The closest they've gotten to peak soulfulness in recent years was when they updated Star Allies, which mainstream public outright ignored. By the time Kirby got mainstream attention from a 3D jump, most of that appeal was stripped away from the 3D title.
Unless you can justify this treachery, don't give any credence to popular appeal. Forgotten Land has plenty of obnoxious problems that hinder it from being an ideal Kirby game.

I was just pointing out that Fire Emblem never had a consistent logo until Awakening. The Nes, Snes, GBA, GCN and DS entries all looked different. The "nu-fe" logo is the actual true logo.

Not really, they deliberately try to make each persona have a different style and tackle different themes, and the logos go along with that

Logos that change depending on the game is peak soul even when compared to good consistent logos. That's why the Japanese Pokemon logos (at least until recently) have always been superior to the same gay yellow American logo they've been using since 1998.

Because in America changing a logo almost always results in lost sales. Americans look for logos and if they don't see the one they recognize they might just think your product they otherwise wanted to buy isn't there.

To be fair the fact that they still use the same yellow logo is kind of soulful in its own way. They could easily turn it to a sterile corporate friendly minimalist logo. The fact that it's colorful and angular and kind of ugly is refreshing.

I do find it funny that after Awakening they standardized the logo to the Awakening one. It's like they were so surprised and happy that FE wasn't dead, but also terrified it could die if they deviated from Awakening.

Its logos and companies everywhere. There are too many colors, shadows, and textures going on and it can confuse or intimidate the current and upcoming demographic of consumers. Its easier to take in the new images, they scale easier on websites and mobile devices, it requires less brainstorming and R&D for graphic designers and artists to create which allows them to create more logos AND have an easier time developing artistic consistency around other things related to the product, and a myriad of other things. Nobody has time to "admire" a logo or anything. Just give people the name of the company and be done with it.
Kirby's looks fine, Metroid's is just a result of Sakamoto's autism trying to separate 2D and 3D games, Pikmin is a downgrade but at least it has a gradient and kept one flower, it's slightly above monochromatic logos.
