but the true appeal was all of this blinding you from the fact that the devs treated you like shit and expected you to play this game as if it were a second job that you had to minmax instead of having fun with
Gambling addicts. I dont give a shit how predatory this game has gotten. Destiny 1 was so fricking and to this day have no idea what the frick morons saw in it. The gameplay was mediocre, the "bosses" were bulletsponges and the gameplay was generic as frick. Story non existant, and end game was super bulletsponges. Raids are nothing special.
Milk them dry and turn it into the biggest israeli scam you can because destiny players are so moronic and brainrot that they deserve it. Even the guys complaining and bad mouthing the game are saying "i'm still gonna play it" like the moronic fricking cattle they are.
It was fun initially until you realize how grindy it was. And now everything is like piecemeal DLC/pay-for-access and cosmetics. I'm glad I got out 4 years ago.
PVP was fun as hell in the Crucible though for a time.
Hundreds of hours playing pvp with this game, it's just gay that you have to buy more dlc, grind lame ass missions, and do events to grt mew guns to stay viable in pvp
The worst thing about destiny 1 and 2 imo is how ass the weapon variety actually is, almost every gun in each category has the same basic design and animations, it's all down to autistic number differences which is complete ass.
Because they took the Halo aproach to weapon design wherein they make a few weapons that are distinct from each other but then expanded them to "general" weapon types where all the guns are just variations of each other in order to facilitate the MMO like grind.
I like when a new """expansion""" comes out so i can watch the weirdly high budget cutscenes and story on youtube without having to spend a dime, i wonder what the witness is gonna do inside the traveller, i hope we see inside sometime
For a game that barely has a story they have a sickeningly good lighting system that makes every cutscene look amazing. I just can't understand why they removed so much of the existing story. Current new player experience vs OG campaign game launched with is pathetic at best.
