herald was kino
>miracle builds
Miracles are pretty good for NG+ when you've finally gotten them all on top of various miracle boosting items like Rose of Ariandel
Miracle builds are kino
deprived chads where you at?
>powergaming
>random punk ass knight: level 9
>veteran merc: level 8
what
the starting level is functional to pushing classes into certain builds with their stat distribution
genetic superiority of the aryan nobility
Herald and Knight are cool.
Herald is just Cleric but worse
Knight is just good for Quality builds
>demons souls
soldier
>ds1
thief
>ds2
explorer
>ds3
herald
>er
samurai
>>ds1
>thief
Absolutely dogshit class made even worse by having the key avaiable for every class regardless as keepsake
If I'm not CEing a pvp character (which is almost always warrior in these games thanks to stat spread) I like to choose stuff I think would have a comfy start. Ds1 thief is fun just because you have the novelty of 2 burial gifts and it's fun to backstab and parry your way through the early game with the knife-- at least until you get the stats for a better weapon like bss. It's pretty comfy traveling through town/castle levels as a lowly thief or hobo soldier with random tattered gear. Makes it a bit more immersive for me.
Deprived
>start as a naked waste of skin
>actually the best stat allocation and cheapest levels in early game
>get to scrape together a kit from nothing
>literal rags to riches
Running around in DaS3 wearing Katanaman's rags and a loincloth is the best fashion in the game.
the best stat allocation
It's awful, you are guaranteed to waste more points than at least half the other classes for any build
>DeS
Knight
>DaS
Knight
>Das 2
Knight
>Das 3
Knight
>Elden Ring
Vagabond(Knight)
I like all of them, I usually choose with my eyes closed. (:
Disregard build making, stop reading game wikis.
Build making is great though, easily the best part
My fondest memories of Dark Souls 3 are a Luck build using bleed, poison and hollow starting as a Sorcerer and mastering sorcery with the Ghru staff that scales through Luck, making use of low level support sorcery like Hidden Body, Spook, Chamaleon and Great Magic Weapon
It's either deprived or knight
deprived
It's always Knight
>end of fire ending
>wear Morne's armor to protect my Firewife
I've played deprived in all Souls games, including Bloodborne
Ds3 classes are so much better than elden rings it's almost pathetic
Are you moronic? Elden Ring classes are fantastic. They are
Assassin but useful with FTH/INT
Knight but isn't only useful for Quality build
Warrior but with one less point wasted in INT
Thief but also useful for low STR DEX/ARC builds
Sorcerer that doesn't waste a shitton of points in Arcane, which also doesn't steal Thief out of low STR DEX/ARC role
A long weapon Dexterity starting class build that can 2 hand up to 18 Strength requirement with starting stats
Cleric but isn't gimped by high Arcane and has a more even STR/DEX distribution to not be always better than Knight at STR/FTH, especially when needing some dexterity
Every single Elden Ring class is better designed except Warrior/Mercenary, because Prisoner/Samurai stole its Dexterity/Intelligence and Samurai/Bandit are the better Dexterity classes depending on what Strength you want.
miracles are viable, divine weapons are viable, I don't know why everyone pretends like they are not
If you're a PVP sperg, only builds on reddit guides are viable. PVE which is the main draw of the game, anything is viable, unless again, you're a sperg obsessed with pulling the highest numbers from a limited pool of weapons.
I always picked deprived since he always started at level 1 with all his stats the same. Gave you the freedom to do whatever you wanted.
