I liked it. All the other lightgun games were basically just "wait for badguy to pop up" repeated 500 times. I don't care what graphics you slap on top of that, it's still the same thing over and over again.

Most games by Midway. They had awesome presentation but their actual game design was total horseshit and is a large reason why people think every arcade game is an unfair quarter muncher.
I think they got better towards the end of their run as an arcade cabinet producer. I remember both NFL Blitz and Rampage World Tour being very solid in the arcade.
Dragon's Lair is pretty fricking trash, yeah. It's a game that requires you to sit there and dump money into it until you've memorized everything you're supposed to do and then it's the same thing every time. At least it has some value since there's decent porn based on it though
