Time Crisis 1. Sequels ruined the aesthetic the original + Project Titan had set. Later ones became moronic by overusing Wild Dog and introducing unfunny ikemen with forced "coolguy" attitudes. Complete loss of identity.
>Who the frick plays lightgun shooters for the "aesthetics"?
It's literally what carries them and makes them memorable. The gameplay couldn't be simpler.
Would you play them if they were nothing but a black screen with floating wireframe cubes that have no animation or and there was no sound whatsoever?
I know you won't answer honestly but you know you wouldn't anyway.
He is trying to bait you into pointing out that light gun shooters are an arcade thing, which relies a lot on style to hook people in. Even though arcade games also have a rhythm where you get punished with specific periods of very hard difficulty to eat your quarters and induce the sunk cost fallacy.
You are such a fricking sheep and an idiot. Graphics are an essential part of a game, I obviously don't mean the level of technological advancement but just the aesthetics/style. I hope (and honestly think) it's like that for everyone
But I just know you are the kind of Ganker homosexual who just screams GAMEPLAY IS THE ONLY THING THAT MATTERS when in reality you wouldn't touch any text-adventure styled videogame.
The arcade version of Crisis Zone was one of the most exciting games I'd ever played. Time Crisis 2 was also a blast but I'd played it like 10 million times.

Fricking this.
Its a PS1 hardware but running at 100mhz so it can render a whole lot more pollys and it does it with crazy destructible environments that make modern games blush.
Hands down my favorite arcade shooter.

I play every game for aesthetics first. If I don't find it appealing I don't play it
i liked the 90s & early 2000s buddy cop feel of the later games.
