Path of Exile miles ahead of everything else. Best builds, loot, crafting, bossing, skill tree, optional content. Best item filter and stash too. Crazy how a few kiwis in their garage totally BTFO out of Blizzard's pile of dog shit that is Diablo 3 and 4.

i personally think loot filters are the most basic of the basic of things in an arpg and it's not hard to implement something grim dawn style where you can just press a check box to not see things.

all you need as that famous 3rd party software is filterblade that makes filter easily for you with couple of clicks and its officialy supported by ggg. Then if you're tradecuck you use awakenedpoetrade to have fast shortcut to check the price of an item
if 2 is a lot then you can kys ingame. tft discord is completly optional and you can clear whoel game without even touching that shithole. It takes less than 1 minute to downlaod APT and filterblade and you do it once(fitlerblade once per league)

I like PoE but having to do it for the countless time is both frustrating and unfun. Last Epoch has got it right with the shortcuts.

Enough for it to be worth checking out. They update it every season with cool new shit as well. It’s a shit ton of fun to keep up with. I have to avoid playing it though because I have addiction problems and that game has easily taken over my life in the past.

It expands heavily upon the shit in D2, so if you haven’t played D2 before then you probably will want to consult a wiki at some point.
Even if you don’t I think you can get the full D2 experience out of it, though. All of the shit the mod adds is mostly just extra mechanics to keep the game feeling fresh and interesting.

What is the endgame in grim dawn like?
i like grim dawn but the endgame is definitely a weak point. there's no additional character building after you hit level 100/55 devotion points, so it's just an item grind. the dungeons quickly feel too easy and depending on your build endgame bosses will likely be too hard. the only in-between is shattered realm but grinding the shards up to an acceptable level is actually such a moronicly boring slog (you start at shard 1, each shard has 4 floors or "chunks", you ideally want to farm 70-71). for me personally i get bored pretty fast after hitting 100, even with easy upgrades still available
