I don't see much of a similarity. Dark Souls including its open world entry don't have nice graphics for starters so how could they be tricking the player with style? I personally don't enjoy them but they are fundamentally about gameplay.

Free Radical / Crytek UK had not released a game since before Homefront 2 in 2014, which was finished and released by Dambuster officially. how the frick does a game studio just flounder around finishing zero games for a decade? I can only imagine they had little behind the scenes deals to help other studios without official credit. they must have been doing something all these years.
I was quietly promised a Ghost of Tsushima PC port at some point I think and I'm still waiting for it. Only Playstation game I've played in the last decade that I actually enjoyed.

Both where announced two and a half years ago and the latest info we got from either of them is that Horii was play testing DQ3 wich may not even come out until late next year.
As for DQXII, who knows when we will get any info let alone a release date.
yakuza 8 and DBZ BT4 are the games I wanna play coming out this year, nothing else I'm too bothered about. Managing my expectations for BT4 because it's probably not gonna be any good but part of me wants to believe
