I will eventually but I don't want to go through the headache of reinstalling everything again and Windows 10 isn't broke so I'm not going to fix it.

Not him. I play Tomb Raider remastered, OW2 and rarely L4D2.

that leak was from china whoever installed it was moronic
just stick with windows 10 ltsc iot

        >leak
I'm just guessing Anon. MS really wants to milk users with as many ads as possible so I'm sure they'll break 11 LTSC for gaming.

The backdoor only affected test releases and one bleeding-edge distro. Audio? Fine, just werks. Thumbnails? Maybe that's a Gnome problem, but it's fine for me on KDE.

Why would I do that? Windows 13 will be out by the time Steam says upgrade or else to Win 10 users.

Win11 has a network adaptor software issue.
It needs to occasionally be restarted but there is no option to manually do it
Sometimes win11 will detect a "low" network and give you a prompt to restart adapter but if it doesn't detect it you have to restart your computer.
This is a problem that isn't talked about enough.

No need, until there is something I want to use that won't run in w10.
Just like with win 7; it was like 4-5 years after w10 released when I """upgraded""", and only because some games I wanted to play didn't have directx11 support. And by then w10 was well understood and the tools/scripts/techniques to remove as much pozzware were available and tested.

Will do it again if I ever need to use pozz11.
But its getting just too ridiculous, so I guess I'll give lelnux a 2n- 3rd try.
Or maybe just stop playing Black persongames, there hasn't been a game I have been hyped for in years.

I bet MS will make 11 LTSC non-gaming viable. I mean they can see the Steam stats of people who pirated LTSC. Also it is funny how an OS with fewer """features""" costs more.

And how will they do that? I tried out the LTSC build, Steam and Doom Eternal worked fine.

I tried to, I honest to god tried, went into bios, made sure TPM is enabled used the pc health check thingy and a third party program to confirm that I met all the requirements which I did, made a usb install because I needed a fresh install anyway and then during installation I got told my pc sudddenly doesn't meet the requirements right at that instant, I'm sure that bodes well for how fricking buggy 11 must be, still don't have the option to just upgrade the live version either, I want to rip the band-aid off but Microsoft won't fricking let me

Windows 11 is bad and I wish I hadn't "upgraded," but I really had no choice in the matter.
They've been very slow to add features that were present in fricking Win7 and some of them still don't even work right.
    >Found out a few months ago they finally enabled the ability to decouple programs so duplicates don't get automatically stacked AND they aren't compressed to icons either, full text
    >They don't have a fixed size and change size according to how long the name of a given program is, so something like Discord will literally grow and shrink (to a certain maximum) when you change pages
    >Still can't make the taskbar an appropriate size (it's too fat, icons are too big)
    >Still can't decouple Internet and Audio buttons on taskbar (why is this a thing?)
