I just finished the Phantom Hourglass and I had tonnea of fun.
I'm gonna play Spirit Tracks next since I already have the game but after that game, what Zelda game should I play next?
I have played alot of Zelda games when I was a teenager but I've only recently gotten back into Zelda, the only game I ever completed as a teen was Wind Waker as I found many Zelda games to be hard.

I recently wanted to replay some zelda and decided on link between worlds. It's surprisingly good and I think a lot of people slept on it, I highly recommend.
I played that one but I couldn't get into it at the time. I definitely will play it since I already have a ds.

Be warned btw, the panflute sections in Spirit Tracks can be a major pain in the ass because of the shitty mic controls. I think I unironically stopped my last playthrough halfway through because of that.
I remember that in Spirit Tracks. I don't remember much though. I remember you have a train and the train gets a cannon at some point, Zelda is a ghost and their is a tower
The tower functioned much like Temple of the Ocean King in Phantom Hourglass, from what I remember.

Obviously you should play the two pillar titles:
Ocarina Of Time (N64, uncensored v.1.0 NTSC), and Majora's Mask (again, N64 NTSC).
After that, choose your poison.
From 2D side, I recommend Link's Awakening DX and Oracle games.
From 3D, Skyward Sword was the last great "classic" style Zelda, before Breath Of The Wild reinvented the whole series. Still a great game, with crazy amount of freedom and TECHNOLOGY you seldom see in AAA games nowadays.

I beat both OoT and MM when I was like 10-11yo. When they came out. Without guides or internet, because no one had that shit in my country.
I'd already played the NES Zelda games (1-2) before that, but those I never beat. But in my defense, I was like 6.

Two of the best games in the franchise since the N64 days. Also some of the highest rated, best selling games of all time.
TP is a fricking pathetic mess with 50+% running in a leash in an empty world, with the most forgettable dungeons and gear in the franchise, half baked plot, tons of disposable characters, and the goddamn brown+bloom mid-00s console graphics style.

I dunno, maybe they're harder to remember because of how large/long the dungeons are, compared to what you have in BotW/TotK.

It's the Zelda game I can say I had the least amount of fun playing. I've played all the main Zelda games save for Link Between Worlds and the CDI games that I'm sure Nintendo doesn't even consider existing.

Well to be honest, when I was a kid, most of the games I played where Mario games so I always found Zelda a bit difficult.
The pillars are OOT and ALTTP. MM is really good/great but it’s a weird side adventure. ALTTP is the definitive 2D zelda
The original NES game is also great, though it can be confusing to a modern gamer without a walkthrough since there's a lot of cryptic shit.

Their is the giant monster you fight in the volcano with one eye, a giant plant, another nintendo floating hand boss, a giant bird on top of the fortress Links sister is being held in, a fat ghost with a lantern, a flying sand worm using antlion powers, a puppet version of Ganondorf and Ganondorf himself.
Apparently there were supposed to be two more dungeons but the game was rushed and instead we got that Triforce shard hunt that filtered a lot of people.

ALttP. If you want more but in 3D, Ocarina, Majora and TP. More in 2D, Link's Awakening DX, then the oracles and Minish Cap.
To be honest, I'd say try the Oracle games and Link's Awakening. If you want to go for the 3D games, go for Skyward Sword HD. The HD version gives you the option to use button controls instead of motion, you can skip cutscenes from the start instead of having to wait for Hero Mode to do it, Fi chiming in has been toned down a bit, and a couple of other things.

It’s worse than the cdi games because the cdi games gave me an untold number of laughs through the years and still entertain me to this day. Sometimes when I am hungry I will do my best king impression and say “I wonder what’s for dinner”

I remember barely getting far in Skyward Sword, because I was stuck on a part where you control a bird with motion controls I think. As a result, I do not remember a single dungeon or boss or what happens to any of the characters in the game because I couldn't get past a part in the early part of the game.
The Wii controls were abysmal. There's a reason why they gave you 6 hearts instead of the usual 3 at the start.
That's exactly why I recommend the Switch version. Most people who couldn't stand motion controls or just couldn't get them to work on the Wii seemed to be good with the button controls on Switch version. Personally I didn't have issues with the Wii version, but I know a lot of people did.
With Wii the learning curve was rather steep with the controls from what I remember. It wasn't TOO horrible once you got used to them. With that said I do remember that one scorpion boss that you had to stab in the eye or something, and I couldn't get that move to work for the live of me because of the finicky controls. Shit sucked.
Also Fi was just beyond annoying.
Yep, Switch version it is. Pretend the Wii version doesn't exist at this point. Still, I also don't want to discount, again, the Oracle games and Links Awakening. Look into these games because I feel like you'd really get a lot of fun out of them. Also, Link Between Worlds is probably the community favorite 2D Zelda game to date. Try looking into that one too.
Their is one thing I remember, is their a bully character in Skyward Sword? I remember a character being a dickhead jock and I also remember steam coming out of their nose for some reason.
I'm thinking you may already know who he is, but I'll just say he's one of the fan favorites when it comes to fans of Skyward Sword (and in some cases just fans of Zelda games in general). If you play the game, I think you'll get why he's liked so much.
Well I played the game but I could barely get any further than the early part in the beginning but I do remember a character.
What's the best way to play OoT for the first time? Is that PC port any good or should I just fire up the original ROM in an emulator?
OoT 3ds remake wasn't too bad either, compared to the shitty MM remake.
Pc port unless you can stomach 20fps (which you do get used to). MM is almost de-compiled and work has already started on its port iirc too, so if you wait for that there wont be a jarring transition between oot pc and emulated mm
PC port is good. Really any way to play OOT is fine. There are lighting issues on the 3DS but they aren’t game destroying
All the 3D ones are very good except for Skyward Sword. A Link to the Past, Link's Awakening, Minish Cap, and A Link Between Worlds are excellent top-down ones.
What those everyone here think of Linebeck? He was my favourite character in Phantom Hourglass.
