Look at the gnomish screeching at declaring Europeans to be "indigenous".
That's le bad now, we're supposed to give a shit what some Europeans think because they want to project their complaints about Muslims on us
The Mayflower landed in El Paso of course
I grew up in Texas, and we would group into rooms alphabetically for standardized tests in high school. There was a whole rooms for each of just Garcias, Hernandezes, Smiths, and McSomethings.
I either use the names of my D&D characters from middle school (Azril, Katsu, and Mehen, whichever feels most appropriate) or knights of the round table and paladin of charlemange names for more contemporary or lower fantasy settings (Arthur, Percival/Percy, Roland, etc but those three are my go-to).
If it's a girl I use Penelope, Alice, Charlotte, etc. If it's a porn though I go with weeb names like Yui or Reiko so I don't 'spoil' the other female names.
>I am the lord of Deadside. Shadow born at the confluence of worlds to walk between. Liveside is without the meaning that my partly living possesses here, in Deadside, where the darkness is manifest at the edge of reason. As a GOD I step forth upon the writhing, suppurating surface of the Deadside serpent. What sleep is there? What dreams are there in the unctuous coilings of the snake's mortal shuffling? Weapon in my hand, my hand the arcing deathblow at the End Of All Things. The Horror. The Horror. I embrace it.
I like history and Alaric is a really cool fantasy-sounding name that suits a protag so I always use that for my PC. Alternatively I use cool sounding titles/positions as names like Deacon or something
If I'm playing a D&D-like game where I care about my character and role playing, I come up with something relevant to their character and fitting with the lore of the setting. If it's something like Starfield or some other game where role playing doesn't matter, I'm Beef McChungus.
Hebrew letters(Aleph, Zayin, Daleth, Yod, etc.), chaos language(Nier) lyrics and enochian words/phrases for characters that I'm not going to get invested in from role-playing perspective.
For two characters from my dreams I use their own names(Lucy and Peach)
For my self-insert I use a name I've borrowed from one fairytale.
I don't have one. I autistically research the lore of the game's setting to find an authentic name.
Sometimes I notice everyone calls me by a generic name anyway and I restart and change to that name. Like "Chosen Undead" or "Ashen One".

I'm unimaginative so I just use asoiaf character names.

Whoa there, this yearbook is inaccurate, black people didn't exist 20 years ago

Usually some variation on the name of a Morrowind npc.
Well researched lore friendly name if the setting has them.
Example: a Khajiit thief named J'mal.
While Emile Hirsch comes off as smarter, I can't make any sense of that poem.
