      Splinter Cell

splinter cell blacklist, kino game btw

Kino picks, I would throw Wildlands in the hat as well.
      >One of your undercover operatives is brutally murdered by a cartel
      >guy was friends with your handler
      >handler takes it personally
      >starts an operation that will dismantle the said cartel piece by piece until everyone is dead or running to glowBlack folk to make it stop
The setting and characters are so fricking good, they really nailed the cartel and you get to make the operator however you like and for literally whatever situation.

It's still a shame it's a ubisoft open world game

Yeah, it does feel too much at times. It is one of their tighter worlds though, for some reason it didn't really feel like Far Cry to me, more like Just Cause or MGSV.

El Sueno was an excellent Tom Clancy villain though.

Why the FRICK did they go with the dumbass robot plot? Shit had no personality, Breakpoint was literally the same shit at hour 5 and at hour 80, in Wildlands every area was a new encounter and a new lieutenant and it could go anywhere with how the situation is resolved, instead we're doing fricking shit robot raids over and over.
I really hope they make another Wildlands.

It's fine. But there is a drought of violent action shows/movies that cater to conservative white men, so it kind of wins by default.

Same situation as Top Gun. It's decent but compared to all the absolute garbage being pumped out it looks like a masterpiece in comparison

        >Top Gun
I'm conflicted about Top Gun. First half was kino but the 2nd half of the film was bad.

Jennifer Connelly was good even though she's old

It's a serviceable revenge show. Kills could have been more brutal though. Apparently they've cut a lot of stuff out.

there are plenty of 'ok' shows, so why is this one being shilled on pretty much every board?

The only other show like this right now is Reacher. We haven't had "ok" shows in fricking years.

        Is it gun porn?
Should I watch it instead of re-watching Gunslinger Girl?

Its ok but its being politicized as a 'right wing show' so naturally everyone here is going to act like the show is a gift from god

More like The Chud List. It even pays tribute to gamer culture with the Leeroy Jenkins boobytrap scene. Another example of the gamer to military to alt-right pipeline.
