Both for the pc and mobile, with mobile and pc being different in game mechanics and graphics.

14 years ago I thought the future of MMOs was in korea since they were doing all of the gameplay mechanic innovation like with vindi, dragon nest and tera but somewhere along the line they stopped for mobile tier gameplay with even more rng gacha systems than what they had in 2006. Guess they figured that it wasn't worth it since they realized they don't even need to have good gameplay to get addicts to spend thousands of dollars on microtransactions. Grim reality.

It's like a very, very bad version of those digitalized actor capture used during the SNES era.

It's because they apply rim lighting only to the character model at all times. It makes the character look good but it does make the character lighting not match the background.
Nah, it's worse than that.
The character doesn't get its lighting from the environment, it has a light source that only affect it and is in a fixed position no matter how you turn. Body's light direction doesn't even match the character's own shadow.
Doesn't help that the environment/mobs use a different art-style and polycount, so on top of the completely wrong lighting you got the "I dropped 5 different asset packs into my first Unity game" effect on top of it.

I don't mind K-MMO staying in Korea. They have nice character creators but the game are always the most inhumane skinnerbox slave simulators, its unreal. They have no value outside of recording girls dancing and posting webms. If KMMO was its own genre it might be the worst one on the market.
HIT2 is exactly one of those. Combat and quests are automatic and your character model is unlocked via gacha, with no way to generate free gacha rolls except for the odd handout here and there. Your stats and skills are dramatically improved with rarer tiers of character.
Koreans are extremely good at graphics and gameplay. Things such as outfits and weapons and armor, along with bosses is something they adore doing it. But when it comes to game mechanics, they just use the usual PAY2WIN, nothing interesting on that area and the excruciating grind they use. I'd say these are their weak points. Story should be handled by someone else and level progression and the what is worth in the payshop should be handled by someone else.
But they sure beat anyone in character creation. Which should not be like that since the USA has a frick ton of money and tech to surpass it. Could be that the anime industry produced better artists than the comicbooks variant on us?
