It's because they're all those boorish things, and more, while being COMPLETELY SHIT at the game.
The gameplay was so incredibly simple and user friendly (not even counting addons) but the vast majority of players were the worst gaming had to offer. Even the small amount of "pro" play I watched only showcased an almost complete lack of skill.
Haven't played in over 10 years and I can't imagine it's gotten any better.
The average WoW player is so fricking terrible at such an easy game it's actually crazy. Reminder that Blizzard put in a simple mandatory test to prove you knew what you were doing before being allowed to queue for dungeons with other players in MOP and people b***hed so much that they had to remove it. Said test was literally "can you stand behind enemies, avoid slow moving projectiles that take a full minute to cross the screen, and press your interrupt spells button?", and it was too much for the average WoW player.
That's why the only thing I do now in the game is quest and listen to music. Shit, even when I'm just doing simple quests or fighting a random world boss, I'm running circles around the other players. I think I've just been playing this game for too long.

I know CoH and a few other games aren't as bad about this, but the other issue is people will just leave lobby during matchmaking if you're not a solid rank or whatever.
