Actually that prisoner helm is a historical thing
in Rome sometimes thieves would be punished and become gladiator fodder by wearing a similar kind of helmet sometimes completely blinded with no eye slots

But that was probably Kentaro being inspired by history then From stealing form Kentaro
>What's the difference between homage and plagiarism?
Ask Clive Barker.
Everything interesting about Berzerk is lifted from Hellraiser. The Godhand, behelits, apostles, IoE, the interstice, Ganishka, and the entire dynamic between Griffith and Casca is lifted from the first two Hellraiser movies. Also
army of darkness was released three years after the first volume of berserk
You tell me
Shhh, don´t ruin the shitposting...
>"When Kentaro Miura finished the first chapter of Berserk, he saw Evil Dead 2 and was so staggered by the similarities between that movie and what he'd created. He fondly laughed about Ash in Army of Darkness because the shotgun on his back & chainsaw arm was like a reverse Guts."
Apparently, it's "incidental resemblance" even though ED1/2 were out for years before Berzerk, but clearly some conflation occured over the years. He never bothered to change it either. Nobody knows. In reality, Miura actually ripped off barker
>What's the difference between homage and plagiarism?
1. Execution. If you're good, nobody gives a frick. Miyazaki has passed Miura at this point as storyteller.
2. Acknowledgement. Nobody cares as long as you don't try to pull a jimmy page
If Miyasucky actually did things with his blatant homages, like Miura did with Berserk it could be great, but this 'make shit up yourself' approach is absolute butt once you realize how lazy it is.
It's Ganishka's corpse after he fused with a bunch of apostles and did some bullshit ritual, he became a gigantic tentacle demon, then as per Griffith's plan, when Skull Knight attacked him with the dimensional sword, he used the dimensional slash to basically turn Ganishka's corpse into a world tree, this caused the planes to converge and turned the fantastic into reality.
It would make sense if you had the slightest context for the story, which you clearly don't since you don't read it.
Which begs the question, why are you even asking in the first place? Do you want people to explain volumes worth of context so your moron brain can understand?
Context. I want more media to depict things I like in different ways, I dont see this as a bad thing.
Most Souls game rip offs completely lack the visual and themeatic beats of the Souls games, and is why they are shit. Its not enough to just copy the gameplay formula, and I reckon if they tried to draw inspiration from other media they like they might make something worthwhile, rather than just another generic medieval game with Souls combat.
>Elden Ring plagiarised Black Souls >Black Souls plagiarised Dark Souls >Dark Souls plagiarised Berserk >Berserk plagiarised Hellraiser
How deep does the rabbit hole go?
still a goty
When somebody cares and when author is alive to seethe
You don't know what plagiarism is.
So are you, homosexual

how's life in the esl land, anon?
If you're Japanese it's a tribute

>they even have the tiny eyes
Not first time
That one is at least properly retextured, look at the fricking rats
a decade of the same fricking rat model
>a decade of the same fricking rat model
The rats are the best part
DS1 and DS2 rats are the same.
DS3 and ER are new ones.
BB also has completely unique rats.

Did you find all of that out by yourself??
Who are you? Sherlock Zoomer?
I mean it's literal thievery

You tell me
wasn't army of darkness way before the anime thing?
army of darkness was released three years after the first volume of berserk
>What's the difference between homage and plagiarism?
Ask Clive Barker.
Everything interesting about Berzerk is lifted from Hellraiser. The Godhand, behelits, apostles, IoE, the interstice, Ganishka, and the entire dynamic between Griffith and Casca is lifted from the first two Hellraiser movies. Also
Pretty sure Berserk was out before
Shhh, don´t ruin the shitposting...

you mean ripped off Raimi
Probably both, but definitely barker.
All the 80's-inspired world-building shit is recycled Hellraiser assets
Homages are good.
>What's the difference between homage and plagiarism?

>Homage
Vaguely similar
>Plagiarism
Close to identical
Miyazaki does both

>Put it into a video game
>It's good
WOOOOOW IM GOING INSAAAAANE!!!!!!!
You tell me, nintendies.
Your mental illness.
>berserk invented norse mythology
spotted the Ganker tourist
What's the story of the tree in Berserk? Or has it not been addressed yet?
It's Ganishka's corpse after he fused with a bunch of apostles and did some bullshit ritual, he became a gigantic tentacle demon, then as per Griffith's plan, when Skull Knight attacked him with the dimensional sword, he used the dimensional slash to basically turn Ganishka's corpse into a world tree, this caused the planes to converge and turned the fantastic into reality.
What?
Did I stutter?
Obviously the implication is that none of the shit you said makes any sense.
It would make sense if you had the slightest context for the story, which you clearly don't since you don't read it.

You shouldn't have paid for either then you wouldn't care.
when the author dies it's no longer plagerism
>bleach invented big swords, yggdrasil, and sword grave markers
your brain on animanga
>bleach
The giant tree came from some gay shit in Irish mythology, which is gay, because Irish people are a bunch of homosexuals.
ask the hellraiser guy
What's the difference between being an unthinking bot and spamming the same thread every single day
What thread?
>Elden Ring plagiarised Black Souls
>Black Souls plagiarised Dark Souls
>Dark Souls plagiarised Berserk
>Berserk plagiarised Hellraiser
How deep does the rabbit hole go?
Plagiarism is where right is 100% identical to left. Homage is where small parts of left are in the right.
Japshit plagiarizes all the time. Berserk stole from Evil Dead
sekiro > ds3 > bb > ds1 > des > er > ds2 >>>>>>>>> des r
Every single writer should be executed for plagiarizing The Epic of Gilgamesh.
>The Epic of Gilgamesh
Plagiarizes reality
I have never played any of souls game and i have no regrets.
