MiSTer exists and already does it. Same reason nobody cares about the Sg, Nt, Super Nt, and Polymega anymore. There just isn't any appeal.
Even if you bought a mister fully assembled, it'd likely cost around how much they'd charge for this thing, and wouldn't be locked to one system. There's just no reason for anyone to care about Analogue outside of the Pocket.
You're the moron if you can't see the appeal of the Analogue 3D. How about you research the topic of the thread before you post, you inbred.

>can't see the appeal of the Analogue 3D
What appeal? Not only would it be limited to the same level of accuracy as a significantly less-expensive option, it doesn't even actually exist lmao.
You're shitting your pants over someone criticizing something you can't even own because "uh it has a slot on it so that makes it good!" You're a fricking embarrassment.

>FPGA emulation >For one (1) console >Probably won't support ROMs without a flashcart >Probably won't support other systems without CFW >Made by the shittiest company in existence, second only to Limited Run Games
I dunno anon, I did my research, still don't see the appeal.
>None of their products are expensive enough to be seen as aspirational to anyone with any kind of jorb.
It's not that it's too expensive to buy, it's that the price is too high for the "value" you get, to where it's only tech workers with the amount of funny money to see that as something worth buying.
This thing is supposed to have 4K output and some fancy display filters. Given what's currently available for the Pocket/Dock, I imagine there's still a lot of work yet undone on that front.
Stop being a gay consumer. Analogue products are overpriced toys for people with a collecting disorder. FPGA isn't magic, it has bugs and flaws just like traditional software.
the retrobit legacy 64 v2 is pretty similar and already available. It works great except you cant switch between memory cards and rumble on the fly. The built in rumble is pretty solid though.
It looks nice, though this one looks like it's made by 8BitDo, which I often like, and goes for XBOX styled ergonomics, which I'm a fan of too, so it's looking like the perfect controller for me as long as they don't mess it up somehow.
Yeah this controller will probably be the best controller for the N64 in terms of ergonomics, if anything, if the analog 3d ends up being a bust at least the controller will be worth getting.
Im sorry but the old trident was never good.
>Im sorry but the old trident was never good.
This.
I can't believe so many are still coping 30 years later about how N64 has the optimail positions for both the D-Pad and analog stick, the analog stick's completely off the beaten path and feels way worse than having right next to the D-Pad like in a DualShock or 3D Saturn pad.
Im cautiously excited, waiting to see the joystick test. Infuriating that nobody has managed to perfectly replicate the N64 joystick pattern. I'll probably just keep playing the lottery for decent joystick gates/gear lmao.
It likely won't, but as long as it's competent when I'm playing and I don't feel the difference unless I REALLY focus and try to notice instead of playing normally, then I'll be fine, the shape's what really matters to me on this one, a modern feeling to it.
Why are you collecting/playing video games if you can't afford a $200 gameboy clone? You are too poor to be wasting your precious time on video games. Get back to work.
Can't wait for zoomers and millennial basedboys to realise this thing does 4K output of 240p, not 4K internal. They're going to lose their fricking minds lmao.
These things take ages. Analouge Pcoket didn’t get to my house for a year and a half after I ordered it. Silver lining is that after the N64. They have to focus on disc based systems.
>He wants anal log
Quite homossexual of you OP.

i own carts zoomie
That's nice. You should own a N64.
>too stupid to put two and two together
So you own the real thing and want an expensive clone?
You might be a fricking moron, anon.

isn't analogue the 'Apple' of Retro devices? All show, overpriced and nothing special?
Aspirational objects for tech employees
Are you a child, or NEET? None of their products are expensive enough to be seen as aspirational to anyone with any kind of jorb.
it's turnkey and works well enough for anyone who doesn't know enough to care or care enough to know about its shortcomings

I wanna play my carts with better gwaphix
Itt: poorgays seething and zoomers with no carts wheezing
I'm excited for the controller.

dpad positioning looks cancer tbh
its practically in the middle of the damn thing
