exploration and collection aspects are fun
story is fun. events are usually pretty varied and interesting.
daily grind is a bit tedious but they've made it better since release.
gacha mechanics are inherently stupid but as long as you get at least one semi-decent main dps character, you can clear 95% of the game content as f2p and the other 5% is who cares challenge mode stuff like spiral abyss (with good strategy and a bit of luck on pulls you can clear that just fine too).
overall it's an 8/10 for me. obviously the game would be immensely better if there was no gacha and you just unlocked characters after completing their character story quests.
Usually a girl just doesn't interest me at all, or i want to breed her.
But Furina somehow managed to create a new spot in my mind. A girl i just want to raise and protect from all pain.
I don't know what to do post-C3R1... I want to play some Honkey for HSR Raiden, but I don't want Dr. Ratio in my account (unless I can reject the invitation). Semi-drop Genshin and just focus on dailies (after Lantern Rite), and minor events, or aim for C6R1 next year...

I love listening to Furina's dialogues in JP, EN and CN. They're all great for different reasons. Can't think of any other character who got so much love from all relevant languages.

daily grind is a bit tedious but they've made it better since release.
gacha mechanics are inherently stupid but as long as you get at least one semi-decent main dps character, you can clear 95% of the game content as f2p and the other 5% is who cares challenge mode stuff like spiral abyss (with good strategy and a bit of luck on pulls you can clear that just fine too).
overall it's an 8/10 for me. obviously the game would be immensely better if there was no gacha and you just unlocked characters after completing their character story quests.

I love listening to Furina's dialogues in JP, EN and CN. They're all great for different reasons. Can't think of any other character who got so much love from all relevant languages.
Take Itto for example, his EN VA is just top fricking notch, but his JP VA, while more famous and just as passionate fails to deliver the little "things" beyond the script. Same, with Neuv. His EN sounds exactly as i wanted, and while his JP is a very good VA, he comes off as too insecure (probably due direction, i know Fontaine VA director was new). Not that EN was spared of that, as Neuv's VA redid the lines once he understood the character better, apparently due lack of EN direction telling him who Neuv is.
