MGS was pretty rad. He could release literal shit (and he might) from now on and it couldn’t tarnish the insane genius of MGS. It was probably lightning in a bottle but I would rank MGS easily in the top five most important games ever made. Mostly I’m talking about the ps1 original but 2 and 3 were brilliant too.

As someone that only heard about his "genius", it was playing death stranding, wich i was pretty hyped given his unworthy reputation, even worse, the first hikes were fine, then the game is just shit, everything other than hiking is shit, and checking back to past games, seems like it was always the case, they're filled with shitty written characters, retcons, inconsistency, filler that's really just for pseuds to feel smart without actually being so, god the bosses suck gameplay wise

The mission in ground zeroes where you had to find mgs tittle logos scattered around the island was so heckin GOOD.
It was so epic when Miller told me to find all main tittle logos, and when you get to find them all, cameo of hideo kojima would say: "you seem to be a fan of Hideo Kojima games". I have never cried so hard in my life. It was so HECKIN EPIC. KOJIMA IS AN ARTISTIC GENIUS. No wonder they show his name in beginning of every single mission of the game.
I’m pretty sure Kojima is the dark man from The Stand and I have to fight him in order to save this world from being retconned out of existence.
