Wrong board
xbox controller just works
+1 for xbox
+1 for xbox series one
Buffalo SNES controller
SN30 Pro 2
did they fix stuck vibration from the first model?
Stuck vibration? I have the SN30 Pro+ and I never had this issue. I did have it with a 360 controller and an Xbone one with the wrong drivers though.
yeah vibration on the SN30 Pro+ sometimes does not stop, in GTA 5 and some racing games very occasionally. had to turn it off in most games, has been reported for years on leddit with no proper fix unfortunately
Maybe it's the driver on xinput mode, I don't know what to tell you. I had this happen in Dirt 3 with the controllers I mentioned, but not this one. Hell, GTA V I did play for a while too with it, just not online. Maybe update the firmware? It does have an annoyance now with the newest versions of the firmware where you can't both use a profile and have the blue light turned off but otherwise no issues here.
I tried all of the suggested (older) as well as the newest firmware but it does not help in all cases. I never ever had this issue with an original Xbox360 controller or Steam Controller (on topic: I do not recommend a Steam Controller), could well be an issue with Xinput mode but I haven't delved very deep into the issue
Otherwise its fine, I'll have to live with it I guess. Thanks though
DualShock of course.
>gyroscope for wiiu/switch emulation
>trackpad for games with fricked controller support
>lets you use playstation now
>less moronic layout
I don't understand why anyone would use an Xbox controller.
The elite controller is far superior. The difference is night and day
>DualShock of course.
You mean PS4 or PS5?
The PS5 doesn't use DualShock controllers. Well, you can use one for PS4 games, but you really have no need to.
I've only ever used the PS4 one, but the PS5 version looks pretty similar.
PS5 is now DualSense, but pedantica aside I've had issues keeping the PS5 controller paired with my PC, whereas the PS4 one connects properly when it starts up.
I just bought myself a wireless series X controller, worked perfectly on Ubuntu
dualsense just werks
Xbox 360 wired
idk about the latest generation but DS4 runs at higher poll rate when connected via bluetooth making it superior to the competition
Yeah and it also lasts like 8 hours, which makes it not worth it. Glad I sold that piece of garbage.
I always have a charger below my desk for controller and smartphones etc.
Whenever it gets to like 5% i just plug it in and can still keep playing until it's good again, the cable is like 20 feet anyway.
Not the Xbox Series controller. What a piece of shit.
KingKong Pro 2,it has hall effect joysticks that will never drift, only problem is that it has an integrated battery.
Switch Pro controller or the actual Steam Deck
The Xbox Series controller reports two different battery levels to Windows, both of which are static and both of which are inaccurate. The Bluetooth battery level is always 50%, and the XInput battery level (the one in the Xbox game overlay) is always at "Critical".
This has been an issue since 2020. You'd think that Microsoft could figure this shit out since they make the controller and the software, but apparently that's too hard. The only way for a user to fix it is to buy the Xbox Wireless Adapter, and I don't think they even fricking sell it anymore.
im using a series x controller and have no issues so far, everything just works. some people say this pad has drift problems but i havent encountered any. it frequently goes on sale for about $40 so i'd say wait for a deal if you want to save some cash.
There is no objective best.
A lot of people still love the 360 controller, most people probably use the Xbox One controller at this point, but i like the DualShock 4 the most.
It's the most comfortable imo, best dpad, great buttons and triggers over and i always liked the analog placement more.
I tried the Dualsense for a while, but the texture always makes it feel like it's about to slip out of of my hands.
My "PC game" doesn't need a controller to function, but it's better with a controller.
Technically a keyboard is the same as a controller, it just happens to have a hundred and so keys and the layout isn't ideal for games besides FPS
>playing racing games on a keyboard
do americans really
>I only play manly games made for hardcore men like me
>*opens Excel to keep track of inventory*
>bet you can't do that with a controller!
>open excel with a controller
the xbox elite if you pay for rewasd or the like to rebind the paddles to additional inputs.
Its moronicly expensive but it is the best.
The switch pro controller just perfectly fits my dainty hands ^^
what game does Ganker play
DualSense, because steam config allows real gyro as raw input if you want to set that up for controller games that have aiming sections.
It's also very comfortable.
Don't use a gamepad kids. israelites invented gamepads to make you forget how to use Keyboard and Mouse. They want you to become weak and dumb.
