>crafting system
Nothing inherently wrong with this. I just wish they did a better job of implementing it and didn't take away from tools so fricking much.
Every complaint from modern ac gays boils down to not enough personality which they never had much of in the first place. Saying the gc was best even though the jp version did not have shitty edgy animals, in any release at all, and saying new leaf is better because muh mini games for shitty furniture on tortimer island after you've basically completed main street which is nothing but pointless fricking bell grinding for months.

The village was the same size as WW. The city didn’t have a lot do do but it did at least bring new shops to the series, and seeing random villagers in the square and being able to chat with them was great
the game has been co-opted by trannies. the switch's success is great but you can tell nintendo have diluted their IPs down to appeal to broader groups, and a lot of games have lost their soul as a result
New Leaf and Isabelle herself killed the series. I have never seen such a shitty character forced down our throats since Final Fantasy Lightning. Merch, promotional material, on every AC boxart since New Leaf, and added to Smash Bros.
I agree and the favoritism is off the charts. It's very strange how Isabelle appears in everything while Digby her twin, brother gets nothing. He doesn't even show up as an alt/echo for Isabelle in Smash Bros. Why do they pretend he doesn't exist?
It's disgusting they practically ditched Rover in favor of her. He only appeared in that one special island in NH which was such a nothingburger that people thought it was a tease for something new, and lo and behold two years later nothing happens. NH got rid of a lot of characters in fact.
New leaf, when it let you start controlling everything about your island. Isabelle was introduced and opened the floodgates for furries and normies, the artstyle was ugly with humanized legs and hands, and the dialogue was horrendous. The game starts off boring as hell until you can actually fill your island up with any interesting buildings and by then You’re playing the sims instead of AC
ACNH. The series had taken hits in areas before but it's that one which washed away any personality that was left and it lacked enough varied content to make up for it
That seems to be the newest trend with games now. Release a game early and then add new, modes, story, characters, etc as dlc later. >but even that was missing some things at launch
Some people think it's still missing things now.
It is a victim of modern gaming homosexualry.
"Hey the kids like that mineycraftah game maybe we should put a crafting system into Animal Crossing?"
>crafting system

Its such a tired trope
Because parasites like you think the whole series has to be like the homosexual us localized edgy animal crossing games
>Because parasites like you
?

when residents had their personalities robbed
when the animals stopped shitting on me
honestly this.
their banting was really nice stuff.
By giving the player too much control. Everything feels fleeting and trivial.
>New Leaf
>Peak
No, City Folk was by far the peak of Animal Crossing.
kek
came to this thread to specifically rip apart the Wii version for being so fricking shit, you deserve the rest of the franchise truly
City folk was great. Give me one good reason it was bad that isn’t the grass degradation
the city wasn't very interesting and the village was incredibly tiny

I only ever played the gamecube AC. Are any of the later titles worth playing over it? I'm not a woman btw.
the game has been co-opted by trannies. the switch's success is great but you can tell nintendo have diluted their IPs down to appeal to broader groups, and a lot of games have lost their soul as a result
no
it was always pretty shit, nintendo not knowing what quality of life is making the games miserable to play
Animal crossing for Gamecube deserves it's own modding community.
its criminal that basically the only gc animal crossing mod is a texture pack
New Leaf and Isabelle herself killed the series. I have never seen such a shitty character forced down our throats since Final Fantasy Lightning. Merch, promotional material, on every AC boxart since New Leaf, and added to Smash Bros.

city folk and amiibo festival are the only bad ones
CF had some questionable decisions but NL is where the biggest issues started. Focus on decorating and dressing up and watering down of the villagers.
Wild World. They removed holidays and each title afterwards was soulless.

Probably New Leaf I'd say.
I don't play these games. What's the difference between Animal Crossing and Harvest Moon?
https://voca.ro/14aY0mxPCknI
NH should have had every single furniture piece from the series so far.
it's pure bullshit that it doesn't
fricking Pocket Camp has a better selection of items than NH
Pocket Camp is also a gacha.
Yeah but that wouldn't fix my issues with it.
I agree, New Horizons has way too much annoyances. This game is the least comfy in the series.
I only played the first two games. Got bored of them pretty quickly.
Wild World's intro screen theme still gives me a massive throbbing nostalgia boner though
The best way to enjoy Animal Crossing is to ignore the games and jerk off to the porn.
ACNH. The series had taken hits in areas before but it's that one which washed away any personality that was left and it lacked enough varied content to make up for it
This. The game just feels so empty and incomplete compared to the other games in the series.
I feel that way about a lot of switch entries of series except for smash ultimate but even that was missing some things at launch.

It's always sucked since there is no dating system.
