TerraFirmaGreg >Greg >TerraFirmaCraft >No bloat >Russian slavjank >no bullshit recipes like in GTNH (durr, you must spend 2000 stainless to export liquid oxygen for no reason) >no infinite resources other than cobble, which is costly in terms of power.
How much microcrafting is there? I played tons of tfc years ago and I liked the early stuff that greg expanded IC2 with but I tuned out after the sheer bloat
As much as regular greg has.
Steam age greg simplifies TFC, and once you get an EBF there's almost no need for crucibles and anvil except for tools.
Every tech age reduces it a bit, early EV unlocks AE2 autocrafting.
Crafting calculator is also nice to manage it.
I just want to know what the best way to play with mods/custom maps is without paying in current year
last time I checked you need external clients like curseforge for mods?
>Never understood the appeal of turning minecraft into factorio
Factorio was born from modded Minecraft. Without that appeal there would be no Factorio. You might as well have said you don't understand the appeal of automation.
I haven't played any of the modern packs btw. Is there anything good that makes moving from 1.7.10/1.12.2 worthwhile? Other than Create.
For me it was the original Hexxit pack.
Adventure focused packs mostly are the same bloated garbage with quest book handholding, but that one surpassed even the original technology focused packs like Tekkit for me.
Your own)
FPBP
But if you can't be assed, its probably Enigmatica 2 Expert or GTNH if you have severe autism
What about for 1.19? I heard Dawncraft is fun.
this
modpacks are 90% shit you'll never use, 5% shit that will actively annoy you, and 5% mods you actually want
original tekkit

I tried GTNH once and it proved worse than the shittiest day job I had back in the day

Curseforge makes it easy.
But you can do it yourself by getting forge then add the mods to the mod folder.

https://tlauncher.org/en/
Do not use TLauncher, it is a literal spyware which installs shady shit on your PC. Use tlaun.ch (Original TLauncher without spyware) or SKLauncher

Any love for RLcraft or too hard for ya?
RLCraft isn’t even challenging in a fun way, it’s a stupid gimmick pack for YouTubers to rage over.

I only use mods that boost performance like sodium and other QoL changes
