Tonfa is basically the least exciting weapon I can possibly imagine. It's just blunt DS. I hope we actually see a real hybrid sword / gunner weapon of some kind. That said, I think CB does a really bad job feeling like a hybrid weapon, so we'll need to see what they can cook up.

Things that need to be in the next PS exclusive MH: >no more lock on, you have a right stick, use it >bring tools back, no insta-resource collection, no crafting shortcuts either >flexing after consuming potions so you have to commit to healing and are properly punished for being bad >no damage numbers, more immersive again >paintballs. Just paintballs. Make finding and tracking the monster a real thing again. >no special moves or evasion options >you're only allowed to eat once before a quest

Honestly, I think there is nothing but slop in store for this franchise, I loved world, I liked rise despite being an ESG compliant cashgrab, seeing this development, other capcom titles, and the current gaming climate, it is now completely obvious it's nothing but downhill from now on.
