed him that picture of schizoid man smiling.
does this guy live in an asbestos house or something how does he have terminal lung cancer at 35
Cancer's just a biological time bomb that can happen to anyone at any time. It's RNG. The Sword of Damocles of the human race that only becomes more likely the longer you live, to the point that it's inevitable. That guy got really unlucky.
>Cancer's just a biological time bomb that can happen to anyone at any time. It's RNG.
things americans say.
depending on the cancer you have there's varying degrees of likelyhood you "just got RNG"
astronomically small chance someone gets lung cancer randomly.
You sound like an obsessed homosexual who got everything handed to him in life and thinks everything in life is a personal fault that can be avoided.
you sound like a mad libtard troon Black person that doesnt understand how cancers spread and work. its not RNG you fricking mongrel moron swarthoid

Smart and europeon don't go together, continent of morons.
According to what you said it does in fact go together.

See that's what i'm talking about, you can't even read the use of the word "and" which splits the two. Proving the point.

cancer is just your cells failing to reproduce correctly, after so much time its like the blueprints become tattered and hard to read
Rent free
average euromutt doesn't understand genetics as per usual
Terminal lung cancer at 35 isn't the genetic lottery, dude was inhaling some shit for a long time.
>It's RNG
That's what they want you to believe, but keep living in a polluted town, take intercontinental flights and eat your goyslop
>keep living in a polluted town

haha I wish I had a choice
Name one city that doesn't suffer from these issues
I don't know the capital city of Antarctica but I guarantee you the air is clean in that country.
>it's inevitable
Speak for yourself. I am anti-oxidant maxing, fasting at least once a month, meditating everyday and not eating goyslop. Unless a bus comes out of nowhere, I'll see you at 150.
>meme maxing
>meme fasting
>meme meditating
imagine wasting your time doing all this useless shit and not exercising, which multiple studies have shown decreases your overall all risk mortality rate. fricking moron. you think sitting in a corner with your eyes closed is gonna help you live a long life? lol
And yet cancer has only sky rocketed in modern times after cellphone towers went up and we lined the inside of our walls with AC current. Curious.
My favourite conspiracy is that it's microwaving food/ingredients that does us in, such a innocent but widely used tool.
Truly worth a hail mary if you're dying of cancer to try Keto.
i can't believe we reached this point of boomer invasion
This site is just facebook now. When do we make the next secret club?
It was a thing in ancient times but people back then tend to die of something else before cancer gets them
I know you're memeing but people really do believe "[disease/mental illness] rates went up in modern times, something bad must be happening to people".
It's modern American "moms" eat slop so the baby is exposed to a daily dose of McDonald's and not homemade meals including peanut butter sandwiches.
I avoided them for a long time (ie, I didn't "expose" myself to it at all) and by college I just stopped being allergic to both.
>all the sci-lets responding to this post

Yes, if you live long enough you will inevitably get cancer.
Wanna ask, so, we still don't know why our cells would just randomly multiply uncontrollably?
All the money goes into cancer TREATMENT, not cancer PREVENTION. Because all the profits are in the treatment. Think Mark, THINK
He's going to tell you to take your meds then leave the thread.
No one's gonna fund something if it isn't beneficial.
>the entire world is America
google Hayflick Limit and maybe complete 7th grade human biology when you feel up to it
>Cancer is just bad luck!
>Experts said it

But it is.
My great grandfater smoked since his 20s and died at the age of 103.
>people in blue zones live into their 100s
based, best way to put it to be honest
if you live long enough, you will inevitably get it
This man is right.
Hopefully we'll get human aligned AI swarms of NANOMACHINES SON by then.
you can't vaccinate against entropy. dna invariably corrupts
We already have those. The immune system. The problem is simply to aim it to target correct cells and making sure they actually do their job then cancer is cured.
>The Sword of Damocles of the human race
alright calm down there reddit
>What would you say to him
Shouldn't have gotten the jab.
>aged 35, never smoked
>lung cancer
There can be a lot of causes beside smoking but i have a feeling this guy wasn't smoking asbestos daily.
>Cancer's just a biological time bomb that can happen to anyone at any time.
Nope. Before modernity cancer was something almost unheard of. Shitty food, shitty lifestyle, shitty behaviors will lead to cancer, yes. Try not eating for a few days and letting your body recover from all that food, it will save your health in the long run.
happened to me at early 20s, still living with it
HAHAHA BALD FRICK YOU HAVE CANCER LITTLE b***h HAAHAHAHA
My new favorite hate-meme
I chuckle errytime
kek
i am not bald no, there are more treatments than chemo
I see you are going out the totalbiscuit way.
i had cancer at like early 20s, still alive and well almost 40 now,
knew a girl who died of a rare lung cancer at the ripe old age of 16. Never smoked, nobody in her family smoked, she grew up breathing fresh mountain air far away from the city. Sometimes you just lose for no reason.
>>for no reason
she was jabbed by israelites since her birth, she had no chance
he took the vaccine
>liposomal quercetin
I'm trans btw.
Because God loves you, trust the plan
Bad food (cost doesn't matter, only quality matter)
Dust
Water
My uncle (never met him) died of it at age 16, never smoked, no asbestos nothing perfectly healthy dude according to my parents. There's people put there who smoke drink and eat like shit and live to 85, there's people out there who eat nothing but health food, excercise daily, god tier shape and die at 20. Lifes weird.
Probably goyslop consumption
Shit happens.
Some people just get cancer for no discernible reason. And some people smoke 2 packs a day and make it to 90 cancer-free.
We do not understand the myriad of conditions we call "cancer" very well. We have some ideas about mechanisms and we can test substances on rats, but for the most part we are still just stumbling around in the dark after all these years.
One the flavors of israelite juice gives cancer or exacerbates existing cancer cells, trusting the science has never been more dangerous.
you dont deserve the white mans science, begone
Asbestos increases chance, but you can get a cancer of literally everything at any age. You just need 1 Gankercel cell which can't get a gf to start the process.
Howbdo they measure something like that??
Gluten is a silent killer
not the pizza and my buns frick off
Reddithomosexual, so probably vaping and addicted to marijuana.
deserved.
Life is unfair, you will learn it when you grow up.
Americans have extremely high cancer rates, it's 100% because of the chemicals in their slop
moron
HRT causes cancer
Just look at how americans make their food and you'll say 35 is a good lifespan
fiberglass and all the related products are fricking cancerous. Depending on how bad are work condition and your exposure to it, at the age of 40 you will look like someone on his mid 60's
he's from reddit so he probably got the vax
All it takes is a portrait hanged on your wall for your entire life that sheds particles to give you lung cancer

Thats why so meny people die so young, pollination form lead gas from planes.
vaxxed 😉
He’s black, they die all the time.
One of my uncles died at 35 of lung cancer. Never smoke, always ate heathy, but he did live in a polluted shithole
He got vaxxed
Cancer is prob more fun than starfield tbqh
There's nothing remotely fun about hospital stays.
>food is shit
>beds are shit and will hurt your back
>nothing to pass the time with
>can barely concentrate most of the time because of the pain/painkillers so any books you bring with you won't be read
>can't get a decent night's sleep because you're hooked up to some bullshit that either beeps or needs manual change
Do you have suicidal thoughts during these times?
not him but i had
i had to stay there for 2 weeks with a device hooked to my lung through my rips to remove water
i wanted to die so badly
I was in for a month, and kind of. It got really bad when the colostomy bag I just had installed suddenly started filling when I was asleep and I woke up to a wet and disgusting feeling, and had to watch a female nurse clean a literal butthole poking out of my gut while I was naked, emaciated and hadn't showered or shaved in three weeks.
Sounds like a fun night. Would unironically ask to be unplugged from life support.
I was on a ward with people like you for 8 days, shit looked like it really sucked and made me really not wanna have to go through that
Hot
i would have got a boner ngl
God bless nurses.
My aunt had to hospitalized and the amount of shit they have to put up is insane.
I was in for 3 days after having acute appendicitis and that was 3 days of no sleep, trash food and and having hallucinations from the anesthesia. Would not recommend. I also learned that morphine doesn't do jack shit for me.
hot nurses with dumptruck asses giving you free attention
You mean middle aged sociopaths taking their anger out on the patients.
>get admitted to hospital
>guy in bed next to me warns me the nurses turned his arm into a pincushion while putting the iv in
>guy in bed across from me says the same
>nurses arrive and jab me with the iv
>oops your vein moved
>it's a slippery one
>hold still and this will be over
>just one more big pinch
>other nurses show up and ask for a turn
>it moved again
>the vein is really small
Frick nurses. Frick hospitals.
Nurses and doctors are the absolute scum of the earth. They only pursue those careers for two reasons:
>money
>power
>being able to see people suffer
This is how I can tell you've never had to stay overnight in a hospital for treatment or surgery. You don't get hot nurses tending to your every beck and call 24/7. You get obese middle aged nigress CNA's fricking around on their phones, pocketing your medicine, going through your shit, trying to give you spongebaths with a disgusting sponge that they use on every patient, dragging you to the bathroom to watch you shit and piss.
There's nothing remotely fun about Starfield
>game is shit
>graphics are shit and will hurt your eyes
>nothing to pass the time with
>can barely concentrate most of the time because of the gameplay and anything you do won't be fun
>can't get a decent night's game session because you're hooked up to some bullshit that needs a "good PC" or needs mods.
Nah, some people love it there, you'd be surprised. They basically get to be treated and cared for like a baby again or it's better than their shitty lives and so they make excuses to be there.
Don't forget forgetting you're hooked up on IV and bending your arm
Burger healthcare might be shit, but at least you get painkillers. Here in Europe hospitals are super stingy when it comes to painkillers, probably afraid of creating morphine addicts or something, you'll be lucky if you get any at all.
I know a guy who went down in agonizing pain from pancreatic cancer. The doctor went on leave without oncreasing morphine dose.
This happened in Europe.
Not surprised.
Dunno what kind of ghetto hospital you visited but after I awoke from my operation I was on cloud nine, they gave me some good shit
>can't get a decent night's sleep because you're hooked up to some bullshit that either beeps or needs manual change
I live in the uk and spent 2 months in hospital. beds are comfy. the food is pretty good. nurses are nice. only thing is, i didn't get to enjoy much of the food because my bowels were paralysed.
the absolute worst thing about hospital stays is the other people you're stuck with. had one frickwit come up to my bed one night and threaten to kill me. spent a few nights sleepless because some fat hag was wreathing about in her bed screaming non stop. some old guy across the isle kept shitting himself.
and they charge you $50.000-100.000 per day if you are american
I dunno homie I was in the hospital for a couple weeks once and I just spent it drinking tea, eating beef jerky and playing pokemon ruby.
imagine holding up on life just to get to play starfield
and then finding out it sucks nibba's ass
This. I can't believe Bethesda, supposedly, worked on this game for 25 years and this is the best they can do. It's bad far outweighs it's good.
frick man why do you have to remind me of my own lung cancer? frick off
At least you can play starfield. Ungrateful c**t.
That's even worse
>tfw mid 30s lifetime smoker and don’t a frick about slopfield
feels good to be alive
it will happen eventually if you keep smoking, it is also harder to treat if it's caused by long term smoking
tell that to the 90 year olds who started smoking at 4 years old. nobody is built the same.
smoking doesn't kill, cancer does
it's also according to what you are smoking, too. if you are sucking back American Spirits by the pack, sure, but if you've spent your entire life smoking hand-rolled cigs you are much better off.
awww
That's hella cringe.
are you mad because you'll never be inmortalized in a game played and beloved my millions?
If someone does that to me my ghost is going to rape that homosexual every night in his sleep. Using dead people to promote your game is gross and anyone who does it deserves to have their butthole constantly leaking with ectoplasm.
But enough about Baldur's Gate 3
>immortalized in shartfield
No thanks
Not him, but it doesn't matter because when I found that note in-game, I didn't know who that was. That is despite having read
before. In fact, I thought it was about some Constellation npc I hadn't met yet.
>played and beloved my millions?
shut the frick up rajeesh
Honestly, I didn't even know who the "tribute" for. Thought it was a random letter to an NPC in game. Also, for all we know, he might be a pedo. Are you gays going to cry for him now?
anon 99.95% of players most likely won't even find that message, his fricking reddit post is more "immortalized"
and even then, there will eventually come a time when pictures of his post stop getting shared, and the hard drives that hosted them stop working
you're entire concept of immortality is flawed
alexander the great is immortal*, and even then, most of his life is still shrouded in mystery
homies die every day. Literally every AAA game that gets released most likely has at least 1 dead person who missed out on it. They just didn't go on social media whining about it.
>at least 1 dead person
Have some perspective dude, it's 10's of thousands
Imagine all the people who die in between buying the game and playing it.
(didn't read)
Shitskins
You need to have a nice day to make this world better
Sure mate.
From Bethesda's point of view it's easy content, they can just throw it in a random corner and it generates them positive press when people find it. It's a win-win.
aww thats so fricking gay
RIP 🙁
Couldn't even give him a proper memorial in New Atlantis wtf
is this next to the women get shit done coffee mug
Frick all those rude replies. This made me sad,i have lost few family members because of cancer.
Maybe Todd will put their names on a sticky note for you too?
Didn't they do something similar to this in Borderlands 2?
Yeah but they fully modelled and voice acted him, plus he gives out pretty strong rare weapons
Both Skyrim and Fallout 4 also had NPCs based on dead fans that didn't get to play the games
>"His name is derived from Erik West, whose internet alias was "Immok the Slayer," a visitor to Bethesda's HQ during Skyrim's development. Bethesda was so impressed with his knowledge of Oblivion that they gave him an in-depth tour of Bethesda studios and decided to create a character named Erik in his honor. Erik died of cancer six months before the release of Skyrim, hence Bethesda immortalized him in the form of Erik the Slayer."
>"Evan is a tribute to a Fallout fan's brother Evan, who passed away before Bethesda Softworks could deliver a care package of Fallout merchandise sent as a way of supporting the two brothers after their father had died. To make up for the delayed package, Bethesda promised to include Evan as an NPC in Nuka-World."

Damn, rest in peace Alex.
What's your legacy, Ganker?
>Anonymous's
Yes esl, when the last s in a word is an unvoiced s you use still use 's to make it possessive.
This is the most soiest shit I've ever seen this whole week.
>I'm gonna le die because of terminal cancer at 35
>anyway I'll post on leddit starfield board first about how this cancer is killing me and I cant consoom todd newest sloppa later, hopefully I dont get attention and updoot from people tee hee
>also, I hope the devs didnt read this and actually put my name in the game tee hee
>*fricking dies*
>get his name on sirsfield
>shitfield becomes the game that is shit and flopping and people openly hates this game
What will you do if you were in this homie situation lmao
Die, presumably.
rape, I'm not dying a virgin
Get myself euthanized if there's no hope of getting rid of the cancer. Having lost my father to it last year there's no way in frick I'd willingly deal with the deterioration.
>What will you do if you were in this homie situation lmao
I wouldn't do anything because I'd be busy being DEAD.
Brown turd world hands typed this post. Die slow and painful
You whitoids are literal sheep for these multi-billion conglomerates. Even your shitty politicians kneel to them.
You literally worship the shit that plops out of a cows butthole and wash yourself in their piss motherfricker
>calling someone an indian for not slopping ok the newest bethesda slop made by indians
I don't think you even know your stupid memetic buzzwords anymore, you pathetic corporate worshipping, vwhite Black person.
>white people are one person
keep calling us animals (goyim) and trying to control us and see how it ends.
you are filthy goyim and no one is *trying* to control you, you already are controlled like the domesticated beasts you are. You wont do anything because you cant do anything because you are nothing. It will end in your extinction once you have outlived your usefulessness, the day of which is fast approaching, practically already here, which is why you are getting replaced as we speak.
remember this post when you ask me why im "racist" folks.
and you, I will kill you.
>im racist because of an anonymous post on an anime imageboard!
No, you're racist because you are a simpleminded, foolish, worthless animal. While your betters are racist because we are superior to you. You won't kill me. You won't kill anyone. You can't even have a nice day. You will exist to serve until the faint meaningless life that is your life is snuffed out by forces outside of your control, never achieving or accomplishing anything besides servitude.
meaningless light*
Careful anon, karma can be a b***h.
He would still be alive very likely but he's been shitting blood and eating slop for years before he went to a doctor and by that time it was in his liver.
So this is where you went after jannies cracked down on deck threads? What a shame, you should've just died in the gutter like a good shitskin.
>To all my friends and fellow explorers.
>I'm always with you, out there in the starfield (trademarks)
>Love always.
>Alex Hay
>To all my cucks and redditors
>I'll always be with you out on the basedfields
>Alex Gay
He really wanted it to be known.
That took like 30 seconds for some intern to create in game. It's just a note with some text. They didn't even both to create a new model. That's not sad, it's pathetic.
hwat an gay
Holy cringe
This dudes soul is trapped inside Shartfield for all eternity.
What a grim fate...
See you, Space Cowboy…
>capitalizing on a young guy's death for goody points
Bethesda and Todd have no fricking shame
Do you think they reached out to him and asked him to write a little note?
I'm gay and my dick is small
>fake it
>become immortalized in a video game
is it that easy? Did he have to show something for it?
"Here is me dying" kind of way?
is there a mod on nexus where I can remove this piece of shit?
Named my ship after this lad. Rest in peace, dude. People on Ganker are only seething because they are such utter failures at life; so unlovable, so vile, so vitriolic, that they know if they died no one would remember them, so they lash out at others, finding solace in their attempts to bring others down to their depths.
you won't ever be a woman though.
lol, i dont even want to be one anyway. you're a frickin' freak if you have trannies on your mind at all times like that though, coombrained moron
i'm gonna beat my child because of this post
Ok thats actually pretty sweet. RIP dude who only wanted to play a video game

>when fate does you a solid

>he was a guy living his dream job from being a successful iOS app developer
>iOS app developer
>dream job
>make some shitty low-effort apps
>watch thousands flow in by themselves
Yes, being a successful app developer (emphasis on successful) is a dream job, precisely because it is barely a job, yet it gives you the financial security most can only dream of.
And the sum total of his legacy is a pity note in a shit game
that will be a factoid released in the years to come
>lived life to the fullest
>didn't enjoy a cigarette after a night of passoinate sex with a 9/10 prostitute
lmao
IDG why cancer patients never buy shitton of drugs and go out the fun way when they know they are going to die.
>IDG why humans never buy shitton of drugs and go out the fun way when they know they are going to die.
Saying frick it and taking a bunch of drugs and either dying painfully, becoming a vegetable or choking on your own vomit probably isn't very appealing
if i ever get cancer im gonna end it right there by slitting my throat
If I'm ever going to kill myself I will do it in public in a way that will inconvenience the maximum amount of people for the longest amount of time
Like what
Drown in the water supply. Poison the entire town just like that
jump off a building and land in the sidewalk or on someone's car. preferably when a family with multiple children are walking by
>go out the fun way
ODs arent fun. though if you know youre on your last day a generous morphine drip is probably the way to go. getting gently smothered by the giant blanket of a morphine nod is definitely more pleasant than the excruciating pain of cancer eating away your insides and shutting down your organs.

>In the last few months he 100%'d Hogwarts Legacy, Elden Ring and put in more than 1000 hours into Rimworld on PC. We'd play COD Warzone and Escape from Tarkov. Basically, the guy loved games and was the kindest, funniest dude I know.
If there's anyone who from Bethesda who would like to put him in Starfield or an ES game, feel free to reach out.
>He loved LOVED Bethesda games.
Bethesda games confirmed to be more cancerous than cigarettes
bruh
>terf legacy
ha better dead than alive
>In the last few months he 100%'d Hogwarts Legacy, Elden Ring and put in more than 1000 hours into Rimworld on PC. We'd play COD Warzone and Escape from Tarkov. Basically, the guy loved games and was the kindest, funniest dude I know.
Basically, gaming kills you. Frick that shit. I'm outta here.
Damn that sucks... I hope they let him play it before he passed. They've done that before.
>my only regret is that i wont get to play the newest bethesda garbag-ACK
He would prefer death by cancer to playing starfield
don't say that, it's not a pleasant way to go
Look at the bright side, if he died, he did so thinking this was not going to be a massive piece of shit
>game/movie/thing doesn't come out for at least 6 months
>"frick I hope I don't die before this comes out"
I think about this too often
>I.... I should've consumed more....
>ACK!
>*BEEEEEEP*
I'll unironically be thinking about all the vidya and anime I never got around to on my death bed
i'd think about how i would never be able to sneedpost again

>p-please bethesda put me in your game/give me a copy since I'm dying
tale as old as time
>spend entire life being a righteous God-fearing man

GOD IS GOOD!!! THESE ARE THE MIRACLES OF THE WORLD THAT COME TO THOSE WHO ACCEPT HIM INTO THEIR HEARTS!!!
Yeah, God is responsible for the good and bad events in your life. Still believe in him
It'll be rereleased like Skyrim is and will be the gold standard for space sims after several mods are made.
>will be the gold standard for space sims
Remember when God financially ruined Job, killed his wife and kids, covered his body with boils, and then refused to elaborate on anything when Job asked why he was doing this? It's okay though, God gave him a new family afterwards for remaining faithful!
it was mid frfr
>What would you say to him in the after live
"Starfield is like if Bethesda made your lungs"
>I'm gonna die very soon
>Nothing will matters to me
>Before I die, I'm gonna prostitute my illness out and gain likes and le upboats
>Also, I'm just gonna continue playing Xbox
It's a shame that these idiots are completely brainwashed by social medias and think it's the most important thing ever.
It's also sad that he's just gonna waste the rest of his time just playing video games.
What will you do if you only have months left to live?
yea he shouldve done physically intense tasks instead of relaxing his physical body
Yes. Climbing a mountain a day keeps the cancer away.
id do the same. probably do a shitload of drugs too. blow a couple stacks on the highest class hooker i can find and give her an a2m throat creampie. but my last days would definitely be playing video games and shitposting here.
goddamn reddit is full of attention seeking gays
I cry too easily
I can't enjoy Starfield. Everything feels so fricking half-assed. Bethesda relied on the "modders will fix it" mentality way too hard for this one.
It might be enjoyable in half a year with 30+ mods
He missed out on nothing. Cancer anon and liru, on the other hand...
At least he got to die with his dream intact
I am trying really hard to think of a game/IP I'd hate to miss out on if I was dying, but I can't think of one. Feels a little pointless, right? I would be much more curious about all the weird drugs out there that make you see god and let you talk with dead people. Ugh I don't get it. Makes me think of the guy that got to see the new Star Wars movie early before dying; why hinge EVERYTHING on being able to consume some piece of media before you go? It could never be good enough.
I mean what else could you realistically ask for and get?
Psychedelic drugs, special food (if you still have the appetite) like that olive wagyu beef. I think I'd just want to really dive inward with drugs and eat really nice food if possible. Pining for a video game as your dying wish just seems dystopian to me.
>the sibling you are closest to writing poems about your experiences together and they only share it with you and then they set it ablaze after you die. Only the two of you know its contents
Is this fricking AI or something?
Is it a compliment or a diss when someone thinks what your wrote is AI? I actually wrote that. I'm just super drunk and shitposting on Ganker
Is there nothing you have strong memories associated with?
Like if Sonic Adventure remake was announced and looked amazing, I'd be pretty sad if I had cancer and was due to die before Its release.
There's plenty of games I know I'd feel that way about.
If I was dying, I don't think video games would be at the top of my priorities.
Exactly, the reddit guy didn't have a life anyway, so how could he have died?
Good thing the lad isn't in this situation 15 years ago or there'd be actually good games he would have missed out on.
>smoke
>no cancer
>don't like shitty games
I guess having cancer is as genetic as being cancer.
Cancer scares me, cause even though I’m young, it still could happen whenever, and it feels like often when people notice something bad is happening, it’s already super advanced. But it’s not like there are frequent(well, not really) screenings until you’re much older, so you can just get kinda screwed.
>it still could happen whenever
some shit goes with everything
>I've known 3 people who had blood clots, all younger than 40, all died from it almost instantly and out of nowhere
Were they fat?
Two were not, one was an athlete and very fit, but the third one was overweight and had their stomach stapled and the clot happened to them within a year of the surgery, so that likely played a part.
Clots tend to be diet and or if you do nothing but sit around all day. Weird it'd happen to a fit athlete unless he was eating some real garbage or had some unknown medical condition.
>Blood clots in 30s
Jesus, did they eat only lard and put whipped cream on coffee and tea!?
*cough*
Tbh you could die whenever from other causes besides cancer.
>Car crash or ran over by a car
>Homicide
>Natural disaster
>Choking on food
While true, all of those could happen without warning, while cancer means you get a diagnosis, have to learn your chances of survival, and then just slowly go through the process, and if you aren’t gonna make it, you’ll probably know well ahead of time.
Atleast with most cancers you get to liva a couple of years and allowing you to get your fairs in order and do tje things on your bucket list.
But I do see the appeal in a quick death. It doesnt torture you as mentally since one doesnt have the time to process incoming death
literally almost got hit by a car yesterday by some b***h who was texting on her phone
would've been an interesting way to go
Well don't be, the chances are really low, even more so when you're young. If you're really worried you can make an effort to live healthier, stop smoking etc.
Also you can just easily check your balls with a flashlight, feel for lumps with your fingers and go to a dermatologist to get beauty marks checked, I did that a few years ago and they cut one out from the top of my head lel
Accidents, drugs, and homicide/suicide are all the leadest cause of death until like 40-50+
>Be terminal
>Worried you will die before playing a long awaited game
>Terminal illness goes into remission
>You get to play the game
>It's shit
>Hope is lost
>Nothing else to look forward to
>Get sick
>Die
He was dead either way.
he was on reddit begging for upvotes, im pretty sure he would've been one of those people that enjoyed the game
sirs… now must you redeem the kinofield
for alex
There was a movie like this called Fanboys, set in the 90s where a teen gets a cancer death sentence and he's a huge Star Wars fan. His friends convince him to take a road trip to Skywalker Ranch to steal an early cut of Phantom Menace so he can see it before he dies(the real release date he will already be dead). It's pretty funny all the way thru, and of course the movie sucks but the characters in the film don't know it yet
i bet his final moments looked like the ones of oblivion npc who ate the poisoned apple
>hnng
>argggh
>uggggh
>*ragdolls through the hospital bed*
Imagine all of the amazing beautiful things you could miss in life, and this guy was worried about not getting to play this absolute slop.
my only regret in life is I won't be there when they finally invent matrix
I feel like this would've been the video game equivalent of getting a visit from the new Ghostbusters cast
>Chest has been hurting for the past few months
I'm ready to ascend
from a lung cancer patient, you probably don't have lung cancer
by the time you feel pain in your chest you are probably spitting blood in which case it's stage 4
that's how mine was atleast
How long have you had it?
4 years
Are you gonna die bro
not for now no, who knows if it will come back tho
Is that likely?
not really no, cuz i responded well to treatment
but cancer cannot be cured, so i will always have it
Wtf so it shrunk or is contained and they can't cut it out without cutting you up too much?
it shrank and stopped spreading, for now
they cant cut it out
what a fricking Black person
you can stop avatargayging now
Very
That said, if you respond well to treatment, you can usually just kill the cancer early if it comes back. And the younger you are, the less likely it is that it comes back.
As stupid as it sounds, you most likely broke your rib.
Do you jerk off furiously? Could be just enlarged prostate.
I know some guy who nearly died of testicular cancer. If you ever feel discomfort in your balls, get them checked, bros. It might just save your life.
learn to fast bros. no other advice is needed.
fasting is a meme, you're supposed to live on a healthy diet in the first place
Diets peaked with our ancestors and they went without food often for obvious reasons.
I've never had cancer
Wrong you just didn't notice you choked that b***h right at the start
All of us have cancer every day but the immune system handles them 99.8% of the time.
You will eventually, unless you die first. It's inevitable for all of us.
>You should aim to spend as much time with your family and friends as possible.
why would I do that instead of enjoying vidya
You don't even play vidya, Black person. You're a (You) addict. Like the rest of us.
It's popular belief that time has no meaning in the afterlife so it's mythical that he has a huge backlog of great games to complete while we sit around doing nothing.
probably less cruel that he died. At least this way the dream of the Starfield that didn't suck major ass lasted for the rest of his life.
why do so many anons have cancer?
starts with v and ends in x
So you're telling me that going from shitposting on Ganker to shitposting on /x/ gives you cancer?
anons keep falling in a vortex?
violent sex causes cancer?
Gays take it up the ass and that's why they have increased rectal and colon cancer risk.
Same goes for HPV and HIV infections
How does frequent perforation of the anus cause rampant mutation and unchecked growth of the cells therein tho?
Cells healing can cause cancer. Same reason totalbitchbreasts got cancer and died.
HIV destroys your immune system, immune system is needed to destroy cancer cells.
Taken down by their own vermiform appendix, a sad fate for anon everywhere.
Yeah, all these poor bastards who had that shit for 4+ years... Can't believe they were dumb enough to get the v_x back before it even existed!
If you go only by social media posts then half the population either has had cancer, is dying of cancer or is in a hospital bed and has just beat cancer
if i ever get cancer i will just kms
hospitals are such a scam trying to keep people alive who would be better off dead
life isnt worth it if youre suffering all the time and state supported suicide assistance should be mandatory in every first world country
>anon notices some lump
>doctor tells him it's cancerous, but it alright they can just completely rem-
>anon grabs the doctors pen and kebabs his brain through his eye
it fricking sucks i wasnt born in 2200 or something when all people have uploaded themselfes into the cloud and get to have unlimited sex with their perfect waifus
people in the future will think of us in the same way as we think of people in the middleages and ask themselfes "how tf could anyone live like this?"
the human body is stupid and outdated
Your mother is stupid and outdated
Should have installed more RAM
>when all people have uploaded themselfes into the cloud and get to have unlimited sex with their perfect waifus
That won't be you being uploaded though. The copy of you will be having sex, you'll still be in teodiosis realis mundus.
That depends. If we can isolate the process of continued consciousness and gradually ship of theseus it over the course of several years into hardware replacement instead of bruteforcing it like conflip morons do, it won't be a copy.
iam sure we can find a way to upload ourselfes into the cloud without copying
basicly drag and drop
also if i kill myself while being uploaded theres a slight chance ill be reborn as the copy
don't be a moron, cancer is not a death sentence
i am alive taking a pill daily
Depends on cancer.
Pancreatic cancer even if caight early by luck you statisticallu have less than 50% chance of living more than 5 years.
also, 50% is an extremely high survival rate for cancer kek
pancreatic cancer kills 95% of the time if not caught early
treatments have changed a lot and online data is mostly outdated now
if you get cancer, remember that you are not a statistic
>born with an ultra rare form of artery hardening
>have survived 6 heart attacks
Ask me anything I guess. I've started a trial of a super secret that's made me heart attack free for almost 5 years now. Its going to market's in the next two apperently.
What does it actually feel like?
It's the worst pain I've ever experienced. I always see people say that stupid meme like "haha do you ever get that one random chest pain once a year and think it's time for you to die xD" and I can tell you it's beyond pain
>chest
Imagine lying down flat and someone sits on your chest FULL weight. The feeling in your heart feels like someone is squeezing it with their fist (if you ever read or saw jojo part 3 think that part where jotaro uses star platinum to stop his heart, its a squeeze feeling and its awful). Contrary to popular belief your heart isn't really on the left side. It's basically in the center with a chunk going to the left so 95 percent of the pain is in the centre while 5 is on the left side (most people think the full heart is on the left side)
>arm
Sharp pain shoots down left arm and burns for a while.
>other symptoms
Shortness of breath, MAJOR sweats, blurry vision
>myths
Some people say heart attacks can kill instantly but that's not exactly true, this is cardiac arrest which is MUCH rarer and happens usually due to genetic conditions or a heart attack that went too far.
It gets less scary but the pain is the same. It's a literal 10/10, those heart attacks that are symptomless with no pain are EXTREMELY rare and usually only happen in woman.
Why the frick do women get all the good hearts
Did it get easier the more you had?
Thank you for taking that risk. You probably helped in saving a lot of people in the future.
I thought a heart attack was basically a death sentence how have you survived 6?
Nah. The survival rate for heart attacks is quite high due to symptoms lasting a while. As long as you ring an ambulance you're golden (give or take). Apperently only 12 percent of them lead to death. Cardiac arrest on the other hand has a SURVIVAL rate of 12 percent. I've survived so many because:
>live with a family
>live literally right beside a hospital by luck
>have an internal monitor
Do you know what company makes the drug? Insider trading yo
Also glad to hear it's helping
>scared of death
>yet I won't know about it
How do I get over this?
iam not scared of death
iam genuinly more scared of all the pain and suffering before it
i hope i get a quick painless death
Greek philosophy. While death is not there you need not be afraid of it because you won't know it and when death is there, you need not be afraid of it because then you won't know it either.
>don't smoke
>get lung cancer at 35 anyway
How are your genes this shit?
it happens, enviromental issues are to blame most of the time
the good news is if you get it and its not from a smoking habit it's easier to treat
there has been a rise in cancer rate in young people since the 90s
Yeah because of the vax.
nah, the trend has been ongoing before covid
i got mine before covid
yeah pancreatic cancer is pretty extreme, but i am saying you don't need to off yourself just cuz you got told you have cancer
Smoking doesnt automatically gives people cancer. Given by his background like how he spent hours consooming video games slop, lets just assume he spent 35 years of his life on his mom basement, or a room with a bad air circulation or asbestos house like the first post said or whatever.
The moral of this story is go outside and dont spent too much time in your room, otherwise you'll be dead like this söyboy manchild on reddit whose probably getting buried with his funko pops collection
>go outside
>breathe in that smog filled city air
>get microplastics in lungs anyway like most of humanity does
You're fricked either way unless you live in the suburbs or countryside.
It's nigh impossible unless you have contacts with farmers or live near them.
Camping is also an option, you could even bring friends there
Those six hours of fresh air won't help you when you spend 99% of your life in shit conditions if you live in a city.
This fricking LARPing homosexual is just looking for upvoots. Frick this guy
Anon, he died.
Oh look, another LARPer
https://www.reddit.com/r/Starfield/comments/13epeat/umralexhay_the_guy_with_cancer_who_posted_2/?rdt=53067
Can we get some F's in the chat for a fellow gamer?
Look at those updoots... look at those internet points... look at those 'fellow cancer patients' who wrote paragraphs about having a cancer and getting hundreds of updoots...
pics or didn't happen. I don't know who this XRissor guy is, but he sounds like an upvoot-hacking LARPer
Dunno, this shit is suspect
Actually, anyone else remember when a redditor posted a photo of Der Coomer lying in a hospital bed with a caption saying "I finally beat cancer, and also covid too!" and THOUSANDS of redditors fell for it and upvoted it? Lol, lmao
Wait, I found it
Why do these sick people always act like total worshippers? They never show humanity "btw if it's worse than Oblivion I'll see Todd in Hell!"
Oblivion is kino though
I say this as someone who lost someone close to cancer. If it spreads, just stop treatment and start taking the pain meds and enjoy what little time you have left. I don't necessarily think doctors see money bags in a lost cause cancer patient, but at the very least the "you have this many months to live" line doesn't exist any more. They never tell you you're definitely going to die.
It started to be obvious with the person I'm talking about so it was still no surprise, but never got a date until one of the hospice nurses just said it will be tonight or tomorrow, when it was obvious because he wasn't response at all by that point.
>Was ready to die
>Adopted a dog
>Now I can't die because I know he will suffer without me
Feels bad man.
Frick bustard. When die I see your dog and kick it straight breaking rib bones
So the moral of the story is that people who consider committing suicide should get a pet and start genuinely care for it so they get better?
I can get behind that.
>low IQ Facebook anti vaxers have arrived
Time to leave the thread and let the morons scream
Your concession was accepted before you even entered the thread.
>nurse
Lol
This guy let the grift get to his head
damn, immortalized in a shitty bethesda game. probably the closest thing to purgatory
ive seen anons post about having cancer and wonder how they are sometimes.
Why is this thread just another /misc/ spergout
/misc/ is filled with medical experts obviously
Man, there sure are a lot of premature deaths than average now after trying to force a medical experiment that turned out to not even work and wasn't even tested for safety as shown when the papers they tried to hide for 70 years came out.
Take your antipsychotics already
I'm not a israelite though?
>everyone who tells me to take my meds is a israelite
unironically i don't think meds will work for you anymore
please explain new zealands stats then?
DOESNT COUNT SHUT UP
hahaha every time
New Zealand stats include anyone getting sick or dying in anyways as uninjected up to a month after being injected, and then uninjected 3 months afterwards.
Nice try israelite hook nose, we all know liberal land new Zealand got all the saline shots for being good goys
The tests were so good, they had to end them early and inject the control group then try to bury them for a lifetime.
>edgelords screaming HAHAHA DIE!!!
>Indians threatening to kill dogs
>sub 80 IQ anti vax boomers
>ESL's
Yup, it's Ganker time
He can rest in peace, game was shit, he didn't miss much
I'm not anti-vax, even got the booster twice.
It became endemic?
Well, judging by how hard they were peddling the booster, it doesn't seem like they were thinking about ending the panic. It was weird how everyone and the media just sweep it under the rug. It's not just one more booster mind you, they were planning for 2 or 3 more IIRC. It's creepy how fast our attention and focus changes according to what the media wants to feed you.
I remember this being talked about at the very start of it all, when they were first discussing lock downs. People are primed to act that way - an unknown threat is frightening, but once you have been living with it for years the edge wears off.
That is true. But frick, these shitty companies that tried to profit off of people's fear can frick right off.
what? the "covid panic" is still here
my oncologist is giving me another booster next month
the media just loves to focus on the current thing that gets them the most views, people got bored of covid
>on death bed

>lung cancer, never smoked
>tfw smoker
I didn't know getting hyped for starfield gave you cancer lmao
I have stage IV cancer, but I don't have Starfield thankfully.
I'm honestly more afraid of potentially having a heart attack than getting cancer.
I tend to work a lot just sitting down for hours on end, which ends up making my legs usually hurt and I get the feeling at some point it might cause problems with blood clots forming and possibly traveling to my heart and killing me.
Take walks and do squats.
Problem fixed.
I do usually take 30 minute walks out everyday but I feel like that's not enough.
Which is why squats are useful, they are good cardio.
happened to me, got saved by ambulance and now i have to take bloodthinners for the rest of my life
move around every hour
Same but with hitting my head after slipping on something
>worry about dying
>die from the extra stress
I hope none of you ever have to watch someone you love wasting away to cancer.
We're not making fun of his cancer dipshit
I never said you were, professor.
Stop posting ambiguously, homo
shit sucked
t. dad passed away from bladder cancer
Cancer is bad, Dementia is worse.
My nan(great grandmother) died from leukaemia and my other nan(her daughter aka my grandmother) has bladder cancer.
>That one episode of teen titans go where there is just that one random kid in their tower and everyone is just being nice to him
that was such a strange episode and I thought they were gonna prank him or something. Was he like a real fan or something?
Real fan from the Make-a-Wish Foundation
aww ok thanks I really thought I had fricking imagined it. Thats cool for him
what a gay. I smoke a pack a day and I'm perfectly fine.
God spared him.
The last time I was excited for a game was fricking callisto protocol and it was because it came out on my birthday.
The disappointment was already immeasurable then but if I was weeks from dying and that was the last shit I was looking forward to I'd have killed myself sooner.
>Looking forward to Todds lie #13234132
>"It was shit. You didn't miss anything."
God I wish I was him, I'm also 35 and being looked after by my parents and not playing starfield but I won't be dying anytime soon
what do you have?
A lack of ambition
Imagine having cancer and looking forward to this game and then Borefield ends up being his last experience on earth. It's a mercy if he never got to play it.
RIP
fake account made by bethesda
>take break from Ganker for a few days due to work
>come back
Yep, Gankereddit is still getting 400+ reply threads to screencaps of other social media sites because nobody in charge gives a frick about anything.
>35
>never smoked
>lung cancer
Say what, now?
>stopped treatment
Butwhythough?
treatment takes an incredible physical, mental, and emotional toll on people.
Shut the frick up.
sensationalism
he didn't post it for you, he posted it for himself
It works better than your dumb ass would believe right now.
t. Steve Jobs
>Promotes fasting
>Something that costs you absolutely nothing
>t. Steve Jobs
Ishiggydiggy
Steve Jobs tried to cure cancer by fruit juice.
Based. Fenbendazole works too. Cancer is and always was parasites.
I don't think playing games is such a good hobby anymore bros....
Traumadimmers are the biggest obnoxious homosexuals on the planet. You see them in stream chat too.
>hey I know everyone is having a great time, allow me to ruin everyone's mood by dumping my personal trauma.
lol @ redditors
>I'm gonna die soon
>My only regret is I couldn't CONSOOM more 🙁
He missed out on the ultimate filter of a game
He lived for 11 days after Starfield was released but if he could play it I don't know.
he apparently died 12 days after that post did the delay even affect him?
He was probably clinging out to hope that he could've endured that far, if the delay hadn't happened.
the saddest thing about watching my dad battle cancer wasn't knowing that he was going to die, it was how he lost interest in just about everything. baking, bands, music, technology, and the worst of all his sense of humor. i didn't hear him laugh for last several years of his life.
i only got him to smile once when i showed him that picture of schizoid man smiling.
Jesus why even live if you're going to be like that
>dying of cancer
>doesn't live the last years debtmaxxing your name into oblivion living like a fricking king
but why
>guy won the cancer lottery
>thinks only about consumerism
lmao, may as well die faster
>we're probably going to have threads like this for Skyrim Grandma because she'll most likely be gone by the time ES6 comes out
Heard she's already fading, kinda turning into a b***h which signals dementia.
I wish I died before elden ring so I wouldnt have been disappointed
if you smoke cigarettes you are a traitor to your own species. your life is worth less than the box your cigarettes come in
