What's the hype for Starfield based around? It's so far looking like Outer Worlds just with plain non-alien planets and procedural generation (but not even in a cool dungeon-y way like Daggerfall)
There's not even any fricking ETs

Why the frick did white people have to invent troonyism.
It was actually meds, but it was only a thing behind closed doors in noble houses
Then israelites spread it and made it popular 2000 years later
~~*white*~~
Trannies are what happens when autism meets porn addiction.
Can you not use slurs, please?
I know this place is a bit more rowdy than reddit, but derogatory words are not cool anymore in 2023.
Go back
>white people
>white people
It was all thanks to Marx and he hated the israelites. The israelites are the good guys.
You can thank Europe for that one, and for pushing gay "rights"
No-no-no, us "mate", the only thing europe is responsible for(and by europe here I mean france) is Black person praising. homosexuals, feminists and trannies are purely YOUR inventions
any game that can be played as woman or man will attract troony.
new vegas is basically troony central.
It feels like an evolution of narcissism.
Synergy of autism and narcissism
Oh, hi Tariq!
Asia and South America have been troony hubs since before most white people had ever heard of the concept. The only thing white people did was turn it into a victim identity group.
>space cowboy
oh shit
Have you actually played Outer Worlds? There's clearly so much more going on in Starfield.
I did, because Outer Worlds looked fun (Starfield does not). It was not fun however.
Maybe you're just not very good at judging video games then, hombre.
Oh how many hours do you have on Starfield? What's your current review, and what do you like about it?
Dumb esl moron
That's not many hours into this game you're saying there's so much 'going on in'.
Let him seethe. I'm gonna play the game on launch (for free) and he'll still be here shitting his pants. Sad!
Wait the game hasn't launched yet?
delayed a year.. that's the power of xbox. 30fps.
Why do you love it so much then?
wow, it's true.. you xbros really are moronic. I'll pirate it on the PC for free and mod the shit out of it.. enjoy the severely gimped GP version.
>Said no one who actually did play Outer Worlds, ever.
>because Outer Worlds looked fun
confirmed moronic
Bethesda branding
I expected Starfield to be Fallout 4 in space with some NMS splashed in
I got what I expected.
the hype around it is purely from bethesda's name despite the fact they made fallout 76
the goyim truly are pathetic
the ET is that goblin troony in your post that shit doesn't even look human
Bethesda made Skyrim.
People liked Skyrim.
Bethesda is making Starfield.
People are thus excited for Starfield.
Ignoring all the complaints regarding modern Bethesda as a whole, people went fricking nuts over Skyrim. Bethesda was already a well known name to begin with, but now, basically anything they touch gets people hype. It has nothing to do with how Starfield looks, plays, or is presented as. The name on the box is enough to send people into a frothing mess among casual audiences.
Well they seem to be doing good this time, going back to the old dialogue system is nice, and skills, perks, character creator, etc remind me of oblivion/fallout 3 style gameplay which is something I personally have been craving for a while now.
you conveniently left out the two giant fallout turds
Only autists on Ganker and Reddit hated FO4: your average normie loved it. Try leaving the echo chamber every once in a while
yeah, skyrim really gave people a reason to own their systems if anyone remembers the 360 and all that. it was a simple, solid game, and got a lot of eyes on it.
they really have oblivion to thank for that, matching releases with console windows. made them a huge company.
Why did anime have to make traps. I feel like moronic Americans and Brits watching anime where a boy would look 100% identical to the nearest woman accelerated troonyism by 30 years. At least Japanese men had the excuse of being feminine for most of their history.
thailand have had real trannies before the idea of traps and femboys are popularized in anime and israelites had invented the troony procedure back in WW2, this shit doesn't need any acceleration
Shilling and desperation
It's idea guy shit. "What if hard sci-fi space exploration Bethesda-style RPG". Except they actually followed through with it and the results are as boring as expected.
I think a hard sci Fi, semi serious single player fps could be a cool idea especially if it's conspiracy focused, but hard sci Fi fallout 4 in space would not work
>but not even in a cool dungeon-y way like Daggerfall
You think Daggerfall's nonsensically mazelike dungeons were 'cool'? Do we even know what is or isn't procedurally generated at this point and to what extent?
>You think Daggerfall's nonsensically mazelike dungeons were 'cool'?
Yes. My favorite dungeon experience in any game.
>It's so far looking like Outer Worlds
You're a blind moron with the comparative skills of a child.
>looking like Outer Worlds
Fricking moron
Game expert here. The 'hype' is a rather loud vocal minority of hardcore WRPG only fans that are starved for content. Basically bounce between Skyrim and the Fallouts just looking for a new title to dump 500hours into and not have to think about life.

I was supposed to be Todd's #1 guy on this board and I only scored 1/5. How could this happen?
lemme guess... a troony
That would mean I'm balding
Bethesda's brand and Todd's lies. I don't know why either still works in 2023 but clearly it does so maybe I'm the one who's lost it.
A fantasy setting allows a proper dose of escapism with fantasy quests, rustic environments, adventuring, magic, forging, investigating lore, etc... it just feels wholesome and rewarding on a basic instinctual level where a human being wants to explore nature and find hidden places full of secrets.
Space rpgs on the other hand are a different kick. Even Mass Effect had trouble making the exploring interesting and instead it refocused on team relationship stuff and stuff like that. I don't honestly remember a single planet from that game since you basically always drop in and then walk through the same blocky industrial modular buildings and the local flavor is "fungus if it looked a bit different" whoopedee doo
Outer Worlds was like that too, I don't remember a single thing about it and I played through the whole thing.
It just starts to look very samey and boring and while in a fantasy setting you can draw upon the entire history of humankind to inspire your architecture and artifacts, in a space game it's just the same modular industrial shit but with a hex pattern maybe here and there.
I don't think Starfield will be as successful as they think.
The problem is the alien races they always do are "giraffe with flat head" and "bird with four wings".
They need to just start robbing old books for ideas. Grab a copy of Barlowe's Guide To Extra Terrestrials and go to fricking town.
Frankly I'm just excited because I loved Firefly and this seems similar with a bit of a twist.
Firefly is good because of writing, and that's exactly the thing Bechesda may frick up royally.
The pictures comparing it to New Vegas and Outer Worlds are funny
force shill campaign. there is no reason to be hyped. it looks like complete shit.
Or maybe you're just not with it
I enjoyed skyrim with guns, and fallout with magic
after like 5 months I'm sure fallrim in space will be patched enough for me to enjoy it, too
im going to recruit every black person in the game and force them to work on a backwater botanical outpost growing crops.
I get that humanity as a whole is more publicly degenerate than ever but what the frick is wrong with homosexuals
Nugay. People are more conservative than ever, you're just a little child.
>What's the hype for Starfield based around?
An extremely aggressive and over-funded marketing campaign.
The reason you've seen practically nothing about it but a bunch of posts trying to hype it is that they are just trying to sell garbage via hype. At its core this shit is just a Fallout 4 reskin. But they know they can trick the impressionable dumb c**ts here into buying by just posting a bunch of moronic 'lmao Todd' shit over and over every day.
That or , hear me out, they make games people like.
> Well I don't
You would think that would weigh heavily on people but it would seem they are unconcerned with that development.
Okay then they will not recieve my money.
They will not get my cash.
They might get some money, but not from me.
I won't buy the game.
I just won't. Yeah I know I know, Todd told me to do so, but I simply don't want to.
I'm sure the loud minority on Twitter is enough payers that will actually play the game and care about it in the long term.
But my money? Stays with me.
Congratulations
Thank you.
Cause I can walk around crouched in stealth and headshot npcs for 1000x bonus damage then pick locks in an open world
>y'all
>yall
Honestly for me its the lego ships. I just hope to god I can jettison the annoying Constellation shitheads and replace them with more classic sci-fi characters, modding them in if I have to.
zoomers and paid shills, no one who actually cares about video games look forward to any of these modern AAA shit
I will not buy the game.
I will not play it.
I will not even pirate it.
>there are nogs in my bethesda game!
mod them out? do you seriously expect TND from a game made during the last 20 years?
>do you seriously expect TND from a game made during the last 20 years?
FFXVI
>j-just mod them out
Haha no. I will not give my money to people who have put them in there in the first place.
i didn't tell you to buy it (and you still played NV)
But nv was made by obsidian
Are there [word troony mods ban you for here] in New Vegas?
I have no fricking idea what you're talking about
I did a single playtrough, joined yes man and killed caesar
I don't remember a single Black person shoved into my face
>I have no fricking idea what you're talking about
>I don't remember a single Black person shoved into my face
>he didn't actually play NV
Who the frick is that?
Starter village guy? I just left the village as soon as I was able to.
>i've played new vegas, DAE remember starter village, fellow new vegas players?
and it was already filled with nogs, general homosexualtry and a dude who really really wanted to get fisted by his own personal sex robot
I've just been wanting a proper sandbox RPG successor to Skyrim.
Outer Worlds was very on-rails and basically just a first-person version of a normal Obsidian RPG.
What I think lots of people liked about Skyrim was that it's real appeal was the general sandbox of AI and factions and locations that let you sort of carve out your own adventure and tasks.
I think the appeal is the idea of basically The Sims but with a more interesting motif and more involved gameplay. The idea of basically living out a more interesting day-to-day in another setting is the core appeal of this or Skyrim.
The most interesting stuff I ever saw of Skyrim playthroughs or mods were the ones that involved adding some more depth to really auxiliary methods of playing the game, like roleplaying as a farmer or a trader or the like.
some random twitter troony
big beth fan, but I have zero hype for starguy and i havent watched a single trailer except the first one
I actually like the 'realistic' 'science-base' approach. I don't like when scifi is just a futuristic version of medieval fantasy.
Exploring 'plain' planets for resources is a good thing. We don't do that very often in games. A game like this should give you the cold, dark, lonely feel of space at times.
Visiting a jungle planet with green people and then an ocean planet with blue people is lame.
Also the game create things around you when you're exploring the planets so it's only really procedural when you see thing from afar if I understood correctly. Of course if the system is badly done, it'll be repetitive caverns everywhere but we'll see.
To me it looked like all the stars in the immediate vicinity of Sol and Alpha Centauri are accessible. That means that if there's a thousand worlds, there's only a few hundred stars. That means that the entire radius of the explorable galaxy map is a hundred lightyears in diameter at max. The vast majority of those worlds should be barren, and it would be astronomically unlikely for there to be any Earth-like worlds with life that has evolved all the way to the space age.
Yes I guess they'll put some interesting handcrafted places that are mandatory to visit during your playthrough all over the galaxy and there will be dozens of barren worlds on your way to those places like a scifi version of the 'point of interest' system.
I honestly like that idea because even if we only land on those to do some fetch quests at least it'll be a change of environments and atmosphere.
THEYRE SHOVING IT DOWN MY THROAT, BETTER GO ON Ganker AND POST ABOUT IT
Gaming is saved
