It’s decent. Good attention to historical detail and a great cast of characters. It’s brought down a lot by there only being like two sets in the entire show with the rest being cgi’d in (like whenever they’re on a boat). Also it kinda just ends, which is the point but not great for sticking in your head that long after viewing it.
Episode 8, 9 and 10 had me crying at certain points. I wasn't ready for this show or how it made me feel. Been years since I had that empty feeling. Tempted to watch the 80s version. Can anyone recommend it?
>Original Series
How the frick is it "original" when there's already a show from the 80´s, and both are based on a novel from 1975? That's like claiming a remake of a game is original; it's still based on something.
the best video game of 2024 i guess
why cant you just frick off back to Ganker and take your American goyslop with you
why don't you shut up you sniveling little shit rag
Total War: Shogun 2
Wasn't Nioh set in the same era?
Yeah.
Exact same story except for some reason in Nioh, William (the historical character) is Irish and not English for some fricking reason.
Nioh 1.
It's literally the exact same only with yokai and spirits. You play as the same MC.
imagine watching an american produced show in 2024
>imagine still coming to Ganker in 2024
picunrel
be real homosexuals, is this shit actually good like IGN compares it to Game of Thrones or nah?

it's as good as GoT season 1
Shut the frick up. There is no way. Are you actually serious?
Different anon but yeah.
Helps it sticks to the book and has great music and actors. Very emotional for only 10 episodes.
No, it's an FX shill. Show is awful.
It's amazing though, almost as good as silence 2016 and shares some of cast
Why couldn't we save him?
Yup, nevermind the contrarian. The show is genuinely great. Just go check it out for yourself
It sucks. Ugly looking, boring story, bad actors, uninteresting characters, no focus. Only good part was Yabu.
It's kino outside the color corrected paki larping as a whitey. That's right, main actor is a black dude who was dyed in post production
moron
It was really good. I'm tempted to rewatch it and I just finished it last night.
It’s pretty good. Not as good as GoT season 1 but better than any other GoT season.
Show and book were both kino
Shogun total war you absolute fricking buffoon
nioh
ghost of tsushima

The ending was pure kino
Should i stick to the book, watch this or the 1980s show?
Watch Silence (2016), a Ganker classic
>white dude fricking shit up in japan and scoring a jap gf
that's literally cultural appropriation
WHITE
DUDE
Shogun 2. You can play as the guy Toranaga is based on, Tokugawa Ieyasu. This being his mon, the same one Toranaga has in the show.

To make it stand out that this is a Hulu production, not something they just bought the rights to stream.
