Torchlight is one of the simpler ARPGs, but if you're just in the mood to click buttons and get loot then Titan Quest, Grim Dawn, Chronicon, and Last Epoch are all fine. Heroes of Hammerwatch is a rougelike dungeon crawler but has extremely robust permanent progression.

Try Dins Curse its graphically weak but has the caveat of having active events where quest bosses get stronger or try to kill the town you spawned from.
Titan Quest is pretty good and simple.
its great if youu just use the base game and ignore all expansions

oh yes the path of exile wannabe. shame it didn't stick to diablo 2 style bosses for first half the game was good but then lagon steps in and its SIMON SAYS TIME while the boss is immune to everything to make the game "exciting!".. I fricking hate POE boss designs
The bosses are piss easy though.

Torchlight 2 is pretty good. There's also things like Noita and DeadCells or you can go for Path of Exile, Grim Dawn is also good. Sacred GOLD is older but still great, same with NoX or Divine Divinity.

I switched to playing roguelikes, continuous grinding doesn't feel that different from a resetting grind.
I just play Diablo 2 and watch builds on Youtube. Whenever I try to play Grim Dawn or PoE I search at guides and got overwhelmed and quit. Every single time.
They should really make a game that's just the map-running portion PoE and T2. Having a campaign feels superfluous in some of these games.
