If these requirements are not met, the wearer of the suit has little chance of survival; the springlocks will come loose and the endoskeleton parts will rapidly recoil inwards, thus impaling the suit's user and causing a slow, painful death."

This thing is the mother of all OHSA violations. How the hell were Fazbear Entertainment not shut down just for putting their employees in gayer Berserker Armor but axed because one their business associates started murdering their customers?

Also, FNAF thread I guess.

Fnaf lore beyond fnaf 3 is genuinely fricking moronic.

Genuinely as confusing as Kingdom Hearts and Metal Gear Solid. The time travel frickery in DragonBall is easier to wrap your head around than FNAF lore.

It's confusing for a number of reasons
          >Scott never planned the story anything beyond fnaf 1 when he started
          >Scott did plan out the story up until 4
          >wanted the series to end at 4
          >Scott heavily hinted at dream theory to be true
          >turns out "it was all a dream" is really fricking gay
          >made sister location in order to basically redirect fnaf 4
          >sister location, fnaf 6, and ucn is "easier" to follow
          >Scott ends the story with Fnaf 6 with a satisfying conclusion, wrapping up everything by just burning everyone
          >now Security Breach is made and just reopens the wound
          SB should've never been made

6's ending was terrible. William outright knows it's a trap, every other animatronic is there thinking William called them there, and yet somehow every single one of them just sit around in vents for an entire week just playing hide and seek with Michael. You could excuse this saying that they're just dumb and can't communicate but the entire point of Sister Location is that they are smart and can communicate, and Scott gave William the ability to speak for no reason other than to make it even dumber. Not to mention how much of a waste the actual game is, you never even get to see any of them do anything and then they all die. Anyone who says this was a good sendoff is stupid.

Henry outright says that the vents are basically a labyrinth of sights and sounds tailor made to keep animatronics there as long as they need to be. I'd say the 3x3 map we see isn't super accurate.
William hauling ass to be there is kinda bullshit, yeah, but he's probably just trying to kill Michael after shit went down in 3.

Basically the story was changed twice, the mystery box in fnaf 4 was changed 3 times, aswell as the main character in fnaf 4 was changed like 3 times.
            >first it was just the crying child
            >then Scott hinted that you played as Michael, the older brother of the crying child, either having nightmares or being tortured by Afton with illusion sound discs
            >then changed back to the crying child

            >We still use our animatronics even though one of them bit off a kid's frontal lobe. It's fine, he survived.

I hate that we still don't know what the bite of 87 was
            >fnaf 4 is the bite of 83

Fnaf 6 is kinda okay. It was made to wrap up any loose ends of the story.
The final ending is kino and makes up for it for the medicore gameplay.

The ending is carried by the VA and music. The actual speech sucks and requires every single character to turn their brains off to even occur.

the first 3 games would have made for a great trilogy. shit gets too "plot for the sake of plot" after 4.

Scott unironically just made 4 because people didn't like 3

true, yeah. i understand his reasoning for making 4, and he did what he could for the game (it actually is a pretty decent game for the lore and gameplay) but SL onwards it just fricks it all up

Sister Location was made because 4 was too ambigious of a story.
Pizzeria Sim. was made because people weren't satisified with SL's story.
You are right, SL and FFPS were both made trying to improve the plot from 4.

I thought it was a fun addition to the series going forward. Really his lines are what are funny, and his delivery fits the stereotypical very family-friendly corporate voice well.

He made it TOO funny, he turned it into a comedy series. Phone Guy was funny but still had a tinge of realism to him that kept things grounded, HandUnit is just a funny catchphrase robot who transcends time and space to appear in every single game.

I remember thinking SB was gonna completely launch this series into a new era because of how good it looked.
Then they turned around and changed 85% before releasing it.
why does it always happen to the best of us.

FNAF has always been a horror comedy series though. Phone guy still said ridiculous stuff. I think Handunit is just a good representation of how Fazbear Inc. operates. That is probably why he's been around all this time. Another version of Phone Guy would be great in a future game though. Hopefully the FNAF movie's instructor woman has some good lines.

I will never not be mad at how they butchered Security Breach. Help Wanted 2 and the SB DLC better be good.

It was made during the 80's, where everything was an OHSA violation.
It also makes sense for the company wanting to penny pinch and not giving a shit about employee safety.

If we're ignoring the MAJOR risks, would springlock animatronics even be worth the investment?
Sure, it keeps consistency between the animatronics and mascot costumes (probably cool to kids since the character seems to come alive), but is that enough to justify it? A shitty costume would cost much less.
