Wrath of the righteous. You can go full lich and kill everything.

the one who kills everything is swarm though

Magic in Dragons Dogma kinda sucks though.

Yeah, I said it fricker. Oh, it's visually impressive, maybe more than any other magic system in a game, but that just makes the cognitive dissonance that much worse when you impale a shitty goblin on a 50 foot spike of ice and it deals a tens of their health bar in damage.

Try to muster up at least some attempts at discussion like the other two anons who responded to me instead of having a kneejerk reaction to game you like being critiqued you cretin.

They both do. It's just Swarm decides to kill their companions as well, while the Lich settles for killing everyone but their companions.

Most of the replies will be from extremely shallow games that do not fulfill said purpose, since I assume you'd love to also gloat and have the world react to your evil, since evil is a human construct. You require others to validate it. Others to point it out for example.

    Arcanum does it best.
    Some old Bioware games

This is where it peaks. That's it.

The real joke is your lives, roleplaying as evil characters to cope with your pathetic worthless lives. You can't even pick out a videogame without being spoonfed.

Dragon's Dogma. You might not get the "evil" feeling but you can still kill innocent people and some quests can have a morally questionable resolution like kicking poor people out of their home.

I'm personally more bothered about said shitty goblins interrupting your 50 foot ice spike from even going off when they decide breathe in your general direction.

which makes one feel like an evil wizard anyways, because what sinister warlock doesn't need meat shield pawns to do the dirty work of being distractions

Ice spike is not for goblin though.
Miasma is for everything small to slow them down and choke them out.
Ice spike is to impale dragons in the heart.

It's been a while but I can't remember a difficulty in which Miasma didn't take care of most trash.

It's a shame mage boys don't get Miasma. Irc Comestion was absurd aganist nimble frickers like wolfs and harpies. Sorc is still least fun vacation to play in that game. Even if you slot quick spells for chaff and stand fo 15 minutes to deal damage spells for big boys. But HFB exist.

Learn how the game works. Learn the mechanics. First of all, you shouldn't be using Girl on a random goblin, it is an immobilizer first and damager second. Use fast casting spells or have a proper pawn setup instead on numerous opponents. Second there are other schools of magic such as dark, holy, fire, lightning. Enemies have resists and as a sorcerer you should prepare accordingly, that includes gear and level, which I'm certain you don't have if you deal such low DPS. Basically you're a moron and have only yourself to blame, the game telegraphs these things to you out in the open, you just thought you're too smart and didn't pay attention. So now you're here in an anonymous thread specifically avoiding looking a like fool, which you are

Neverwinter Nights 2: Mask of the Betrayer is a mixed bag for this - it has the mechanics to be a wizard, it has the roleplaying opportunity to be evil, but it also has a resting mechanic that makes being a D&D spellcaster more laborious than base NWN2 or other D&D ruleset CRPGs.

    My recommendations would be NWN2:MotB

For the mechanics of being an evil wizard: Skyrim with mods (something simple like the Ordinator perks mod + the magic one, that adds more extensive necromancy and stuff)
    Morrowind with mods
A different genre, like Heroes of Might and Magic

Tyranny, WotR, anything else? I wish there was an RPG with absurdly evil, cartoonish protagonist, like in Dungeon Keeper, it would be fun.

You should play Skyrim. You'll really like it. You should buy a few copies so you can play it with your friends.

Pillars of Eternity. Especially Deadfire, wizards are overpowered both with single and multiclassing.

End game Warlock (barbarian wizard) is fricking hilarious. Spamming close range destructive spells with so many speed and recovery boosts, and then hacking the rest with my magical storm poleaxe. Monk wizard is top tier too. Paladin wizard is unkillable. And pure wizard has tons of nukes.

Closest experience of overpowered magic I had since DAO : Awakening.

A top tier evil RP and effective combo would be an Arcane Knight with Bleak Walker paladin and Blood Mage wizard. Sacrifice own health to gain more spells, and heal yourself. Repeat cycle.

      play single class wizard.
tones of fun, specially in the last dlc.
i always play this class in rpgs and in this game felt for the most compelling to me. specially at the endgame of deadfire if know how to properly build your gear.

Planescape Torment let's you play a mage with cool spells and allows you to play a truly utilitarian evil.
The mage and evil part isn't well-connected though.
