I was having fun until I had to do some moronic stealth/walk-and-talk section with MJ. Every game is like this now where they interrupt a legitimately enjoyable gameplay loop to shove cutscenes and dialog down your throat.
Pretty fun, they did a good job on the movement. The swinging in SM2 and Ultimate Spiderman will always be top tier but it feels a lot more accurate and easy to control in this one. But as said, MJ missions fricking suck dick. The Black cat missions are the best though.
Yeah this. I like swinging around and the bamham combat is pretty good. Even the ubisoft towers and collectibles are fun cause movement is so fun. But then I need to stop and watch an unskippable cutscene, or play as MJ or hell just do mundane shit as peter and I just check the frick out.

Why do people pretend the MJ/Miles segments ruin the experience when they're just like 5 minutes long?
Anyone crying about those didn't actually play the game and either just believed what game journos said or are just inherently against playing as a black guy or woman.
>are just inherently against playing as a black guy or woman
Which makes this the wrong franchise for them, they'd have better luck with the Batman games
It's the fact that she can't accept her role as a normal human being and working alongside Peter as an info collector, flexing her muscle as a journalist (because MJ is Lois Lane now). Instead, she risks her life playing ninja sneaking around criminal hideouts, including literal magic Chinese demon-people, and also breaking through security into the mayor's HOUSE. She acts like she's entitled to being a cool superhero like her boyfriend and insecure that she isn't, and she even has the gall to get upset at Peter for CARING ABOUT HER WELLBEING. That stupid b***h has a death wish and lacks any self awareness. Any time she fricks something up and ruins everything, Peter has to come and save her ass and then pat her on the back like "awww it's ok, you didn't know any better."
The same can be said about Miles' segments. The only time it makes sense is during the ceremony attack, when he's all pumped with adrenaline and acting rashly, but any other time he breaks through security and uses his super genius HackingTM skills to disable military drones with unmanned guns, it's completely nonsensical. He went from being a normal high school kid to Solid Snake mixed with Aiden Pearce just because his dad died and the plot needed him to do things.
Anything that these characters do, Spider-Man can do and make it actually fun to play through.
This guy gets it.
Heaven fricking forbid Mary Jane pursued an acting and modelling career like the comics, because it's current year. Can't have that. They quite literally turned her into a b***hy Lois Lane.
The Miles sections (hell, his whole character) could have been cut from the game and nothing would have changed. He doesn't affect the plot and the stealth sections are such a snoozefest they may as well have not been in the game.
I agree with you on everything, MJ and Miles are badly written.
My point is that their very short gamplay sections don't sour the rest of the game. Like someone else showed all their parts summed together are less than 1 hour, the main story is like 16 hours and the whole game can go for hundreds if you include DLC and open world content.
I suppose that's true. They're black marks on the game and you groan whenever you notice the camera panning down onto someone who isn't Spider Man, but it's not like I'll immediately uninstall the game the first time I come upon one. It's a criticism, but I feel like a lot of people hyperbolize it. A gold star for the devs for getting rid of them in the Miles game, and there probably won't be any in the sequel either.
The only time I enjoyed MJ was GCT and that was only because you could sic Spider-Man on enemies as you went about doing things. Miles segment was also decent, but character-wise she was just too much of a b***h.
I liked getting to explore the empty penthouse with her, though.
I'm playing Miles and it's alright. It is technically impressive, the swinging is fun and the combat is basically bamham
Hope there aren't any stealth missions later on because it is quite clearly the weakest link
I don't know why they made the stealth only happen on the bases where they just spawn a new wave thats automatically alerted to you.
Stealth/combat mix clearly isn't as well thought out as Arkham
This angered me the most. >perfectly take out everyone quick and efficiently using stealth >new wave automatically spawns and gets alerted to your position
just ok
I've said if you're a spiderman fan its worth it, but if you're not already into the character its not a must play
the low points of the game like maryjane, the outdated gadget wheel + weird gadgets like the anti-gravity pulse and concussive blast make no sense for the character
stealth was pointless because its so easy
the technology puzzles and ubisoft towers
lots of shitty game design choices, but it was ok enough that I'll play the next one when it's out
Mandatory homie Parker and MJ stealth sections were terrible
Boss fights and combat were bad
Stealth sections were mediocre, felt like ripoff Arkham (but not as bad as the combat)
Webslinging around NYC was pretty fun but gets old fast
World feels like it was made by Ubisoft, tons of boring pointless collectibles everywhere
No it really doesn’t. It shares 90% of the combat DNA but stuff like different dodge/guard mechanics and different combos/ways to attack specialized enemies make it feel like a janky Chinese knock off
I don't know why there's a comparison, this shit has 2003 era devil may cry juggle combos. It's nothing like batman
I actually wish it was more like batman because that's actually acrobatic. This shit is really stationary where you float in the air since I guess spiderman can fly now and pull enemies up to you
I can't tell if people that say it's exactly like Arkham have never played Arkham or have never played Spider-Man and only seen videos. It has a completely different feel.

you think it will get less over time? that spiderman 2 won't have peter completely cucked , replaced by nu-black spiderman, and his life ruined for not listening to some female in charge?
lol
this is like uncharted. and the spiderman devs showed great hubris during original game's release and rerelease. expect this shit to continue.
I get why Peter is a super genius who happens to get bitten by a super spider and has close personal connections to multiple other super geniuses who happen to become supervillains.
But why is Miles (game version) also a super genius who gets bitten by another super spider with super genius friends one of which becomes a villain and also his uncle happens to be a super criminal. Oh but also he has electric power and invisibility too.
that has always been the problem with miles, he has no character of his own
nobody liked him until that spiderverse movie came out and now people pretend he was always beloved
he only even works when peter isn't around, the fact that his name is also spiderman. he doesn't have an identity other than literally "black spiderman"
Miles was designed to replace Peter Parker completely and with everyone clamoring to call him the real spider-man nowadays, im sure lots of people are salivating at the idea.
Combat is fun
Graphics are good
Swinging sucks and is worse than the Spider-Man 2 movie game on PS2 and Gamecube
Characters are all terrible and unlikeable or boring
Most of the side quests are boring
Overall rating - Its ok. Its nowhere near as good as the Batman Arkham games.
I pirated this and it's really good if you like spider-man. But I'm struggling with balancing the open world with the main story.
Also as much as swing is praised here I dislike how limited your speed is, I feel like dropping from a tall building is a waste of time because it doesn't make me any faster than just tapping A
- Great web swinging/traversal
- BamHam combat, but the best example of it, and the least moronic
- Amazing looking in motion (despite face models looking bad overall)
- Tons of unlockable suitable
Great visuals, music is alright but the same song for open world traversal is tiring, plot is decent enough. Combat is great.
However there needed to be more variety in side quests and patrol missions.
The MJ and Miles stealth missions ruin the pacing at times. The sequel adding flight suits is not what I want from a Spider-Man game so I might skip it
>create a problem nobody asked for by going to the suburbs in queens where there aren't tall buildings >create a solution to the problem they created by making spiderman able to fly
I don't even dislike web wings to help keep some momentum between large gaps but what they showed is absolutely excessive

I like it. Beat it 100% which is more than I can say about a lot of games. There's issues, obviously. The MJ / Miles stealth in particular sections totally take you out of the game and fricking suck to play, especially when you're playing for a second time. Swinging around New York feels really good, collecting all of the suits was fun. Didn't play the Miles expansion or those DLC episodes so I can't comment on them. Definitely the best Spider-Man game I've played, but I haven't played many, and I still have to get around to the PS1 game sometime soon.
The Miles game really does feel like. It plays pretty much the same just with stronger abilities, The story was much more lame and by the time you start getting into the game its already over
it looks great and runs smooth, but is pretty boring
but i've started a new game twice and quit on both of them after 5 hours or so
not sure if it's due to too many cutscenes or the combat being too simplistic
It's ok
It's good good Spider-man to feels to it, like it's based around stuff in the comics but ultimately it feels like the combat is utterly shit compared ot say, Spider-man 2 on PS2 or even Web of Shadows.
It's far too one dimensional and primarily around constantly dodging/countering. It's like Batman but instead of countering 2-3 enemies at once, you're mashing the dodge button 3 times so it just seems moronic in how Spider-man is
>It's like Batman but instead of countering 2-3 enemies at once, you're mashing the dodge button 3 times so it just seems moronic in how Spider-man is
This. Combat in Spider-Man is really shallow and enemies only have one or two ways to defeat them. Especially how annoying shield and crowbar is. Spidey should be able to just web up and rip them away but nope, have to play moronic and wait for the dodge animation or air launch them. Or just spam dodge for perfect dodge.
Batman has shallow combat as well but Rocksteady were smart enough to make you actually think about crowd control, prioritizing targets and providing multiple ways to knock enemies out. Enemy has a shield? You can dodge over them, rip the shield away with the grapple gun, knock it out of their hands with an explosive or if you have the combo meter up enough, insta-KO them. And it gets intense if there's a gun case because Batman dies in two or three bullet shots. So you have to actively plan to take out any thug who picks up a gun and prioritize threat. Or even play risky by building your combo meter enough to use the "Destroy gun" move to totally take it out of play. Batman combat is still one button casual combat but it's not treating the player like a total moron mashing square and triangle.
Still fricks with people's minds to have a low completion % locked behind horseshit to fix, devs knew which is why Miles downed that shit hard down even on top of the shorter campaign.
Neither game is that difficult on the hardest difficulty. You're just a God if you know what you're doing. I think the toughest thing in either game were the strongest goons in the last DLC of the original.
It is much much shorter and has the exact same crimes in progress as the original. You get more combat powers and a new, very shitty story. Otherwise it is the exact same as before just an extension of it.
Besides MJ being b***hy and moronic and forcing herself into the plot, my only other gripe is the character designs. The new suit looks like shit I immediately switched back to the original one, which is perfect. Really, these mother frickers can't design a character for their lives. Everyone gets a tech suit. Rhino? Tech suit. Tinkerer? Tech suit. Fricking Hammerhead? Tech suit. Scorpion, Black Cat, Shocker, and Vulture are alright, but Electro looks like hot garbage. They kinda fricked up Tombstone, Silver Sable has like one personality trait and also has the most boring design they could've given her, and Mister Negative is boring as shit across the board, which is a missed opportunity because he's kinda interesting in the comics. Doc Ock is absolutely amazing, though, and the best adaptation of the character, even better than the Raimi one. The ending to this game is just phenomenal.
I'm looking forward to pirating the second one when it releases on PC, although I might pass since it's got Miles. He's an alright character in this game, likeable kid, but I just hate him trying to be Spider-Man. At least have a different name, dude.
because they're the most popular superheroes from both brands. if you go up to any kid right now they'll either tell you their favorite is batman or spider-man, there's no inbetween. no one actually likes the flash or captain america because they're b-list heroes
10-15 years ago, you could get away with completely linear and level based superhero games. That's why there used to be so many and then they suddenly stopped. Open world games are what sell and all that gets made now. Most other superheros lack interesting traversal systems which makes having an open world game difficult, that's a deal breaker. Sure, Iron Man can fly and we've had Iron Man games but they were boring as shit and there was nothing interesting to do in the world.
Spider-Man obviously has a very unique and interesting traversal system and Batman has his car even though people don't like it. There is other stuff to do in there worlds but a lot of people will just sit down and swing or drive for hours because it's fun. If you don't have that, then you need to have some REALLY fricking good combat to make up for it. But why play a superhero that is all combat when you could go play Batman who has good combat and fun driving? That's the biggest hurdle that game devs just stopped trying to overcome. Now the best 90% of superheroes can get is Mortal Kombat clones or Telltale shit.
The whole thing is just so fricking sterile and joyless, it always makes me sad to think of how much better it could be if it was made with the same sense of fun as the PS1 game. Tell me you wouldn't rather be swinging around to https://youtu.be/uzlPw1um57k instead of that boring fricking looping orchestral theme that starts to feel like a cheese grater on the ears after 5 minutes.
Web swinging and combat are overall pretty fun and enjoyable. They got Peter's personality down pretty well and he is likable as a protagonist. However, the open world sucks ass and is nothing more than following mini map icons which kind of deflates the fun of the web swinging. The parts where you play as MJ and Miles suck, but they're short and limited. The story is also kind of annoying, especially MJ
>"Hey MJ you shouldn't go to the warehouse full of mystical demon terrorists with assault rifles, rocket launchers, and swords. It is very dangerous because they are literally possessed by some weird asian yingyang motherfricker" >'WOW PETER I HATE YOU YOU ALWAYS WANNA CONTROL ME YOU DON'T TRUST ME I THOUGHT WE WERE PARTNERS (Also I lied to you about why we broke up)'
She is just so unlikable that all of that just fell flat with me. I actually liked Miles overall and the relationship with Octavius is a bit forced but still overall nice. However, I think Peter is too smart because the game literally has little 2 second long side objectives where it is like "Peter invent a bacteria that will eat plastic" it's like holy shit Peter just solved one of the biggest sources of pollution in the world by himself in like 5 minutes what the frick he is gonna save the planet and countries trillions of dollars.
The funnier one is one of the most common moves you do as Spider-Man. Throwing sewer grates at peoples heads. Those things are heavy as frick. Your dead if you get one of them thrown at your head at full speed.

One of the best AAA games of the past several years. Not a high bar but it's nice that Spidey got done right by a good team. Good swinging, more aerial variant on Bamham combat that makes it a little more engaging, solid Sinister Six story to string it along. Haven't played Miles and I don't have a PS5 to play 2 but I'm sure Miles is just more of the same and 2 looks fun if only for Symbiote shit. If they make a dedicated Venom game I might crack and get the nogames system.
It's one of those weekend filler games. If rental stores were still a thing I would've rented it for a weekend and never thought about it again. It's not so bad that I didn't beat it, but it's also not so great that I will fondly look back on it. It's just kinda there.
Either you are saying that it's bad for games to be relatively short or you're saying that it's bad for games not to have insane replay value. Either way, it's a ridiculous stance to have. Why are you knocking a game for not being the one that you can devote your entire life to? Most games are just something you play once then put down.
Its pretty fricking good, definitely up there in terms of Spidey games (as if theres much competition for good spiderman games)
combat and swinging is very nice, and the story is top tier. Even after 3 playthroughs I want to pretend everything will be okay and Doc Octavious wont become evil
MJ just fricking sucks in this game though, really one of my only complaints
As I said a few threads ago, it's one of those games that Ganker instinctively dismisses as crap because it's a modern game based on a widely known franchise, but it's actually kind of good? It's nothing great I'd give it a 7.5/10 at best but it's decent.
Decently fun, especially in the parts you can just sort of dick around, but the story is mediocre and a lot of the actual story segments suck. Overall, the PS2 spiderman is better, and the remastered version of the game honestly makes it worse because their not!Tom Holland model looks like ass.
its pretty good
my only gripes with it are the miles and mj sections being boring and slow and the swinging being way too simple, something MM kinda improved but still is way too simple
>the least character flaws
Anon are you fricking insane, he is one of the most flawed superheros
Its the sole thing that makes him relatable, that he makes human mistakes. Peter is a greedy, self righteous piece of shit who tries to have it all, while still being a good guy who wants the best for everyone around him.
Compare this to other heros who are just good guys with occasional attitude problems, worst issues they face is someone dying
>Peter is a greedy, self righteous piece of shit who tries to have it all, while still being a good guy who wants the best for everyone around him.
These are seen as virtues in our current society.
west coast people are nice but unkind
east coast people are kind but not nice
if you get a flat tire in california people will pass by and go wowww that sucks, I'm sorry that happened to you, and keep walking
if you get a flat tire in new york people will stop what they're doing, get on their knees and help you change it on the side of the road while calling you a blind fricking moron the entire time because you didn't see the pothole
I really hope they rework Manhattan a bit in addition to adding Queens. Not having the Heights there feels really fricking dumb.
Also, there's no fricking way we're not getting Brooklyn alongside Queens at least right? The map would look really fricking stupid if they leave it out, though I guess they didn't have a problem just pretending the Heights didn't fricking exist in the first game.
I was having fun until I had to do some moronic stealth/walk-and-talk section with MJ. Every game is like this now where they interrupt a legitimately enjoyable gameplay loop to shove cutscenes and dialog down your throat.

They also complain about being forced to play as Catwoman. That was a big deal when City came out and some people still cry about it to this day.
shut the frick up, those missions account for nearly 1/3 of play time
confirmed didn't play the game
wasn't talking to you shit sniffer
Even if you played at a snail's pace like the people in these videos, it's less than an hour spread out across a 16 hour game.
Because they're a totally different type of gameplay they usually broke the pace of the game a fair bit for me.
It's the fact that she can't accept her role as a normal human being and working alongside Peter as an info collector, flexing her muscle as a journalist (because MJ is Lois Lane now). On two occasions I dropped the game because of this.

Batman has a weird feel. he's heavy outside of combat, but in combat he's all of a sudden super nimble. It's fun though.
It makes sense for Batman not waste all of his energy just getting around like Spider-Man does.
Replace MJ with Blackcat, and it would have been better. MJ was a void of personality in the game, and Peter had a better dynamic with Felicia.
homosexuals, Mary Jane was great

Probably because the story needed to happen.
You can write a story without making Miles just another peter parker but urban
No you can't, because Miles is literally just a Sonic OC.
moron
that has always been the problem with miles, he has no character of his own

It’s a solid 8/10. Nothing too mindblowingly amazing, but not bad. Probably the best modern Sony exclusive
Spider-Man is for little kids. Always has been and will be. Grown adults don’t care about a children’s superhero

Good/10, and I don't even like capeshit.
Cool game, fun movement
Mary Jane is awful
Sable was a bit of a Mary Sue and Peter should've porked her
Miles was annoying
Too much Green Goblin foreshadowing. We all know that's who Norman turns into writers, you can lay off now.
Grandma Sable
Ultimate Spider-Man and Web of Shadows continue to be the superior games than Insomniac's Spider-Man.
I meant to play Ultimate Spider-Man as a kid but never got around to it. How was it?
Spider-Man is just not as epic of a character as Batman https://youtu.be/SdzAe-w71To
Game is good, Miles is even better, but they can't write for shit. Also frick this b***h.
>Started the second DLC
>it's this c**t again
I don't think I can do it lads
Just you wait for 3

anything in the outer boroughs or the east river will definitely require its usage for traversal
There is still web zipping which is how you get around the places with small buildings in all the older games.
Flight suits was one of the few things I liked about the trailer. By the time I've 100% both games I want new ways to traverse
>y'all
i have nothing to tell you, r*dditor
It alright. Good story to it. I mostly just had fun dicking around taking photos of spiderman
Really mid. It evoked no emotion from me
It plays pretty much the same just with stronger abilities, The story was much more lame and by the time you start getting into the game its already over
I thought I was the only one that took pictures like this.
nice. It made the game alot more fun to frick around in
Like DLC*
Its alright the dlc are the only good stuff thought
Mediocre
What outfit did you use? I started with the kamen rider one, then the comic one, and finally the Spiderverse suit.
the black stealth suit
it looks great and runs smooth, but is pretty boring
but i've started a new game twice and quit on both of them after 5 hours or so
not sure if it's due to too many cutscenes or the combat being too simplistic
You need ADHD medication.
i've beat red dead 2 tho?
Fun but weighed down by Ubishit game design. Too many fricking forts and they're too long to beat.
You don't have to play any of them or unlock any of the towers besides the first few to beat the game.
Still fricks with people's minds to have a low completion % locked behind horseshit to fix, devs knew which is why Miles downed that shit hard down even on top of the shorter campaign.
Don't play video games if you have a weak mind then.
i have a sick desire to play the miles game even though i know it's really bad
It objectively has better gameplay than the first game.
>game is easier
>that mean it better
Zoomers were a mistake
No one said that and it's not true. You'd know that if you actually played either game.
It's better because the combat is better. It's about as difficult as the first (so not at all)
>the combat is better because le venom blast
Yawn
>>the combat is better because le venom blast
Yes
>MAKE IT EASIER ZADDY
yawn
Neither game is that difficult on the hardest difficulty. You're just a God if you know what you're doing. I think the toughest thing in either game were the strongest goons in the last DLC of the original.
Who told you that? Gameplay is way better, story is just as bad as ever but it's capeshit so it's a given.
It's fine, it's just a lot more modestly sized because it's stand alone DLC.
It is much much shorter and has the exact same crimes in progress as the original. You get more combat powers and a new, very shitty story. Otherwise it is the exact same as before just an extension of it.
just wait for it to go on sale if you're too moronic to pirate it.
but it's still over €20 on g2jew
gameplay was improved. story was fine. i would recommend it if you can get it for cheap. people who paid 70 bucks for it on PS5 got ripped off.
Its not bad. Its better than the spiderman dlcs at the very least
really hope sm2 kills off peter so we can move tf on and focus on miles
we dont need 2 spider men
Haven't seen the first movie yet but enjoyed the second movie.
pretty great games
I haven't played it, so I don't have an opinion on it.
swinging is too handholdy, compat gets old after a few hours
Paul is Venom in the second game
VENUUUMMMMMMMM
Will Wolverine have a cameo?
Batman = Based
Spider-Man = Cringe
Why did they stop making Batman Arkham games? Are Warner Brothers moronic?
Batman died.
At least have a different name, dude.
chatgpt post
Why are these the only ones who get games? Why not make an X-men game? Or an Iron Man game?
because they're the most popular superheroes from both brands. if you go up to any kid right now they'll either tell you their favorite is batman or spider-man, there's no inbetween. no one actually likes the flash or captain america because they're b-list heroes
Zoomers don't care about Batman. Iron Man is way more popular with them. Spider-Man is still the most popular with everyone though.
>Zoomers don't care about Batman
you literally dont know zoomers then, the new batman movie made him even more zoomercore
You're getting a wolverine game and then hopefully a venom spinoff in place of miles morales 2
Once they go through all the superheroes guys in their early 50s have tattoos of they can move on to other things
they make other superhero games. they're just extremely shit
Because those two are literally the only two cool superheroes. All the others can frick off.
Static Shock is cool despite being an *African American* https://youtu.be/xYTrfHX1l0s
Flash has a neat traversal system, but I have no idea how you'd do it in a video game.
>y'all
Frick you, redditor.
but to answer your question, it's not very good at all. I wanted to like it, but it's boring as frick.
Based or cringe?
It's cringe that Batman didn't actually break his rule in any of these games.
Batman almost had a Chauvin Moment.
That PS1 Spider-Man game was great. I never played the sequel but I remember people saying it wasnt as good as the 1st one
It is very dangerous because they are literally possessed by some weird asian yingyang motherfricker"
>'WOW PETER I HATE YOU YOU ALWAYS WANNA CONTROL ME YOU DON'T TRUST ME I THOUGHT WE WERE PARTNERS (Also I lied to you about why we broke up)'
She is just so unlikable that all of that just fell flat with me.
They did a bad job at making me not think that Pete shouldn't have just stayed with Black Cat
>Jarvi-Peter invent world changing technology for 1 science token
>tfw I remember they changed Peters face to look like a zoomer in the PS5 version when he looked great in the PS4 version
I dropped it ever since they changed the face of Peter. I can't look at the new one. Looks horrible.
>Batman definitely doesn't kill people guys
Same can be said of Pete and Miles, you can't tell me I didn't fricking snap someone's spine in half with some of these finishers/venom punches
The funnier one is one of the most common moves you do as Spider-Man. Throwing sewer grates at peoples heads. Those things are heavy as frick. Your dead if you get one of them thrown at your head at full speed.
For me it's knocking them off buildings.
Really fun and so was the Miles game (this one improved on the combat too). Didn't pay for either of them either which was nice.
It's funny, actually the game auto-webs them to walls if you throw people off the roof
>fall 50 floors
>its ok it webbed him at the last minute
What do you mean? Worked for Gwen
These guys are taking punches from a guy who can stop a train bare-handed, nobody in this game takes realistic amounts of damage
you can literally hear the freefalling body autoswinging to a wall at 0:20s
One of the best AAA games of the past several years. Not a high bar but it's nice that Spidey got done right by a good team. Good swinging, more aerial variant on Bamham combat that makes it a little more engaging, solid Sinister Six story to string it along. Haven't played Miles and I don't have a PS5 to play 2 but I'm sure Miles is just more of the same and 2 looks fun if only for Symbiote shit. If they make a dedicated Venom game I might crack and get the nogames system.
>"That's a cute outfit! Did your homosexual husband make it for you?!"
How'd Sam Raimi get away with it?
It was a different time
Isnt somebody making an Iron Man game? I forget who. Probably EA.
Aren't you confusing it with Anthem?
guys who made dead space remake are making it
Good game, however after I beat it never felt like playing it again
Most games honestly don't need replay value, especially movie games.
It's one of those weekend filler games. If rental stores were still a thing I would've rented it for a weekend and never thought about it again. It's not so bad that I didn't beat it, but it's also not so great that I will fondly look back on it. It's just kinda there.
Not a lot of people realize this but you can rent videogames from the library
That's cool, but I just buy it from amazon, beat it and send it back.
Used to do that with gamestop but they caught on and banned me
Why do people act like every game needs to be made for people with no lives that can sink hundreds or thousands of hours into one game?
Can you please not quote me when you are obviously talking to some imaginary boogeyman?
Either you are saying that it's bad for games to be relatively short or you're saying that it's bad for games not to have insane replay value. Either way, it's a ridiculous stance to have. Why are you knocking a game for not being the one that you can devote your entire life to? Most games are just something you play once then put down.
Work on your reading comprehension and again, please don't quote me when you clearly don't adress my argument.
Go back to your MMO then troony
mentally ill
I win
Its pretty fricking good, definitely up there in terms of Spidey games (as if theres much competition for good spiderman games)
combat and swinging is very nice, and the story is top tier. Even after 3 playthroughs I want to pretend everything will be okay and Doc Octavious wont become evil
MJ just fricking sucks in this game though, really one of my only complaints
I haven't played it but I think it's shit
Is Spiderman the superhero with the least character flaws? It's almost like they tried too hard to make him relatable and an overall good guy.
He's kind of self-destructive. He's virtuous to fault because he inevitably makes his own life worse for the sake of NYC.
in the original run, he was somewhat of a proto-incel
>the least character flaws
Anon are you fricking insane, he is one of the most flawed superheros
Its the sole thing that makes him relatable, that he makes human mistakes. Peter is a greedy, self righteous piece of shit who tries to have it all, while still being a good guy who wants the best for everyone around him.
Compare this to other heros who are just good guys with occasional attitude problems, worst issues they face is someone dying
are you stupid or something
>Peter is a greedy, self righteous piece of shit who tries to have it all, while still being a good guy who wants the best for everyone around him.
These are seen as virtues in our current society.
he's a new yawka
west coast people are nice but unkind
east coast people are kind but not nice
if you get a flat tire in california people will pass by and go wowww that sucks, I'm sorry that happened to you, and keep walking
if you get a flat tire in new york people will stop what they're doing, get on their knees and help you change it on the side of the road while calling you a blind fricking moron the entire time because you didn't see the pothole
Let's be completely fricking fair here, I can see that happening in the Boroughs, but not fricking anywhere upstate, or even LI
he does have flaws, peter parkers story is a great tragedy
his powers are in many ways a curse he can use to help everybody except himself
????? as opposed to which flawed superhero? superman? batman? iron man?
Fun as frick till you get forced stealth, not even being able to use Spidey but instead as a b***h and a Black person
The combat is incredibly fun and I loved mixing gadgets in with combat. The webswinging is cool. Everything else is just okay.
MJ sequences are shit.
Web swinging holds your hand too much, the game will literally make you levitate to prevent you from touching the ground.
