I'm not sure that Tsumi K1 comparison really works. Dude broke down the second he had a memory of hurting his friends. Satoko's just kinda content despite actively doing many worse things without HS as an excuse.

For real: what am I supposed to take away from Sotsu, and Satoko's character? I watched 13 episodes of her being an unrepentant murderer, and nothing bad happens to her. She doesn't reflect in any capacity on her actions, and it's barely even brought up in the last two episodes. She gets a happy ending, and we're all supposed to be smiles as a new version of You plays.
It feels like a wish fulfillment for a psychopath. Like, imagine the ultimate Good End a serial killer would dream up for themselves, as they're sitting in a jail cell, waiting to get executed.

OK from Gou, I started hating the b***h in Sotsu, good thing Rika beat the crap out of her, perhaps she deserved even more beating for being that brutal and bad with her friends.but then again she had part witch in her, that doesnt entirely let her off, as she let herself be manipulated by it.
I enjoyed the series, felt Sotsu drag, but the last 2 episodes were great, it felt like it needed a few more episodes to make everyone happy, it felt that only 2 episodes to end the series entirely happy were not enough after all the killing and suffering.
its not perfect but I appreciate the higurashis now have a happy ending
