When you think you're getting stuck, die. The game is intended to die and restart a lot. Don't think about progressing the main quest until you're around level 16
Devs say this because they think the average player is a moron. Use quick steps, skateboards, take photos often and seek out PP stickers, stock up on good shit and you'll breeze through the game
DR3 is almost 10 years old, and I finally decided to give it a shot. Thought it might be decent, the limited gameplay I'd seen looked fine. Figured it might just be some bullshittery from anons like I'd seen for DR2/OTR. But man, no, I was wrong. Game is just not good. I'm not really gonna say it's bad but it sure is a game. Maybe a 4/10. Also the ending felt really rushed too, not sure what that shit was about. Like the game just fricking ended.
I played through the DLCs and the one where you were the military dude I thought might be cool to expand on. A dead rising game where you just play as the bad guy, fricking over survivors and clearing out their bases with fricking zombie gas, could really be kino.
I thought it was an interesting game when it came out, but it’s bogged down in a bunch of Japanese clunkiness. Dark souls has the same issue where it feels like I’m playing Super Smash Bros or something. The physics don’t match what the screen is showing.
