Overwatch 2 - $350, though around half of that is just lying around on my account as in game currency, I bought $150 worth during a sale as a future investment
I haven't spent a single penny on a game since PlayStation 1 era. All the games were pirated and burned onto a DVD disc. 20+ years and the only time I've ever spent money was on Limbus Company, totaling around 100-200$
Played WoW for 15 years, subbed for probably half of that time. Subscription was around 20 dollars a month, so nearly $2000 just off that alone. Bought every expansion which is about $500. I bought various faction changes, race changes and character boosts over that time as well. I'd say well over $3000 on WoW alone.
Probably Death Stranding. Got the PS4 Pro at launch and then last year I bought a sealed version of the collectors edition that I paid a bit for. But if counting microtransactions then I might also be this or Overwatch.

Honestly being a oldgay WoW subscriber, as long you you’ve been playing classic wotlk/SoD, instead of retail, is way more respectful than one of the whales spending 1000s on gacha games and other games cosmetics
~$150 on Path of Exile over the last 10 years
$100 on the skyrim collectors edition on Xbox 360 back in 2011
$90 on genshin impact welkins over two years.
that's pretty much it. overwhelming majority of my game purchases are indies and steep discount sales on steam. the last time I paid full price for a game was Fallout 4 on release.
Probably WoW
If mmo subs don't count then probably warframe after that. I bet I spent about 150 over about a decade of on/off playing and 75% off coupons.
I spent $700-$800 on a gacha game, can't even fricking remember what it was called. I think my second biggest expensive was on Dragonball Legends. I stay away from gacha games because I can't control my spending once I start playing them, like I'll spend $10 here and there and then before I realize it I've dumped $150-$200 into the game.
~£100 for a CP2077 CE
which I found out I was only able to play either 30fps high or 60fps low, so I decided to leave it until I upgraded my pc
which ended up being a good decision as the game was mostly patched when I finally got to it8tjgn
For one purchase? I think I gave like $100 to the Friday the 13th Kickstarter. I don't regret that, I played that game a lot when it came out and seeing kids get mad I had Savini Jason was always funny.
Overall though I've spent probably around $2k on League of Legends since 2009 or whenever closed beta was.
$775 on Kickstarter for one of the highest tiers. The game was released with almost all promised features and I liked it and although the physical box was not as splendorous as I hoped it's nice as well.
It's the only time I ever spent so much money on Kickstarter. From the ten projects I backed 9 released already and only one of them was very bad (Underworld Ascendant).
At least $1100 on League of Legends, since '09, long since quit that.
Probably $750 if I were guessing on Black Desert, quit that too.
At least $600 on World of Warcraft, but probably more, started in '04 and had a sub off and on along with a bunch of expansions over the years.
Probably stellaris tbh
I got it for 10$ on the bumblehundle years ago and really liked it, so I ended up buying all of the dlc over the years and 1600h in it up until the recent few dlcs. I never waited on sales (other than the first time when I got all the already out ones) either, I would buy them on release i must have spent about 100$ on them
Paradox is notorious for nickel and diming their playerbase and recently they just announced that they have a dlc subscription so you can literally pay money every month to not own the dlc
Fricking insanity.
I sort of understand the argument for it. The game is basically unplayable without the dlcs, but getting into it would be very expensive, so a subscription would be like a "play the full game for one month" trail for 10$ or whatever, but it still feels like they are retroactively turning a "finished game" into a live service model. The justification for it is thin when they can just have dlcs go on sale to encourage new players
Very israeli behavior
TF2 ~$1,000
$230 for the octopath traveler 2 collector's edition
back when i was a tf2 nolife addict, $300.
>do you regret it
not really, but i dont play tf2 anymore so the items are just there
Dumb idle game i spent like 70 dollars
My dad bought me X-Men Children Of The Atom for 100 bucks at a game shop for some reason but gladt to have it but most I spent like 60.
Probably Smash Ultimate, i bought all the characters,
Overwatch 2 - $350, though around half of that is just lying around on my account as in game currency, I bought $150 worth during a sale as a future investment
>future investment

Based Ganker crossposter

What did you do with all the money you saved?
Got stuff. PC, traveled, had to fix car, etc
>doesn't pay for actual videogames for decades
>pays $200 for gachashit
kek'd
Is disc burning still a thing? Do kids know what that even is?
there is literally nothing worth dumping a 100$ in that game. You can literally get everything for 10$ wtf anon
I needed regret Faust in the first Whalepiggies night. So I got the big Lunacy bundle
thats still not 100-200$ wtf else did you buy?
Two BPs, and I sometimes buy Enkaphlin packs for my grind to empty the dispenser
probably roblox. i've played it since 2011
i don't know whether to be proud or dissapointed in myself.
Rule of Rose- I won't say.
Resident Evil 4, I bought it for the gamecube, the ps2, the ps4 and steam. But hey at least I didn't buy the remake, never will.
How much?
I've been playing wow on/off since 2005-2006. That's a shit ton of money and I'm not proud of it
Was stuck in this loop for awhile.
It gets worse, I'm still stuck in that loop. A bunch of my friends still play WoW and they keep sucking me back in
$10k on Heroes of the Storm loot boxes, kind of embarrassing because the game is dead and is less relevant than Heroes of Newerth now
Fortnite ~$700
Probably Death Stranding. Got the PS4 Pro at launch and then last year I bought a sealed version of the collectors edition that I paid a bit for. But if counting microtransactions then I might also be this or Overwatch.

i bought a stronger pc exclusively to run modded minecraft better
genshin (1k~)
Probably 3 grand on one of my gachas, possibly 4-5 grand.
I had club penguin membership for 3 years, however much that is
60$
I have probably spent around 300$ on Total War: Warhammer
Same, if you consider 1, 2 and 3 to be one game.
Never forget the "blood and gibs" dlc they made people shell out ten dollarydoos for.
Over 1k on a shitty Korean MMO
~$150 on Path of Exile over the last 10 years
$100 on the skyrim collectors edition on Xbox 360 back in 2011
$90 on genshin impact welkins over two years.
that's pretty much it. overwhelming majority of my game purchases are indies and steep discount sales on steam. the last time I paid full price for a game was Fallout 4 on release.
Thankfully not much. I think the most was buying the gold edition of a game or a few. I wouldn't want to spend a lot on games.
Panzer Dragoon Saga in 2009 for about $200. Eventually sold it for 4x that.
80$ for the Odin Sphere Storybook edition
40$ for the Vita version
And however much for the PS4 itself.
Warthunder.
>What's the most money you've spent on one game
probably the legendary edition of Skyrim, i bought the strategy guide book too. i miss martin
Probably WoW
If mmo subs don't count then probably warframe after that. I bet I spent about 150 over about a decade of on/off playing and 75% off coupons.
$70.00 usd

Probably Hawken.
Got the collectors edition of Xenoblade Chronicles X when it was new. I think it was $110 AUD.
~£100 for a CP2077 CE
which I found out I was only able to play either 30fps high or 60fps low, so I decided to leave it until I upgraded my pc

Probably 2 grand on Phantasy Star Online 2 over the course of 5 years
I've learned my mistake
$130 for Halo 3 Legendary Edition. I still have the helmet.
I've been a runescape member since 2004.
I still play RS3 daily.
like 600 on league of legends
over the span of 12 years though
MMOs over 2000+ euro
Bout $500 on DCS modules, easily over 1200 with all the periphrials like Hotas and rudder peddals
i was subbed to WoW for 13 years straight, can't be assed to calculate the sum but that's the one
60 euros on halo infinite. never again.
>What's the most money you've spent on one game
25 euro had to buy a replacement copy of left4dead2 for the 360

200 on Crave
