What’s a game that is best played on its hardest difficulty?
Picrel is a lot of fun on Hardcore mode and truly makes every item count like a survival horror game should.

That game is best played on "Full Unlock" DLC. Running around with an unlimited Gatling mini gun and unlimited rocket launcher is fun.
An anon after my own heart.
Yeah just don’t tell anyone. My friend caller me a b***h because I googled all the puzzles, he would probably lose all respect for me if he knows I bought the infinite ammo dlc. But worrying about my ammo and heals is way too stressful, it’s legit wearing down my body the longer I play.
Its your game and youre free to play it how you want. That said, I'm obligated to call you a homosexual. That feeling you're describing is the intended effect of survival horror games. Consider them an endurance test, like going for a hike and use it to build character.
Black person why are you playing a survival horror game then, it's supposed to make you stressed
The whole reason for Mr. X's gimmick in the game for example is to keep you on your toes when you've finally gotten comfortable around the police station.
>Mr. X
He gives me way too much anxiety to replay this game.
>But worrying about my ammo and heals is way too stressful, it’s legit wearing down my body the longer I play.
You legit should be wearing a skirt and sitting in your friend's lap, not playing video games.
you could had just speedrun the game for that reward
You are a pathetic b***h Black person, why getting the game in the first place?
That being said, you are entitled to do with your money as you please.
>paying for dlc when you can just use a trainer for free
why are modern gaymers so stupid
its boring as hell and you're a homosexual
homosexual and b***h pussies
Gitaroo Man
Going full predator on unsuspecting africans is the true way to play.
Kingdom hearts
Recent titles I played for me are: Xcom 2 (iron man) and Doom.eternal
halo 3, halo 1 and 2 on legendary is brutal not metal
Alien Isolation
fully utilized Xenomorph ai. So much goddamn fun
Items should not be shown on the fricking map, it completely casualise the experience and there's only two scenarios instead of 4 most overated remake of all time, the original is still far superior
>What’s a game that is best played on its hardest difficulty?
Definitely not any western game. They fall apart on harder difficulties.
RE4 on professional (original NTSC Gamecube version) is fantastic.
The Doom series.
It’s still too aeasy on hardcore
Such a waste. We have plenty of dumbed down, standardized ots shooters, why did they think we need another with an re2 skin?
REmake3 was bad but playing on the harder difficulties was fun. Nemesis running at you at mach 5 is terrifying
Replaying Titanfall 2 right now on the hardest. I'm having the time of my fricking life.
I've played through RE4 on Professional 9 times or more
GC > Wii > PC >>> the rest
It's amazingly balanced for a first run on hardcore. Was always low on resources so had to carefully consider next actions, always felt tense. Maybe just my personal experience but I ran out of ink ribbons right in the middle of the campaign, where X starts appearing, I think they designed it like this on purpose so he seems far more impactful. Really felt like a true survival horror.
So disappointed with 3make, by comparison, even in Hardcore first-run, always had a shitload of ammo and heal, Nemesis is a scripted joke, infinite saving everywhere, dodge roll with auto aim trivializing all zombies. Outsourced rushed garbage. It badly needs some mods to add ribbons back in, remove the dodge, add Nemesis random appearances and fix the resource balance. It's tragic how little Capcom seemed to care, when just some small tweaks could salvage it to acceptable levels.
I like it when games remix enemies on the harder difficulties. Ninja Gaiden and DMC for example. Can't remember or find other games that do this.
For me it's
>Leon B
>hardest difficulty
